One of the best things about you and your videos, you actually feature and talk about the various griddles, accessories and use them. Thats not always a good thing for us viewers though as I now own two Blackstone griddles. BUT, I will highly recommend this model for many of my friends, fellow biologists and neighbors because the size is perfect for the medium griddle master.
Thanks Todd! I just ordered mine. I bought last years Black Friday special and liked it but this one will enable me to have both worlds now. I used to live in Monument about ten years ago, just up the street from the Come N Go. I had to have been real close to your house. God Bless!
Thanks for sharing Todd! Just bought two for family for Christmas! Hoping they’ll love them!
Wow, that is cool. I've used all of the 22" models over the years and this is simply the best, hands-down. I sure do appreciate you watching. Have a Merry Christmas!
@@praisehisawesomename Can’t wait to see their reactions and to watch them Give It A Try! Love your content man keep it coming! Merry Christmas brother!!
Just ordered mine!😊
Nice griddle! Like the style. Thanks for sharing it with us Todd.
Thanks, Ted! It's a nice griddle. Merry Christmas!
Nice update to the styling, and terrific that they added the 22” to the Pro series👍😊
Hi, Bobbi. I hope you have a Merry Christmas!
That 22 is beautiful. I love that the 22 was brought in to the pro series. The 22 is a work horse and does it alllllllllllll
Schmidt? THE Schmidt? Wowsers. Have a Merry Christmas, brother!
@@praisehisawesomename yes thats me, lol. And merry Christmas to you also.

Hi, David. Thanks for watching. Enjoy your new griddle. I hope you have a Merry Christmas!
Thank you I will! Merry Christmas
Love the dual shelves on the 22" PRO series! - Cheers!
Hi, Garry - I've used all the 22" models over the years and this is, hands-down, the nicest and best performing 22" griddle the company has every made. It's a thing of beauty. Have a Merry Christmas!
@@praisehisawesomename Merry Christmas to you and the family Todd - Happy hunting & Happy grilling! - Cheers!
Sweet lookin griddle Todd! Cheers to you and your family
Thank you! Merry Christmas!
Just ordered one for delivery. Will be here on Saturday.
Roy - It is sweet. I was blown away by it. I hope you enjoy yours!
Y’all need to make more of them
Awesome love the new design 😊
Hi, John. It is sweet. Thanks for watching & Merry Christmas!
Todd, thanks for all your videos. I was looking for a cover for this unit, but couldn’t find one. Does BS make a cover that will fit this new griddle?
Not Specifically for this one since it is just a special grill for black Friday and cyber Monday. I just use one of those small or medium universal covers and tie the bottom down
what are the bases on these made from? i need me a stainless steel base, every year i have to sand spots of rust and apply high heat spray paint to several areas of my stand. i live in the coastal area of NC so humidity is almost always high
One day I will own a 22” Pro. 😁
Haaaaah! It's a nice griddle!
We've used this griddler for a variety of items including steak, fish, vegetables czcams.com/users/postUgkxMcXT6_MuT0hB3ejyGQQHaeof9bwoWPUf and mushrooms and it's been great! Gets that great smokey flavor when using high heat or sear. The grill works amazingly simple and very low smoke for what it is. Heat gets up fairly quick, especially on closed position. The griddler side is fairly simple, better for eggs and pancakes rather than any cooking. Use the flat plates with the grill side if needed.Cleanup is easy and having heat on both sides is great for cooking a large amount or panini press. This definitely gets hot though so be careful with the sides.
Would this be good for a beginner griddler? Would I be wanting a larger one later? And is this easy to put together with someone like me without much mechanical aptitude!!?
Hi, Jay. Good question. That's entirely up to you. A few factors to consider...
1. How many people will you be cooking for
2. How much food you will be cooking
This griddle is incredible in that it produces a ton of heat, has a hood, has the sweet Pro Series looks but it's a 22" Griddle. If you live alone, this could be perfect for you. If it's just you and your wife, it might be great for you. If you frequently cook for 4, 5, or 6 people at a time, you're going to find it small.
The benefit of a 36" Blackstone is that you will always have plenty of room. If you're doing a large diner-style breakfast, you'll have room for pancakes, bacon, sausage, ,toast, and eggs across that griddle top. On the flip side, you'd only be able to cook all that food on the 22" if it's only just for 1 or 2 (at the most) people.
I will honestly tell you that I have heard the following statements hundreds of times over the years:
- I started with a 17" or 22" Griddle and it just wasn't big enough so I bought a 36" Griddle and now use the 17"/22" Griddle for camping, etc.
- I started with a 36" Griddle and loved it so much, I ended up buying a smaller one for the fishing camp, etc.
It goes both ways. I hope that makes sense. The 36" is the king and unless you are only cooking for yourself, you'll be happy with all that space. Having said that, I've cooked on Blackstone griddles for nearly a decade and this 22" is hands-down the best all-around 22" model that company has ever put out. You will be pleased with it.
I hope that helps!
Let me know what you decide on.
Merry Christmas!
Hey man quick question. I was about to buy a 36 inch with air fryer over at Walmart…but changed my mind due to the fact that the box looked like it had been opened and just beat up lol. Do you suggest I order directly from black stone to avoid this?
Hey there - Good question. There are nearly 5,000 Walmarts so who knows. That could have been a return/resell at that Walmart. You'll definitely get your best price at Walmart. I'd suggest, perhaps, ordering one for store pickup and getting it at another store if you want to make sure you don't get the one that's been open? If you order one from Blackstone, it's so large, it will be shipped on a pallet and your shipping will be big $$. You can double check to make sure. Let me know what you decide to do. Thanks for watching!
@@praisehisawesomename I’ll more than likely end up going to different Walmarts and seeing which one has the best inventory. The one from today only had 2, and the boxes looked like they had been through the ringer lol. I’d hate to get one and find out it’s damaged in someway, then going through the whole exchange/return process.
Thanks for the great info/content!
It’s a beaut 😍
That is cute
I noticed my flames aren’t as big, even on high. Is that normal?
Hi, Josh. Lots of questions. Understand that Blackstone has many many many models on the market. I don't know what model you're using or what your situation is not being there. Just give Customer Service (# on website) a phone call and they will be able to help get you going in the right direction!
Thank you! Sorry I meant to say I have this model in the video. I was one of the lucky ones to get this one. Haha. It got up to 550 degrees so I guess the flames are doing alright. I just figured I would see “big” flames under the cast iron
Hey all! Do the sides fold down? thank you
They do not.
You are correct. They do not. Keep in mind, it's $184. I'm pretty impressed and it doesn't take up much space but you'll have to decide if you need folding shelves.
@@praisehisawesomename you can’t beat that price!
@@praisehisawesomename thank you for replying so quickly! I know you’re crazy busy! Have a Happy Holiday!
@@thetoolman5380 I am told that 3/4 of then are sold so
They will be gone soon. Yes, indeed, it is a steal!
Can you fit the pizza oven on it?
You could in theory, but you would have to figure out if it would be worthwhile having to remove the hood and reattach it when you’re not using it. I personally would just get one of the cheap 17 inch table tops for the pizza oven.
can you hook up the pizza oven to this?
Yes you can.
You could, but I wouldn’t recommend it unless you’re going to do it permanently because you have to detach and reattach the hood every time.
@@praisehisawesomename Thanks!
@@DareDog. Thanks!
again needs to be a lot thicker gauge metal.. make it a "mans" griddle
