Do you have any advice for someone coming in way late in the game, regarding collecting? I collected as a kid, and threw all my cards away when I thought I was done with them! Two years ago I got the itch to buy some packs, and now I’m full blown shelling out massive amounts of money to collect as much as I can. I have focused on Sun & Moon and XY. But eventually I want to try to collect the original base unlimited and on. Am I signing up for something impossible?
Thanks a lot. I have old vintage Pokémon binders and I didn notice that bend you are talking about. I ended up picked up the one off Amazon (vault x?). Crazy bc when you were a kid you don’t think about that but now while Pokémon is hot, condition is the name of the game haha. Keep pumping these videos out man!
@@jkdodo2574 you can get it off Amazon- just lookup vault x binder or binder for trading cards. I would get the side loading ones so they don’t slip out and get one with a zipper to keep dust out. Pretty reasonable- about 21$ for 360 card holder.
I'm currently moving every single card I own into binders, by set. Unfortunately there's no way I'll be able to afford a bunch of high quality binders, because I'm going to need at least 12 lol
Which is better? Putting the reverse holo on top of the common/uncommon or keep them separate? I choose to keep them separate BUT 4 of the SWSH sets require a larger binder than the standard 360 holder which can be a pain.
Doesn't three ring binders work if they're d rings? And also UV destroys the color on cards I hope you are blocking the light out on those that are just sitting there in the boxes....
If you don't want any of your bulk, my little brother would absolutely love to have these for his collection he's starting 💯💯💯 If you would be okay with giving away a portion of your bulk cards, please respond to this comment
The video doesn't really show, but I can speak from experience.. As a person who has tons of cards but limited binders, my binders are overfilled with cards. I had a pikatchu binder (back when I only had one binder) and I had a lot of cards. The front of the binder was slanted like most binders. So, the rest of the cards are fine, but since the front is slanted the cards are bent because the binder was overfilled. Doesn't ruin the cards at are, but now some of my cards are bent, and that definatly isn't the condition that is wanted..
Not to seem rude or anything, and I understand your statement, but I will have to disagree. if you store your cards incorrectly, you risk bending the cards or scratching the cards. Say you just store your cards by piles on a shelf. The cards collect dust and dirt, the cards at the bottom get all scratched up. If you store your cards in a loose, big bin, the cards will probably shuffle around and their edges get frayed. If you store by pile and with a rubber band, the middle part of the card and the edges of the cards are ALL messed up...(trust me, I speak from experience..XD)
Exactly! And never store your cards on the bottom shelf of a bookshelf either! If your house floods, all those cards on the floor and bottom shelf will be destroyed!
This was sooo aesthetically pleasing to watch for my neatfreakness
I love this strategy of collecting and sorting. Thank you for sharing.
Even in 2023, this video is super inspiring!

How many copies of cards do you store in each spot on the 9 slot pages?

You can get the vault x ones of Amazon for like £15

Can u send me a binder full of the original 151 Pokémon :)
Bro a binder with the first edition pokemon cards in a binder is thousands are you crazy?
He didn’t say 1st edition
@@andretroncao facts
I have a pickachu and charmander and they both have the same number
I want a one set in pokedex order. And then binders by edition.
so you put them in penny sleve first then binder sleeves?
I recently started getting into Pokémon but, Can someone tell me what set this is?
Any binder with a ring is bad for your cards. I’d highly recommend moving them over to ringless side loaders if anything.
That’s wat he did
Did u watch the video?
its either gotta catch them all or its gotta collect them all xD
D rings don't damage cards
True dat
Three ring binders only bend cards if there O rings because they suck

Some other youtuber said boxes can ruin your cards
Keep a eye out for my white muk binder it got stolen
you can get better binders with less money
What if you aren’t collecting the entire set but just rares, holos, and reverse holos. Common and uncommon holos as well. How to still organize?
Can someone explain to me why the rings binder ruin the cards?
