My husband had Alzheimer's disease and for 4 years, the show was on our television one way or the other, 24 hours a day. It kept him happy and every show in every season was brand new. I think I have memorized the script for all characters in all seasons, but I loved the show and the cast members as though they were family. My husband passed away last year, and he would be devastated to know it was not renewed! I will have to keep watching it in his memory. Alex O'Loughlin, I would love to go for a ride in Danny's car with you! Thanks to all of you for making my husband's last days so happy, and best of luck to you all!

I'm so sorry for your loss, I'm 67 and I go once a week (50 mile drive) to see my mother that just turned 85. She doesn't know who I am any more. Like I told my wife of 40 years, I go to see her for myself not for her. I lost my dad in 1998 and my youngest brother in 2001. I've learned to live with loss as it has made me a lot more spiritual. I was told a long time ago as long as you remember, they will always be alive in your heart. prayers to you.

This is the best re-boot of any older show I have ever seen. I have loved how they tied together the past show, Hawaii's past, and the new. I have re-watched every episode. I have really missed it. The writing and the acting were impeccable.

They ended it because of many reasons but one of them being a shoulder injury that the guy who plays Danny got and he couldn’t continue past season 10

So sad this show brought so many good memories and the cast post season seven was really starting to turn out great when most were sad with the departure of Kono and Chin. It’s really sad to see this show go knowing how much I loved i loved it and how I grew up on it. Knowing there will be fridays without my favorite duo of McDanno and this whole cast is just so heartbreaking.😭😞
Alex’s health problems explains so much about why the last few seasons hasn’t got any good action scenes that the earlier seasons had.

Kya Smith the episodes are still good but they’re losing an audience for the people that did like it for that reason. For example the latest episode in the uk was about eddies PTSD and Danny meeting a random girl in a bar and then being in an accident. So you could understand why they’re finishing the show now.

Oh yes. In the earlier seasons when he was going after someone you almost felt for them because you knew McGarret was going to destroy them. It was fun to watch. Remember the one he was chained up in a basement and escaped? But still the show did really well even with him backing off the action. I wish we had some more of Cole from the last two episodes. He is bad ass too.
I am very disappointed to hear that the show is being cancelled. I watched the original with Jack Lord and loved it. I have grown to love the cast members over the years and wish them all much success . I want to thank them and all that went into the creating of this amazing show. I'm so sad this show is ending. it was one of my favorites. I wish they had let McGarrett leave somehow and brought in the new guy from the last two episodes to lead the team. I understand his medical issues and my heart goes out to him but still wish they had not cancelled it.

I was so shocked last Friday to learn that 5 0 would not exist after this Friday! I don't know where I've been that I had no idea that this was going to happen. I guess this awful virus has occupied my life so much I was totally unaware of the show ending. I have watched since the beginning and I feel that I'm loosing a part of the family. This is so hard for those who look forward to watching this show on Friday night. I can understand if Alex is hurting and wanting to end the show after all the crazy things he has done on the show. All of the cast should know that there are people/fans out here that will miss them terribly. I can remember the first Hawaii 50 and Jack Lord. I worked with a lady who just wrote a book about Jack Lord. Like Becky below...I too am heartbroken. The chemistry of the cast was perfect. I visited and stayed where the show was filmed and one day we saw the 5 0 crew getting ready for a show. I love watching the views from the sky and re-living the memory of my visit to Hawaii in 2016 with my family for my granddaughters 16th birthdays. I look forward to seeing where the cast members end up. If Alex ever reads this, I loved you in this show and in Moonlighting. I truly feel a loss with this show ending.

I am truly going to miss this show. Some of the plots were a bit "out there", but many were very interesting, especially ones that went into the History of the islands.The characters were very good and I especially liked when James Caan and Scott Caan played against each other. One of my favourite things was the Photography and location scenes around the Islands. Fantastic hight quality filming. I always watched for familiar locations, almost as good as being there.
I was little more than a child when I started watching it, by pure chance, here in Italy. Yet it had surprised me from the start. I continued to watch it, episode after episode, season after season; I went from being a kid to becoming a teenager and ended up becoming a man. Hawaii five-o, along with Flashpoint which ended in 2012, was my second "ohana". Knowing that it is coming to an end is a blow to the heart. I'll miss Commander McGarrett, I'll miss Denno, I'll miss Hawaii. I will miss everything that can be traced back to everything that has been a piece of my life. Mahlo for all.

This was a great television series. Hated to see it end. Many of us looked forward to watching this weekly show. So sad the main actor became bored and constantly injured. Don’t know why Adam’s wife and her cousin were dropped from the show. How sad that was. The show lost a bit of flavor when they left. Kudos to the entire crew for a job well done. Best wishes!
It's extremely sad that this show is being cancelled. I have a personal connection. My parents were huge fans of the original show and thus, I was named after the main character. When the reboot cane about, my wife had a crush on the new Steve! We had our honeymoon in Hawaii and went to some of the iconic places in the show. This show will truly be missed

Jose Fernandes honestly they should have just written Danny, Steve, Lou, and Adam off. Then they could have done a little bit of a time jump and had Tani and Jr. running things with Quinn still on the squad and the ME lady. Then they could have brought in new blood and new storylines with a couple of favorites and just have Steve, Danny, Lou, and Adam first star in minor spots once or twice a season (maybe even Kono and Chin some day). Lou was kind’ve useless (physically) after his first season and he was a swat specialist so he didn’t really fit in with the rest of the people on the cast that are military, detectives, or young and upcoming. Scott and Alex have seemed like they were only half into the show since season 6 honestly. Danny has become pretty useless, too. So once Steve/Alex started just going through the motions they show kinda died.

I can’t explain how bummed I am that the series is finishing up. All good things must pass . BUT ,it will always be a favorite .my wife who doesn’t watch much tv but we have 5-0 that she really enjoys. She loves the arguments between Danny and Steve.And why in the HECK did I just make the connection between Danny and Sonny Coreleone. Guys and Gals Crew and all that made the show kick BUTT! But my personal favorite is BIGLOU ! Love all of y’all good lucki in what ever direction you might go ! MALOHO !

I am heartbroken about this. They don't even have to make him the lead character. Let Mcgarrett go in search of something and bring someone else in to run the team. They can keep Mcgarrett alive in the show by making references to him and even getting his advice through phone calls. Heck the killed off LaSalle on NCIS New Orleans and now no Hawaii 5-O. TV'S just not worth watching anymore.
I feel you truly. Bar magnum pi there's nothing worth watching anymore. Everything's either ending or declining very badly that I fear they're running their courses.

I loved this show, and I think it’s one of the best shows on TV right now. Since they are cancelling it I won’t have anything to watch on CBS, on Fridays. Not continuing with this show is a mistake, but I wish all the cast the best
I love this show and hate that it was canceled. I figured Scott Caan was on his way out because of the number of shows each season that he was not in, but I don't think losing either of these characters and the chemistry between them could be replaced if one or the other left. It will be sorely missed but I am not one to watch reruns, so goodbye with love Hawaii Five-O
I do understand Alex O'Loughlin wanted to leave after 10 seasons especially after being injured numerous times, but I'm not gonna lie it also breaks my heart. So many of the good shows go off the air and your left with these ones that well, not even come close to being as good as 5-O. I love all the characters and was so excited with the Magnum & 5-O crossover, but hopefully maybe occasionally some of the actors can guest appear on Magnum. I remember the first time watching Scott Caan and Chi McBride back in the movie they did together "Gone In 60 Seconds" and I loved their chemistry in it so I was thrilled when he join Scott on 5-O. Endless memories of favorite episodes of a wonderful tv series that's leaving us. I wish all the actors & actresses the best of luck with whatever opportunities the future brings. Very sad that this series is over it was what I wa looking forward every week for friday night however I understand that a lot goes behind the scenes and I believe that safe t y first the series in in amazon I am buying all the seasons and save then in my computer. I think Scott might have wanted to be with his dad. James Caan had been unwell for awhile. I was sad to hear that James died. Condolences to Scott. I know what it's like to lose your dad. Mine died last year in May.

I stopped watching after Parks and Kim left. I still think it's an amazing show, but it didn't feel right without the proper ensemble. I might go binge the old seasons.
While attending grad school in Honolulu in 1967-, I got to watch Jack Lord film the pilot for Hawaii-Five-O and have watched it through its rebooting, always to see local sights in our gorgeous islands. Aloha nui loa, my friends- I will miss you!
I'm ah bit older as well, so I remember the original show...which I really loved. I always thought Jack Lord was one sexy ass McGarrett. But honestly, I didn't like this version better; but I watched to see if I could recognize any of the places they filmed. Hawaii is everything!
Like Alex O"Loughlin said, his back was giving out on him, his body needed a break. Maybe it will make a few movie rounds. The Jack Lord version still ROCKS!!!

I watched the original show with my late Dad in the 60s I was very happy that a new version of 5-0 was being done. Loved the show and am sad it is over.

They messed up when they got rid of Chin Ho and Kono.
I was continually annoyed with how ridiculous these plots were, but this show entertained me for a decade and I will miss it. I watched it mostly because it was set in Hawaii, and even though there was a lot of violence, it also had a lot of lighthearted moments. I will definitely need something to fill its shoes.

one of the few who got to watch both hawaii five -o from beginning to end 68-79 2010-2020 sad to see it go, started at 14 year old up to 65 years old
This is the only show that I could say I ever loved that doesn't have some type of Supernatural, fantasy or sci-fi genre in it. so, it is a huge deal for me.
I really love it,I did not realize that I have been watching this show for 10 years. I loved every bit of it, I'm really sad to see it come to an end but the decision was based upon the main character's health problem......so if it had to end,i guess lol, this is the best reason for it.
A sad day indeed but one which was probably past due as in several ways the show had really Jumped the Shark at the end of last season. However the true star of the show was and will always be Hawaii. From first watching the show in the early 70's and then over the last 10 years it has always provided a great escape. To all the cast members I say Thank You! You will be much missed and I wish you all every future success!
On the episode when Steve was finally leaving. 5 0 that scene just broke my 💙 heart like. For real i was 😢 crying of the way Steve was hugging & saying Goodbye

Going to miss this show. I began watching Alex in Moonlight which was a great show but cancelled when they had a writer’s strike about 10 years ago. That show left us hanging big time and I wished Alex could go back and do Moonlight to finish it up. I understand he is injured but I wished McGarrett would become desk bound but lead the group and do as many episodes as the original before stopping.
Also what about stuntmen? I don't want this show to end.
Maybe its a sign of the era we're in but the original McGarrett (Jack Lord) wasn't nearly as active as McLoughlin. In fact he wore suits all the time so how active could you be in a suit? Tamper back the action and throw it to the young cast members and let McGarrett do the detective work.
@@hz7qnf Steve isn't the detective--Danny is. You can't change character personalities the way soap operas do. Sure, the original series had a less active McGarrett, but Jack Lord was 60-ish when the show started. Alex has a long time ahead of him, and his McGarrett would be miserable behind a desk.

Bella Marie yes I saw that too, where they said see you soon, like MaGaret was just going on a trip. Not like 5-0 was disbanding. Also the new Character that was introduced right at the end. That basically took over MaGaret’s spot out of nowhere. I guess well see what happens. Till then there will be something missing on tv since this show was on the majority of the time I have been a cop for the last 11.5yrs.

Really sorry that Hawaii 5-0 will finish after Season 10. We bought the whole series and have watch every episode. We even did the Hawaii 5-0 tour when we visited Hawaii - had lunch at Steve's house and sat in the beach chairs! Will really miss the show. All the best to the cast and crew for the future.

im Going To Miss This Show, For the Past 10 yrs, It has been enjoyable to watch, Every Episode was Action Packed, and The Scenes Very Beautiful To look At, On Top Of That The Cast Was Great! Im Going to Really Miss This Show and The Cast!
I was sad to see or sad to hear that Hawaii Five-0 was ending after 10 seasons. But recently watched the finale and it was an awesome finale I will forever miss the show but it has a good run.

I am EXTREMELY sad H-5.0 is gone💔 This is THE BEST of THE BEST with THE MOST AMAZING cast members I LOVE THEM ALL new & old💙 I have always loved Hawaii but this show has made me love it even more💚 You cannot get a better partnership than McDanno or a better group of people than the 5.0 Taskforce🔥 I binge watch & record every Friday for the marathons like I am a part of the Ohana🧡 Even though the show is not on anymore I am planning a trip to vacation in Hawaii thanks to these guys & who knows what I might find or who I might run into lol😉

Blue Bloods is a good show. Cannot stand the reboots of Magnum and MacGyver. I loved the originals. Totally loved Richard Dean Anderson and Tom Selleck.
Very sad to se this show end. Having watched the Original - this show provided Action, comedy, and amazing amount of loyalty (which there isn't enough of these days). Patriotism and the impact on real life (ie. Holiday episodes). These actors really clicked which made it a success. I'd love to see a come back in a year or 2 to bring back these personalities and the changes they encounter in life. Thank you. Ohana!!
