How can I disable the second screen/projector ? on windows is a shortcut ''alt''+''p'' and you can choose to disconnect or mirror or some other options. I don't want to just plug it out. Is there a shortcut for OS X? Please let me know if you know. Thanks

The attached photo is of the projector projecting onto my white closet doors. I still have not messed with the settings but I can't wait for our first family movie night on a larger scale. If you have issues with volume not working with your firestick, go into volume settings and you will find your solution there.
I am having problems hooking up my macbook pro to a projector. They won't sync at all. I followed all the instructions here - did not sync at all. I wish you had some problem solving tips that helped me solve this problem. Unfortunately, your instructions did not help me at all.

It does work with HDMI. You would need a different adapter. Mini Display Port to HDMI.

command + F1 That lets you toggle between mirroring and extended desktops.
It should be noted that you need to install the driver for the Mac adapter or this will not work

can you use a vga to hdmi cable or do you have to use the apple dongle?
