Agreed. The waitress role 'female NOT love interest' character in the original had a purpose. In the new one just an awkward out of place character. The crew of thugs from the original had some interesting characters as well. This feels like when a band covers a classic song but in the effort of 'making it their own' just dumb it down to a mostly forgettable imitation
I like Jake but Patrick Swayze will always be number one. They should have called it something other than RoadHouse
Agreed, and shouldn't have called his character Dalton either. Dalton belongs to Swayze and Swayze alone.

Jake is living in and out of a quantum computer generated parallel universe simulation where he is playing Patrick movie roles and Patrick is in another parallel U playing Jake movie roles. How? Download of human consciousness is nearing possibility, but this does not explain Patrick achieving purported full simulation. Future time machine ? Neuralink? There is a developing theory of Singularity if the meet in Darko or RH. Ask Elon. The tech of Sim is you wouldn't know. You are all in Sim.

I like Jake in detective roles, but biting off more than he can chew here, you can't remake the perfect masterpiece of a movie of all time from one of the top 3 actors of all time, this will be a disappointment I dont even need to watch it
I’m sorry but this movie is just bad . Conor’s character is wayyyyyy tooo over the top it made the movie so bad . The director made some bad choices . The CGI fight scenes was cheesy . Disappointed
