After riding the lift up right near the end of the England level, I managed to get knocked back down by an enemy kicking me, and... the lift never came down for me again! Even after I reset the game! I had to restart my save! That time, it was fortunate that the game is so short~
Far best TR game together with TRA. They should have kept improving on this further in follow-up games instead of messing up game mechanics in TRU and then switching to a female Robin Hood survival trilogy.
Legend was my first TR game after playing the Survivor trilogy first. It wasn't that hard but there's always some hilarious situations. I didn't encounter alot of bugs but there's one massive screen shake in England in the broken staircase part which sends her flying to the stars and I still wonder if that was supposed to happen. The one TR game that really tested my patience was Anniversary. Running 60 fps breaks the game so certain maneuvers that should be possible were so broken. Also, the Great Pyramid ledge pole jumping was one of my breaking points. I have never felt rage as I did in that section lol. I still thought the game was fun because the level designs were so well done and satisfying to complete.
God I hated these moments, I mean don't get me wrong I love this trilogy (Legend, Anniversary, Underworld), but sometimes the game was just blatantly unfair.
The only pain I have is on the bridge in Bolivia level 1 after the cutscene. After rutland and amanda blew up the bridge, there is always the invisible wall. Lara always let go. It's like she about to grab on then just changes her mind. I tried everything and learn that I have to die from it once, to solve the problem lol but I love this game and I will defended it until I turn blue.
The writing for Legend is top tier. We need more of it. This, pubescent hipster Lara reboot with 0 sass in her body got tiring too quickly 🤧 we want this queen back
