They are comparing more than the aspect of running. Instead of seeing to great athletes, they see other things.
I had no idea that she struggled that much. It's amazing how she has been able to work through these struggles and come closer to God while also becoming an even more amazing athlete.

Joy in the midst of all winter or lose and not being overtaken with perfection. So sad that people didn’t appreciate a high school kid making it to the Olympics and hating on her for not winning a medal. I guess those same losers would have hated on Michael Phelps after his first Olympics…

Sydney didnt lose in 2019 though, it just wasnt her time considering her age. This generation, including the christians , should learn patience. God is a God of fairness and EVERY athlete will excel in his or her prime.
