Get out of your little world to realize that there are people who still read and write in Sanskrit, even though the number of people using it for daily communication are very hard to find. Our Hindu literature is enough reason to start learning Sanskrit. In ancient India, each family was holding a unique position in the village. So the progeny of someone had to hold the position of his father. Also the education was family based. Whenever any Sudra showed talent he was rewarded. Aryabhatta was a Sudra, so was Valmiki.
Nope. Aryabhata was most probably a Brahman, based on the -bhat suffix. Maharshi Valmiki was the son of Rishi Pracheta. Valmiki was abducted by a Bhil woman and raised by her. This is why many believe he was a Shudra. Of course there was a lot of Ambedkarite propaganda involved.
Respected Sir, If you study the life history of Maharshi Valmiki, you will find Maharshi Valmiki was born as Agni Sharma, a Brahmin by birth. Later on under the guidance of his Narada he went on severe penance and elevated himself to the pedestal of Maharshi and became "Adi Kabi", the first poet of universe.

I feel compelled by some force to answer the question on Shudras.. lot of heated comments will ensue but I offer it to the feet of my Guru and Vinayaka who removes all obstacles How should a man be respected or treated ? Analyse the following qualities in the given order: 1. By Gnana 2. By Guna 3. By lineage (or Jati) 4. By Age or Aayu 5. By his material posessions Today we do the exact opposite and consider the rich and famous men to be ideals of society. Last 2, Age and material possessions can be seen. First 2, Gnana and Guna cannot be seen directly. Jati or lineage which is in between is partially seen and partially unseen. So let me explain one by one: 1. Gnana - Experience of truth is Supreme , when a chandala(considered below Shudra) had Brahma Gnan even Adi shankara saluted him with Manisha Panchakam 2.Guna - A sattvic person should be respected even if he is a Shudra, women or anyone. Qualities like speaking truth, tolerance etc. should be respected and one can go to him to solve spiritual problems. Even a brahmin may approach a Shudra if he has knowledge, Manusmriti allows this, and infact says ask Shudras and women in fields where they have knowledge. 3. Lineage - The seen part is who is father, grand father etc. i.e. Shudra, Vaishya, Kshatriya etc. This lineage gives the man an occupation. When an unknown person comes to a village and the village realises his father was a charitable man of the same village, then they immediately respect the person due to his lineage. This is the seen aspect of Jati. Any man who sticks to the profession of his lineage becomes capable to understand deeper truths, and in reality only if he is evolved and has good gunas he will stick to profession of his lienage and will not care if he gets respect or not out of profession. Profession is maya just a tool to reach divinity. Respect for profession is considered by only worldly people. A true sculptor or potter will speak with pride that since so many generations they have been sculptors or potters. That so and so King or temple etc. have been traditionally using their services. The unseen part is karma phala of the person and the karma phala of his lineage. Manu says a boy born out of Brahmin-Kshatriya union can have 2 castes. If to a legal marriage then higher caste(in between Brahmin and Kshatriya) who can give discourses on Puranas or a lower caste(below Kshatriya as a Charioteer) if out of adultery. Both are called Suta but the actions of ancestors will affect the caste of birth. So actions of all the ancestors upto Narayana go into deciding a Jati of a man. Most importantly 7 ancestors on father's side and 3 ancestors on mother's side have an affect on the Jati. So Jati or lineage falls or raises depending upon actions of ancestors. Rakshasa Jati was born out of Prajapati when his wife touched Prajapati during sandhya kaal which is a prohibited time. So all their lineages become Rakshasa. But Prahalada was also born as a Rakshasa but due to his Gnana and guna he was held in high regard. Similarly many shudras who were born due to Karma phala in lower Jatis of Shudras etc. have been given high statuses in Mahabharata, puranas etc. So many Nayanmars and Alwazhs of lower jatis have been given high statuses by Brahmiins of those time. As profession is decided by Jati, the gunavaan shudras by their own nature distanced themselves from Vedic learning, but they were allowed to know the meaning and purport of Vedas. The Vedic Gurukulas were open to Shudras esp. in the afternoon to clarify doubts on Vedic understanding. A shudra who renders selfless service of cleaning a village but never enters the temple attains the same loka which the brahmin reaches by offering worship standing near the deity in temple, so say shastras. Professions may be different but the final result is same(Those who are destined by karma phala will understand this rest will understand when time is right. There are so many benefits of this system in social, scientific, and spiritual planes that cannot be fathomed by ordinary individuals like us) 4. Age : We have always been told to respect aged people. But if a young Gnani or a young charitable person or a young boy in the lineage of King or Charitable lineage is seen, even elderly people pay their respects. So age comes after Gnana,, Guna and Jati. 5. Material possessions: Material possessions is not just money, fame, vehicles etc. It includes physical posessions like beauty, physique, and intellect. So a beautiful women is respected but that is the last quality to be seen. If an extraordinarily intelligent man doesn't have gunas of tolerance etc. then he need not be given respect. If by fortune(i.e. purva karma phala) a non-mature man is born in a high lineage like Ashwathama was from Brahmin lineage, he is respected only as long as he is not affecting the society and not dis respecting any one. A Brahmin who doesn't have any Brahmin gunas, or gnana etc is unfit to do yagnas or recieve dana and can be banished from society. But he is not given capital punishment because being the highest among Jati, his purva karma phala which made him brahmin can anytime make him or his progeny illustrious. So Ashwathama due to karma phala will do tapas in his later age and is said will be one of the sapta rishis in next kalpa. So not giving him capital punishment by Pandavas gets justified, but was not justified when he killed upa pandavas. Also the progeny will have influences of 7 generations so the progeny by his tapas can over-compensate the destruction brought by his father. All this is too difficult to understand, when a Shudra is compared to a dead man it refers to that Shudra who had absolutely no punya to be born in higher caste. At the same time he has experienced all his papa phala in some animal or other births and is forced to be born as a man to accumulate new karma phalas. Generally human births(rarely higher births like Devas) happen once every 7 births, all in between births of insects to animals to Swarga births are for fulfilling papa and punya karma phalas. Phew!!! never wanted to write any explanation here, but if it helps anyone understand Sanatana Dharma, you are indeed fortunate.
lzydwg Very wrong example setting. Do not follow ambedkar who knew nothing. You can be a doctor even if you don't have parents as doctors. And it's not forcing an occupation Brahman and other varna are not occupations. They are embodiment of all qualities failing of which you lose that varna. Like a brahman eating non veg kr drinking then he becomes shudra Yes a child norm in brahman family or other family will be automatically assigned that varna , that is reflex action. But , the vedas say , if he has qualities of other varna , he should be of that varna Also the qualities are not mutually exclusive. A shudra can also learn medicine , go to pubs etc. However he will not be allowed temple rituals or other brahmanical qualities. However entry into temples is unrestricted , in front of God for devotion all are same. Given in vedas so don't say we are not allowed.

Sage Narada was a servants son but uplifted himself to brahma-putra status and devarishi status in the next birth, by his service to sants in his previous birth. Unless one gives up ego, jealousy, greed etc no knowledge is possible. Hence service to Gurus, service to those who have more tapas, more spirituality, more knowledge etc is prescribed for many births, to get rid of hard to overcome vaasanas and inner negatives. Service to those who consumed so less(and did upavas etc) and spread blessings is the easiest. If one want to become a brahmana (which is by birth not as arya samaj interprets, and this derivation of meaning is there in vyakarana)) we should go step by step and increase our tapas, reduce our bhog, desire and increase thirst for shastra knowledge, bhagawad upasanaa in a committed way etc in this birth. Trying to usurp others rights without being qualified for it will result in confused personalities in the society, and will not benefit the individual in anyway. He will be a MItyaachaari.

The shastras that dictate sewa to swamies (wife to husband, son to father, youngsters to elders, shudras -and even kings- to brahmanas) , also dictates that the swamies protect the sewaks, make sure they are fed well and their needs taken care of etc. This was followed until invaders made the swamies poor by overtaxing and looting. Because of this generosity of swamies , shudras and other sewaks maintained the order and loyalty to their swamies and were never unhappy. When a group of people have to achieve a work together, somebody has to lead and somebody has to follow. This is still there and we accept even unqualified people as boss these days, in the name of reservation. We dont question that. According to Rishies , who were father of all people and even animals, the particular shareeram and the subsequent adhikara is obtained through swadharma and other punya karmas and tapas in the previous birth. So jaati based physical differences do exist and we have to accept that. Especially if we want the benefits from the yajnas and devatas, we have to follow these rules. If we want only moksha alone, no need for any difference. People who question should decide what they want. All plants are divine(and hence nurtured), but what is taken as medicine depends on ones disease! Do rishies need to study the student for years to understand him? They know instantly- not even that- they know beforehand who is going to come to them. Did not Govinda bhagawadpada wait for Acharya's arrival?Jaati has to be accepted as divine and a great prasad-an opportunity to serve dharmic soceity, and to unite as larger group with bandhus and achieve professional success. The so called free india, looted the properites of hindu landlords, kshatriya kings etc and limited the land ownership. Now all adharmic elements, thieves and politicians own majority of the country as also foreign religious institutes and businesses. We are still questioning Brahmanas authority, majority of whom are still so poor, and did not accumulate even in times when the soceity laid down everything at their feet. By questioning dharmic authority, we have fallen slaves to adharmic authority- merely out of jealousy about our brethren and our neighbours. One should learn manusmriti from guru parampara, in its entirety, with knowledge of sanskrit, with proper respect of rishies. Otherwise shastras will never reveal themselves for our upliftment, rather they will end up destroying those who approach them with jealousy and doubt.

Amith Sharma ji bolte hain ki Dwaraka shankar peeth ka pratham shakaracharya was - Sureshwaracharya. I think this is not correct. Sureshwaracharya was the 1st shankaracharya of Sringeri. A temple has been dedicated to him in Sringeri and can be seen even today. Sureshwaracharya was Mandana Mishra before Sanyasa. His wife (Bharati devi) is the deity Sharadadevi in Sringeri..

वर्ण व्यवस्था जन्म से नहीं गुण, कर्म , स्वभाव और योग्यता पर आधारित है।ब्राह्मणक्षत्रियविशां शूद्राणां च परन्तप। कर्माणि प्रविभक्तानि स्वभावप्रभवैर्गुणैः॥ गीता18.41 हे परंतप! ब्राह्मण, क्षत्रिय और वैश्यों के तथा शूद्रों के कर्म स्वभाव से उत्पन्न गुणों द्वारा विभक्त किए गए हैं। यहां श्री कृष्ण ने गुण, कर्म का जिक्र किया ना कि जन्म का महाशय। नाम के आगे दुबे लगा लेने से कोई ब्राह्मण नहीं हो जाता, जिसके पास ज्ञान, वैराग्य , ब्रह्मचर्य, अपरिग्रह जैसे गुण हैं वह ब्राह्मण हैं चाहे वह कोई भी हो।
बिल्कुल कर्म के आधार पर ही था आप श्लोक देखें । जन्मना जायते शुद्र: संस्करात द्विज उचयते अर्थात जन्म से हर कोई शुद्र होता है कर्म और संस्कार से लोगों की वर्ण निर्धारित होता है।

Jagannath temple is built in 1200 AD. Prior to that there we no Jagannath. . Adi Shankar ji was either from 800 AD or 507 BC. Then how come Adi Shankar ji protected and established a math named Govardhan Math. Something is not correct. Kindly help.

Cows dogs trees fruits rice varieties everywhere so many unique varieties, that are pure breed and whose dharma or characteristics and best uses for larger good is well recorded and applied in life. Any mixing contaminates the original characteristic dharma and makes it non-understandble and thus useless. In fact we now know that the GMO seeds should be kept far away lest they contaminate all original pure seeds. It is the way of nature. Nature should preserved, respected, studied, understood, used and nurtured. This is sanatana dharma. Humans also come in many varieties and capabilities. Like Angrezies are mostly full of arrogance , greed and ignorance. Exceptions will be there everywhere but all studies are based on generality rather than exception. Shudras were not achuts. They are very much part of vaidika dharma and have done punyam to be born in varnashrama dharma. This new propaganda is shocking and no doubt is for converting them to christianity. Shudras were rich, well- to-do, mostly landlords who funded many a dharmic act. They are quite knowledgeable in purana itihasas and everyday niyamas. shudras also had option to study sanskrit and kalas through gurukulams. Many old books written in Tamil Nadu also, by Shudra scholars(often translations of sanskrit texts into vernacular), mention their brahmin gurus, available in archive and digital library now. Most ancient temples were built by kshatriyas, funded by vaishyas, poojas yajnas etc done by brahmanas, and dharmakarthas or in-charge were shudras. In Bali , the shudras proudly introduce themselves as shudras. Hope in India also shudras will start feeling proud of themselves for what their kula dharma is, without comparing or denouncing others. Brahmanas lived a simple life on charity mostly, followed ahmisa and satyam, and never killed anyone, unlike the religious leaders of the major abrahamic religions of the west, who butchered all native scholars and those who didn't agree with them. (In all christian and muslim countries, no other culture , religion etc exists, no other knowledge system. Completely eradicated and even today the very small minority that practices traces of old culture, are in hiding as they have no real freedom in society and are derogatorily called witches, pagans etc. Salem witchhunt in USA an example. Even in the modern USA, hindus are prevented from having rangoli in front of house, lighting diwali lamps, wearing tilak or indian dress etc by subtle means) Everybody should respect the profession given to them as kula dharma and not covet or feel jealous about others. Brahmanas are superior birth because of the fact they are capable of vratas upavasas, simplicity, learning, living on charity and above all protecting vedas dharma and temples under all circumstances, even though they were butchered by all enemies starting from rakshasas to all invaders such as muslims, portugese etc. The respect given is for their veda mantras(thus the devatas) in their body. The very presence of a brahmana(aura) can bring peace and good to others. Anybody can become a brahmana in the next janma. We get what we want by earning punyam, and by tapas. The word Swarga in sanskrit means that which is earned by great punyam. Not heaven granted by merely changing God's name! Adivasies and hill people are not achuts but they are different culture and not naagarikas like hindu village people.(such people exist all over the world , not wanting to leave forests) They follow a close to nature life and hindu kingdoms never encroached their way of life. Neither did they want to come and live in towns. They are happy where they are. Now missionaries are brainwashing them and sending to government jobs under the reservation scheme, with the express purpose of occupying their lands and forests as these people leave for towns. Already in the name of churches they have occupied lots of lands. Each varna protected the society in a unique way. Brahmanas by their mantra shakthi and vedas. Vedas cannot be studied by others, it is the only property of brahmanas and they are endowed with the ability to learn quickly, memorize, retain and pronounce perfectly as well as follow the million niyamas and upavasa associated with their application. Their body is made with those unique features and devatas only accept the havis given by them. This mantra shakti can be preserved only by extreme cleanliness, not coming into contact with any less spiritual aura etc. They typically dont touch each other even within families, not eat randomly even in other brahamana houses. If this order is disturbed , the whole society stands to loose protection through mantras and yajnas, as it has started happening now. Christians wantonly take people with no spirituality to every theertha during kumbhamela etc and make them fall on sadhus and sanyasies, who should not be touched by a brahmana also. They are harming themselves in the process. We have lost this knowledge of the science of aura tapas etc, though the power of meditation chant etc have been well researched by western universities. There is a HIndu city in USA(run by white hindus) but nowhere in India ! Most living beings, including rakshasas, snakes birds etc were procreated by Rishis as also the vaishyas and shudras. But brahmanas were procreated for the purpose of keeping up rishi dharma and vedas. Though all are children of same root, each one's purpose is different. When dharma was strictly followed in Bharat, when an individual committed a grave sin or paapam, that cannot be remedied by praayashchitta, such violators were excommunicated from their jati (they could be brahmana, vaishya, kshatriya , shudra whatever)and made to live outside village limits, though not deprived of housing lands cattle etc. Society was strict in dharma in those days and hence prosperous. Today all have lost the knowledge of what is dharma also. Please stop this false propaganda valmiki was shudra etc etc. Valmiki himself states that he is prachetasa and Bhargava. Everybody should be proud of their own kulam be it shudra vaishya whatever and be proud of the committed service given to society by their ancestors. Let them not seek pride by claiming wrong things such as aryabhatta was shudra etc. That is an indication of lack of pride as well as jealousy, that does not exist in shudras, but is being created by christians.

In ancient India, each family was holding a unique position in the village. So the progeny of someone had to hold the position of his father. Also the education was family based. Whenever any Sudra showed talent he was rewarded. Aryabhatta was a Sudra, so was Valmiki.

Nope. Aryabhata was most probably a Brahman, based on the -bhat suffix. Maharshi Valmiki was the son of Rishi Pracheta. Valmiki was abducted by a Bhil woman and raised by her. This is why many believe he was a Shudra. Of course there was a lot of Ambedkarite propaganda involved.

Respected Sir, If you study the life history of Maharshi Valmiki, you will find Maharshi Valmiki was born as Agni Sharma, a Brahmin by birth. I feel compelled by some force to answer the question on Shudras.. lot of heated comments will ensue but I offer it to the feet of my Guru and Vinayaka who removes all obstacles
How should a man be respected or treated ?
Analyse the following qualities in the given order:
1. By Gnana
2. By Guna
3. By lineage (or Jati)
4. By Age or Aayu
5. By his material posessions
Today we do the exact opposite and consider the rich and famous men to be ideals of society. Last 2, Age and material possessions can be seen. First 2, Gnana and Guna cannot be seen directly. Jati or lineage which is in between is partially seen and partially unseen. So let me explain one by one:
1. Gnana - Experience of truth is Supreme , when a chandala(considered below Shudra) had Brahma Gnan even Adi shankara saluted him with Manisha Panchakam
2.Guna - A sattvic person should be respected even if he is a Shudra, women or anyone. Qualities like speaking truth, tolerance etc. should be respected and one can go to him to solve spiritual problems. Even a brahmin may approach a Shudra if he has knowledge, Manusmriti allows this, and infact says ask Shudras and women in fields where they have knowledge.
3. Lineage - The seen part is who is father, grand father etc. i.e. Shudra, Vaishya, Kshatriya etc. This lineage gives the man an occupation. When an unknown person comes to a village and the village realises his father was a charitable man of the same village, then they immediately respect the person due to his lineage. This is the seen aspect of Jati. Any man who sticks to the profession of his lineage becomes capable to understand deeper truths, and in reality only if he is evolved and has good gunas he will stick to profession of his lienage and will not care if he gets respect or not out of profession. Profession is maya just a tool to reach divinity. Respect for profession is considered by only worldly people. A true sculptor or potter will speak with pride that since so many generations they have been sculptors or potters. That so and so King or temple etc. have been traditionally using their services.
The unseen part is karma phala of the person and the karma phala of his lineage. Manu says a boy born out of Brahmin-Kshatriya union can have 2 castes. If to a legal marriage then higher caste(in between Brahmin and Kshatriya) who can give discourses on Puranas or a lower caste(below Kshatriya as a Charioteer) if out of adultery. Both are called Suta but the actions of ancestors will affect the caste of birth. So actions of all the ancestors upto Narayana go into deciding a Jati of a man. Most importantly 7 ancestors on father's side and 3 ancestors on mother's side have an affect on the Jati. So Jati or lineage falls or raises depending upon actions of ancestors. Rakshasa Jati was born out of Prajapati when his wife touched Prajapati during sandhya kaal which is a prohibited time. So all their lineages become Rakshasa. But Prahalada was also born as a Rakshasa but due to his Gnana and guna he was held in high regard. Similarly many shudras who were born due to Karma phala in lower Jatis of Shudras etc. have been given high statuses in Mahabharata, puranas etc. So many Nayanmars and Alwazhs of lower jatis have been given high statuses by Brahmiins of those time. As profession is decided by Jati, the gunavaan shudras by their own nature distanced themselves from Vedic learning, but they were allowed to know the meaning and purport of Vedas. The Vedic Gurukulas were open to Shudras esp. in the afternoon to clarify doubts on Vedic understanding. A shudra who renders selfless service of cleaning a village but never enters the temple attains the same loka which the brahmin reaches by offering worship standing near the deity in temple, so say shastras. Professions may be different but the final result is same(Those who are destined by karma phala will understand this rest will understand when time is right. There are so many benefits of this system in social, scientific, and spiritual planes that cannot be fathomed by ordinary individuals like us)
4. Age : We have always been told to respect aged people. But if a young Gnani or a young charitable person or a young boy in the lineage of King or Charitable lineage is seen, even elderly people pay their respects. So age comes after Gnana,, Guna and Jati.
5. Material possessions: Material possessions is not just money, fame, vehicles etc. It includes physical posessions like beauty, physique, and intellect. So a beautiful women is respected but that is the last quality to be seen.
If an extraordinarily intelligent man doesn't have gunas of tolerance etc. then he need not be given respect. If by fortune(i.e. purva karma phala) a non-mature man is born in a high lineage like Ashwathama was from Brahmin lineage, he is respected only as long as he is not affecting the society and not dis respecting any one. A Brahmin who doesn't have any Brahmin gunas, or gnana etc is unfit to do yagnas or recieve dana and can be banished from society. But he is not given capital punishment because being the highest among Jati, his purva karma phala which made him brahmin can anytime make him or his progeny illustrious. So Ashwathama due to karma phala will do tapas in his later age and is said will be one of the sapta rishis in next kalpa. So not giving him capital punishment by Pandavas gets justified, but was not justified when he killed upa pandavas. Also the progeny will have influences of 7 generations so the progeny by his tapas can over-compensate the destruction brought by his father.
All this is too difficult to understand, when a Shudra is compared to a dead man it refers to that Shudra who had absolutely no punya to be born in higher caste. At the same time he has experienced all his papa phala in some animal or other births and is forced to be born as a man to accumulate new karma phalas. Generally human births(rarely higher births like Devas) happen once every 7 births, all in between births of insects to animals to Swarga births are for fulfilling papa and punya karma phalas.
Phew!!! never wanted to write any explanation here, but if it helps anyone understand Sanatana Dharma, you are indeed fortunate.

Yes a child norm in brahman family or other family will be automatically assigned that varna , that is reflex action. But , the vedas say , if he has qualities of other varna , he should be of that varna
Also the qualities are not mutually exclusive. A shudra can also learn medicine , go to pubs etc. However he will not be allowed temple rituals or other brahmanical qualities. However entry into temples is unrestricted , in front of God for devotion all are same. Given in vedas so don't say we are not allowed.

Sage Narada was a servants son but uplifted himself to brahma-putra status and devarishi status in the next birth, by his service to sants in his previous birth. Unless one gives up ego, jealousy, greed etc no knowledge is possible. Hence service to Gurus, service to those who have more tapas, more spirituality, more knowledge etc is prescribed for many births, to get rid of hard to overcome vaasanas and inner negatives. Service to those who consumed so less(and did upavas etc) and spread blessings is the easiest. If one want to become a brahmana (which is by birth not as arya samaj interprets, and this derivation of meaning is there in vyakarana)) we should go step by step and increase our tapas, reduce our bhog, desire and increase thirst for shastra knowledge, bhagawad upasanaa in a committed way etc in this birth.
Trying to usurp others rights without being qualified for it will result in confused personalities in the society, and will not benefit the individual in anyway. He will be a MItyaachaari.

The shastras that dictate sewa to swamies (wife to husband, son to father, youngsters to elders, shudras -and even kings- to brahmanas) , also dictates that the swamies protect the sewaks, make sure they are fed well and their needs taken care of etc. This was followed until invaders made the swamies poor by overtaxing and looting. Because of this generosity of swamies , shudras and other sewaks maintained the order and loyalty to their swamies and were never unhappy. When a group of people have to achieve a work together, somebody has to lead and somebody has to follow. This is still there and we accept even unqualified people as boss these days, in the name of reservation. We dont question that. According to Rishies , who were father of all people and even animals, the particular shareeram and the subsequent adhikara is obtained through swadharma and other punya karmas and tapas in the previous birth. So jaati based physical differences do exist and we have to accept that. Especially if we want the benefits from the yajnas and devatas, we have to follow these rules. If we want only moksha alone, no need for any difference. People who question should decide what they want. All plants are divine(and hence nurtured), but what is taken as medicine depends on ones disease!
Do rishies need to study the student for years to understand him? They know instantly- not even that- they know beforehand who is going to come to them. Did not Govinda bhagawadpada wait for Acharya's arrival?Jaati has to be accepted as divine and a great prasad-an opportunity to serve dharmic soceity, and to unite as larger group with bandhus and achieve professional success. The so called free india, looted the properites of hindu landlords, kshatriya kings etc and limited the land ownership. Now all adharmic elements, thieves and politicians own majority of the country as also foreign religious institutes and businesses. We are still questioning Brahmanas authority, majority of whom are still so poor, and did not accumulate even in times when the soceity laid down everything at their feet. By questioning dharmic authority, we have fallen slaves to adharmic authority- merely out of jealousy about our brethren and our neighbours.
One should learn manusmriti from guru parampara, in its entirety, with knowledge of sanskrit, with proper respect of rishies. Otherwise shastras will never reveal themselves for our upliftment, rather they will end up destroying those who approach them with jealousy and doubt.

I think this is not correct. Sureshwaracharya was the 1st shankaracharya of Sringeri. A temple has been dedicated to him in Sringeri and can be seen even today.
Sureshwaracharya was Mandana Mishra before Sanyasa. His wife (Bharati devi) is the deity Sharadadevi in Sringeri..

यहां श्री कृष्ण ने गुण, कर्म का जिक्र किया ना कि जन्म का महाशय। नाम के आगे दुबे लगा लेने से कोई ब्राह्मण नहीं हो जाता, जिसके पास ज्ञान, वैराग्य , ब्रह्मचर्य, अपरिग्रह जैसे गुण हैं वह ब्राह्मण हैं चाहे वह कोई भी हो।
बिल्कुल कर्म के आधार पर ही था आप श्लोक देखें ।
जन्मना जायते शुद्र:

अर्थात जन्म से हर कोई शुद्र होता है

Jagannath temple is built in 1200 AD. Prior to that there we no Jagannath. . Adi Shankar ji was either from 800 AD or 507 BC. Then how come Adi Shankar ji protected and established a math named Govardhan Math.

Unity in diversity is sanatan dharma. Not Mcdonalds fast food everywhere.
We have protected the swadharma of millions of varieties of lives, without varna sankara(mixing). 300 varieties of tulasi plant alone. Any number os mangoes and bananas. Cows dogs trees fruits rice varieties everywhere so many unique varieties, that are pure breed and whose dharma or characteristics and best uses for larger good is well recorded and applied in life. Any mixing contaminates the original characteristic dharma and makes it non-understandble and thus useless. In fact we now know that the GMO seeds should be kept far away lest they contaminate all original pure seeds. It is the way of nature. Nature should preserved, respected, studied, understood, used and nurtured. This is sanatana dharma.
Humans also come in many varieties and capabilities. Like Angrezies are mostly full of arrogance , greed and ignorance. Exceptions will be there everywhere but all studies are based on generality rather than exception. Shudras were not achuts. They are very much part of vaidika dharma and have done punyam to be born in varnashrama dharma. This new propaganda is shocking and no doubt is for converting them to christianity. Shudras were rich, well- to-do, mostly landlords who funded many a dharmic act. They are quite knowledgeable in purana itihasas and everyday niyamas. shudras also had option to study sanskrit and kalas through gurukulams. Many old books written in Tamil Nadu also, by Shudra scholars(often translations of sanskrit texts into vernacular), mention their brahmin gurus, available in archive and digital library now. Most ancient temples were built by kshatriyas, funded by vaishyas, poojas yajnas etc done by brahmanas, and dharmakarthas or in-charge were shudras. In Bali , the shudras proudly introduce themselves as shudras. Hope in India also shudras will start feeling proud of themselves for what their kula dharma is, without comparing or denouncing others. Brahmanas lived a simple life on charity mostly, followed ahmisa and satyam, and never killed anyone, unlike the religious leaders of the major abrahamic religions of the west, who butchered all native scholars and those who didn't agree with them. (In all christian and muslim countries, no other culture , religion etc exists, no other knowledge system. Completely eradicated and even today the very small minority that practices traces of old culture, are in hiding as they have no real freedom in society and are derogatorily called witches, pagans etc. Salem witchhunt in USA an example. Even in the modern USA, hindus are prevented from having rangoli in front of house, lighting diwali lamps, wearing tilak or indian dress etc by subtle means)
Everybody should respect the profession given to them as kula dharma and not covet or feel jealous about others. Brahmanas are superior birth because of the fact they are capable of vratas upavasas, simplicity, learning, living on charity and above all protecting vedas dharma and temples under all circumstances, even though they were butchered by all enemies starting from rakshasas to all invaders such as muslims, portugese etc. The respect given is for their veda mantras(thus the devatas) in their body. The very presence of a brahmana(aura) can bring peace and good to others.
Anybody can become a brahmana in the next janma. We get what we want by earning punyam, and by tapas. The word Swarga in sanskrit means that which is earned by great punyam. Not heaven granted by merely changing God's name!
Adivasies and hill people are not achuts but they are different culture and not naagarikas like hindu village people.(such people exist all over the world , not wanting to leave forests) They follow a close to nature life and hindu kingdoms never encroached their way of life. Neither did they want to come and live in towns. They are happy where they are. Now missionaries are brainwashing them and sending to government jobs under the reservation scheme, with the express purpose of occupying their lands and forests as these people leave for towns. Already in the name of churches they have occupied lots of lands.
Each varna protected the society in a unique way. Brahmanas by their mantra shakthi and vedas. Vedas cannot be studied by others, it is the only property of brahmanas and they are endowed with the ability to learn quickly, memorize, retain and pronounce perfectly as well as follow the million niyamas and upavasa associated with their application. Their body is made with those unique features and devatas only accept the havis given by them. This mantra shakti can be preserved only by extreme cleanliness, not coming into contact with any less spiritual aura etc. They typically dont touch each other even within families, not eat randomly even in other brahamana houses. If this order is disturbed , the whole society stands to loose protection through mantras and yajnas, as it has started happening now. Christians wantonly take people with no spirituality to every theertha during kumbhamela etc and make them fall on sadhus and sanyasies, who should not be touched by a brahmana also. They are harming themselves in the process. We have lost this knowledge of the science of aura tapas etc, though the power of meditation chant etc have been well researched by western universities. There is a HIndu city in USA(run by white hindus) but nowhere in India !
Most living beings, including rakshasas, snakes birds etc were procreated by Rishis as also the vaishyas and shudras. But brahmanas were procreated for the purpose of keeping up rishi dharma and vedas. Though all are children of same root, each one's purpose is different.
When dharma was strictly followed in Bharat, when an individual committed a grave sin or paapam, that cannot be remedied by praayashchitta, such violators were excommunicated from their jati (they could be brahmana, vaishya, kshatriya , shudra whatever)and made to live outside village limits, though not deprived of housing lands cattle etc. Society was strict in dharma in those days and hence prosperous. Today all have lost the knowledge of what is dharma also.
Please stop this false propaganda valmiki was shudra etc etc. Valmiki himself states that he is prachetasa and Bhargava. Everybody should be proud of their own kulam be it shudra vaishya whatever and be proud of the committed service given to society by their ancestors. Let them not seek pride by claiming wrong things such as aryabhatta was shudra etc. That is an indication of lack of pride as well as jealousy, that does not exist in shudras, but is being created by christians.
Well said. All varnas were equal with no friction. Envy and friction were created by Breaking India forces to defeat and destroy Sanatan Dharma by coversion.
