217mm of standard APCR pen is not okay. With only 2 degrees of normalization compared to 5 for AP, it is equivalent to about ~200mm AP. This thing has similar penetration to the IS-6 or KV-5.
Yeah, not to mention that premium APCR has only like 242mm, which is one of the worst penetration for Tier 8 heavy.
To play these kind of tanks. First find a alone victim, pop up around a corner, take 1 for the team, and spank them into the lower plate for 3

Love these video's, especially when you go back and revisit older tanks.
One thing I noticed it that the reviews are always of fully researched tanks. Whereas, and maybe it's just me, but when I get access to a new tank, one of the first things I do is look for your current video on it. So while it's great to see what the tank is eventually capable of when fully researched, it would also be helpful in seeing videos (or a dedicated portion of a video) to how to play the tank while you work your way researching it.
For example, how to best play with the stock gun, equipment changes as you open up more research modules etc.
These would be very helpful.

Pen is just too low. Swedish tier 8 Lansen, Emil 951, Emil I have just too low pen with 242. They need to be increased to UDES Alt 5, which has similar based-105mm gun, and 252mm pen.

i seem to find that when I'm on the losing team of a 0-15 battle my RNG is definitely against me.. point blank side shots miss or get non penetration. Angers me greatly as the battle seems to be predetermined before 1st tank is destroyed.. 😡
Whenever I miss 2 3 shots weirdly at the beginning, I will just assume that the game is lost, and a lot of time I am right.

WG can easily make matches a little more balanced, while also keeping things mostly random. Take the top two players from the top tier and divide them up, then take the worst 4 players from the pool of 30 (any tier level) and divide them up. It would add milliseconds to the MM calculation and matches would still have a mostly random feel to them. You would still have 15-5 matches, but the amount of close matches would increase. They can use their own "WG Personal Rating" as the metric to work with. Just an idea.
After awhile? Like all the time! If I lose and it was a good match, so be it. If it is a blowout, like one in every 2 or 3 matches is, its bs. Even winning in a blowout is sad.

Skill have u tried gld instead of vents on this tank? If so why do you prefere vents?
Vents Decrease aim time and dispersion where as gun laying drive only increases aim speed, the Emil has an awful gun, theres just no getting around it so reducing dispersion is important, adds more versatility i feel.

That gun... and Skill was using Bounty equipment! WG will buff it in a year or two and it will become very good again. They seem to go in a cycle with these buffs and nerfs.

I've seen many games and replays jgdpizza shooting point blank gold to Kran, and the turret absorbing the hit and spiting the bullet out without problem...
@Alejandro if kran is hiding its hull behind something without using gun depression you can pen it everywhere in the turret and if it is fully using its gun depression you can still penetrate it under the mantlet, but like I said player need to aim which is not what most jpgz players do

This tank and the EmilII are horribe to grind.
If you want to make your life easier, grab a platoon-mate with a good engine-power medium and use them as second engine. Especially the Emil I benefits extremely if someone can give you a ride to reach your positions faster. They both are pretty small and light tanks and pretty easy to get pushed.
Even though this tank is kind of wonky. I still like the clip power of this one. But then i also enjoy my T77, both feel similarly bad on gun handling, but you get that dopamine rush when you manage to hit all your shots in a clip.
Guys can you tell me what the hotkey is for reloading your clip in Auto loaders tanks is? if you can thank you.

Increase the mapsize by 20%, increase the amount of players on each side to 20 or 22.. No tank can be 1 shot, but can stil be set on fire and burn to death after just one hit/ammorack can stil cause catastrophic blowout. All games have 2 lights/arty, MM must take the players skill lvl into consideration..
I think this would help a bit.

Emil is far the wekest tier8 from tech tree , definetly need a buff against tier 9-10 s its horrible experience no armor , nogunhandling and not enough penetration
what u said in min 4.45min is absolutly right! gunhandlung stats are just numbers that are not count in this game!! RNG is the major factor.
in the first batttle u hit EVERY shot...with Emil 1....^^...come on wargaming!!

It really need gold buff to 260Mm,242 is way too low.
And Skill say it have bad gun handling...lol miss only few shots.

-neither armor
-neither mobility
-neither gun handlig
One of these must be changed (gun fix would be ok)

This tank is for me the same as patton kr is for you. I line it but would not recomend the tank or the line to anyone anymore. There is no point to get kran when vz55 is better in every way possible
