    You should update your review. Winkbed changed there design in January 2021. The microcoils are no more and have been replaced with SupportCell foam. The new technology of SupportCell foam makes the bed more durable and supportive (according to Winkbed Support).

    Is this review of the luxury firm or softer matress?

    Have you done a review on the Saatva bed? Wondering which sleeps cooler between the Saatva and wink. Worried that the wink beds gel layer will retain heat.

    Do you have any reviews for the Chattam & Wells collection?

    Micro coils wear at way sooner than regular length coils and since their near the top this contributes to faster wear also. What is the gauge of the coils?

    • @realmattressreviews8696
      @realmattressreviews8696  Před 8 lety

      Hi there. In my experience micro coils have pretty good resiliency. Typically where the layer of micro coils is located in this mattress there would be a fairly low density foam to give it the right feel-lower density foams will break down and sag faster. The coils tend to maintain better bounce and support over time. The micro coil gauge is one thing that was not on the spec sheet. I sent the owners of WinkBeds a message and I'll follow up as soon I hear from them.

    I'm thinking of one of these Winkbed...mainly the Plus model for the firmness. I'm use to sleeping on a Tempur-Pedic® in Firm. I weight 325lbs, and I'm just worried this might be too firm since I'm a side sleeper and could give me shoulder pain. What do you think? Great review.

      Um, its really hard to say since I have not felt you tempur. For your weight I'd say it should be good but everyone is so different. The nice thing is you'll have that trial as well. Thanks for the kind words, sorry this wasn't much help!

      Did you end up staying with your Tempurpedic or did you get the Plus Winkbed?

    • @flexnix
      @flexnix Před 4 lety

      @@MrRgmralph Yes I did. I'm actually going to purchase another Tempur-pedic. I recommend always going with the firm. Last longer for us heavy guys.

    which mattress did you think was more luxurious and supportive wink or saatva?

    • @realmattressreviews8696
      @realmattressreviews8696  Před 7 lety

      So I think they are both good in those areas. The Saatva being the thickest one we have reviewed made it have a little more wow factor but if you look at feel, longevity and that type of thing I think they will be about the same. Saatvas price makes it attractive for how much mattress is really there as well. I liked both, and compared to many bed in a box options there's really no comparison. These are bigger and better than a lot of online choices

    I am stuck between Purple and Winkbed. I am a side sleeper and wake up with shoulder pain almost every morning. What is your opinion on these 2? Which one would you give the upper hand to and why? Thanks... Chris.

    • @realmattressreviews8696
      @realmattressreviews8696  Před 7 lety

      Hi Chris, they are two very different mattresses.. Winkbeds is going to be almost 6 inches thicker and use a more traditional mattress design with coils, micro coils and comfort foams where purple will have a foam core and the hyper elastic grid layer on top which I'm sure you read all about if you're considering it. Both are going to be better for different people depending on your needs. What is your weight?

      Real Mattress Reviews 225lbs overweight. I am also assuming none of these 2 mattresses have latex, the wife is allergic. Just want the best pressure relief.

    This or novosbed? I am 125 pounds previously had pillowtop mattess i really liked, want a plush top with good support in the bottom...have the leesa it is too firm for me, and I am a side sleeper and need really good pressure relief without comprimising spine alignment, what do you recommend?

    • @realmattressreviews8696
      @realmattressreviews8696  Před 7 lety

      Hi! So if you feel that the Leesa is too firm I would go with Novosbed over over winkbed. I think Winkbed won't be much softer than Leesa. The perk on the Novosbed is if you for instance order the medium and its too firm you can pop the extra 2" on with their comfort kit and soften it up. If you think Leesa is firm you may want to order the softest Novosbed. If you find us helpful use our link and promos when you buy ;) Also, keep the questions coming if you have them. Thanks for watching!

    when it comes to spring hybrid mattresses , do you think you benefit more from a latex/foam combo or a few layers of latex only on top of the spring base?

    • @realmattressreviews8696
      @realmattressreviews8696  Před 7 lety +1

      So it really depends on the feel you are looking for. In terms of longevity all latex could hpld up better but its not always the feel everyone likes. Sometimes having transition layers in there provides an alternate feel that people may like better.

      Mattress Insiders im really looking for comfort, trying to find the best spring latex foam combo, any suggestions?

    • @realmattressreviews8696
      @realmattressreviews8696  Před 7 lety +1

      One of the best I have reviewed in that area would be the Avocado. Its all natural and another feature that is great you don't see very often online is that's its button tufted. This adds a lot of durability and prevents the layers from shifting.

    • @mr.sourcreamsupreme2180
      @mr.sourcreamsupreme2180 Před 7 lety

      Mattress Insiders but there's really no foam in the avocado right? Do you think the viola mattress is equal in quality to the winkbed and saatva?

    • @realmattressreviews8696
      @realmattressreviews8696  Před 7 lety

      Jon Bogaard avocado uses natural latex about the coil system. The pillowtop has a lot of latex. But yes voila is built really week from a company that's made mattresses for a long time. It's a good quality

      Mattress Insiders Hi thank you for responding I weigh currently because I'm sick about 125 I'm 5-5 I like sort of firm but not too firm love inner springs thanks will ve a queen two people she's about 165, which is a better deal for money. it rather which gives more for the cost

      You're talking $151 difference after you add shipping to Saatva and take the discount off Winkbeds from our site. SO its not too much of a difference. Both have good motion reduction. I think the Saatva in the thick option is a little thicker than winkbeds but not everyone wants a thick mattress. This one is really tough for me to say which is better. I don't think you can go wrong with either option. Grab our coupons off the site if you decide to pull the trigger. The nice thing is both have great customer service so if you try one and its not right for you at least you have the trial and a good company to work with.

    I'm torn between the nest Alexander hybrid and this wink bed. I want something soft but not too soft. I want a little sink to contour my body but too much where my legs are higher than my head. I'm a side and back sleeper. I'm looking that keeps cool as well as back support. I suffer from back pain. I'm on my feet all day and my back is curvy that I can put a pillow under it. What mattress would you recommend please?

    • @realmattressreviews8696
      @realmattressreviews8696  Před 7 lety +4

      ShoppingBunny hi!!! So between the two the Alexander will be softer and in my opinion better for side sleeping. You'll sink a bit more on the Alexander as well if that's what you're looking for. Fire me more questions if you have them. If you want to support us use our promo codes and links too ;) thanks so much for watching our reviews
