@@zachsorenson1382 Avi is from Israel, his first language is Hebrew. When he speaks English he thinks everything in Hebrew and then translates it in his head to English and then he can say it. That's why he does his "ehhh" thing, it's because he's translating things in his head

One of the (we think) oldest passages in the Torah is in Exodus, where the Israelites sing as they crossed the red sea about God's fiery rage drowning and crushing all of their enemies. They fought a LOT of wars, as people did in those times, so of course God was leading them to and through battle
Dan is a really good storyteller, hearing him talk about practicing and then performing for his Bar Mitzvah in front of his family was a great story.
PS when you're high you can't always tell if something is genuinely good or if it's just because you're really high.

However yes it is bad that the only/biggest reason you are being good is because you don't want to be punished, whether that being the ultimate punishment of burning in hell for all of eternity, or going to jail.

@@The_Dragon_Tiamat as a christian, the reason we do good isnt out of fear because if we can get to heaven or avoid going to hell by our actions, then jesus's death on the cross was in vain.
We do good out of obedience of God just like basically everyone does good out of obedience to their parents or their moral values

Second if there is only a heaven that does not mean that everyone goes to it, what if you get reborn or you stop existing at all yet there is still a heaven. What you did there is called a black and white fallacy, where you present that these are the only two options when they clearly are not, and while yes what you said isn't exactly a black and white fallacy it is a variation on it.
Not only that but as a former christian I know that there are many different subsects of christianity and if your in one that believes you go to heaven if your good then more power to you, but trust me when I say there are a lot of christian subsects where all you have to do to go to heaven is believe in jesus. I am at no point saying that every christian subsect thinks this nor am I saying that christians are bad people if there only being good so they don't get punished. I am saying that if a person is only being good so they do not get punished, whether that being a kid getting grounded or a person burning in hell for all of eternity, is a bad moral framework.
If you want to contribute something to this conversation then please think things threw before you send something. Almost anytime I am about to send something I go over and fix any spelling mistakes I may make, or fix my improper grammar. I also try my best to not say something before doing a simple google search, unless I know what I'm talking about, just to make sure I'm not making an ass out of myself.

Taylor Cypcar totally, I have like crazy thirsty Jew hair too but too much oil makes it awful. I started using shampoo & conditioner for chemically treated hair, even though I don’t dye my hair, because it’s meant for super thirsty hair. It works really great. But if I’m going to style my hair it’s usually with POC styling products. 👍

I've never bought any of these guys' albums but I might actually make an exception for an album of Danny singing traditional Hebrew lullabies and such. Even these few seconds of him singing a couple of words in the language sound so hauntingly beautiful.

I have a cousin named Leigh Ann but everyone has always called her both of her names. I would never assume that Leigh is a woman's name, it sounds very masculine to me.
I believe it's the spelling, I only know guys named Lee and girls named leigh. Of course it doesn't matter but I think that's what Dan meant
