On Diadato's official channel, "Fai Rumore" got 50 million views, but on the ESC channel just 1,7 mill. (+ 1,4 mill. for the live performance in Verona). That explains why Italy 2020 is so low in this list.
Same as Germany. Violent Thing has a total of 3.8 million views but it was split into two MV.
This list is ESC though, it’s a measure of what are Eurovision fans watching on the ESC channel.
What you’re suggesting, for artists that get high own-channel views but low ESC ranking, is maybe they’re really good commercial artists but just not a good match for Eurovision.
@@mattsayer78 Don't put words in my mouth. I didn't suggest anything. It's merely an explanation to people why some fan favourites are listed lower than expected.
@@kennet7837 But it’s an ESC chart not a commercial pop-chart. Clearly they’re very very popular with their own fans, just not as popular with Eurovision fans. I like the song personally.

I didn't expect Victoria to be so low. That song is phenomenal, my number 1 of ESC 2020 and it could have won the contest, as the bookies had it on 1st place before the cancelation. Once again a proof that quality music doesn't spark as much interest and attention as the more commercial and sparkly entries.
It's not really a song you listen to every day. The top 5 are probably going to be catchy dance songs. You usually play a song over and over if it hypes you up. I personally (being Bulgarian) think that the song is gonna make me fall asleep. Most of the first places are fast songs except 2017... which I still think was a rip-off PORTUGAL 😴😴😴
