the fact that he can beat axe, duck, and s2j AND bring mangos fox to last stock while playing Luigi is crazy
it’s not that he brung his fox to last stock, it’s that he did it 3 fucking times in a row.
There are too many things to love about this guy, his character, his style, his luck, his ability to summon jank, it always entertains.
P.S. Is he a Steelers fan? I remember in one tourney one of his spectators had a Roethlisberger jersey, of course, that says nothing about Abate himself.

For a run that just barely breached top 8, I really think that this could qualify for the top 20 or so most iconic runs of all time. A "low tier" character making such big waves basically out of nowhere was pretty unprecedented at the time, and especially his set against S2J was an instant classic. Always a fun tournament to come back to

I love how chaotic Luigi's movement is. You have to really know how the player manuevers to fight him.
