The rope is more in relation to the grappling hook in Worms Battleground and other in that series, than the hookshot I feel. Bouncing up and down until you accidentally let go and fling yourself or run out of time and the same happens.
6:27 preeety sure that's actually the ice key from the banjo kazooie series, the coloration matches, it has that icey crystal texture if you look at it, and it's shape even matches, including that pointed tip past the teeth, even the hole at the other end of the key matches the shape of the ice key.

2.the admin card sound was used when the leader of the toppats try to escape from henry and try to use card to use the doors. (In thr infiltrating the airship)
