Perfect timing, a friend's daughter, 23 years old, is just getting over chicken pox. Really! This idea will be perfect, thank you!

Thanks, Natalie so much food for thought! Love the simplistic way you approach card making and then come up with amazing creations that we can all attempt. I am going to tackle my white off-cuts at the weekend. Enjoy the day (too hot for me)! x
Thanks so much! Too hot for me too.
Simple & clean, great background with the colorful spots. This would be fun to do with the grandkids.

Thanks so much!
I like that idea for using the die cut from around the sentiment to cut the card as I usually see them as part of a sentiment on the card itself. Love all these ideas. Thanks.
Thank you

Thank you! You too!
Such a neat idea to make your own dotted background papers. TFS!

Thank you so much!
Oooh…more aperture cards! 🤩 And you know I like the alternative CAS options with the die cuts themselves! Thank you, Natalie. Two birthdays coming up, and I do believe one of the cards will be made using this technique.
Fab! Enjoy your dots. x
I will be trying this with bubble wrap just to see what it looks like!
Great! Have fun. x
I’ve had good success using Versafine Onyx Black ink for stamping with silicone stamps and it’s easier to clean off stamps than StazOn. I’ve also started buying Versafine Clair in other colors to use with silicone stamps.
Thanks for the tip! x
Ooh I love spots/dots and stripes. They always look fresh to me. Great cards as always and lots of inspiration. Thanks Natalie and have a wonderful day xx
You are so welcome!
Just found your channel. I am loving this series!!
Welcome aboard! Thanks for watching. x
Personally I would put a thin black trim around the dotty layer but I'm terrible at clean and simple cards! ♥️
That would look good too! :)
Nice idea. I'm currently using white scraps and looking for ideas.
Thank you!
What a simple but effective technique and you can get lots of cards out of it, like a 2 for 1, thankyou Natalie ps, hope you're enjoying this lovely weather xxx
Thank you, Lindsay! I'm wilting to be honest. LOL
Wonderful I bought some dot markers and was wondering when I would use them .I have a heap of white paper scraps to play with🤩
Brill! Have fun. X
How do you tell the difference between a silicone & photopolymer stamp? I always wandered why some stamps didn't stamp well. Thank you for all your very helpful information & design ideas.
Photopolymer stamps tend to be softer and have a fruity fragrance. Silicone stamps tend to be harder and don’t smell of anything really. Also, if water-based inks bead up and stamp poorly, then it’s probably a silicone stamp. Silicone stamps are often a lot cheaper as well.
Re balloon would show better if the rim was shaded?
That's definitely an option.
Great ideas. How do you know if a stamp is silicone or photo polymer?
Thanks, Jo! Photopolymer stamps tend to be expensive, stickier, softer and have quite a strong smell to them. Silicone/scrylic stamps tend to be cheaper, less sticky, harder, and fragrance free! Also, if water-based inks bead up on the stamp and don't give a good impression first time, then they're probably silicone/acrylic.
Natalie, could you please help with my question? How can you tell the difference between the 2 types of see-through stamps ( can’t remember names) and which inks work best with each. I have memento, versafine clair and Stazon in black, don’t seem to be very successful. Thank you x x
