Directed by Christopher Luscombe and featuring timeless classics, including Sweet Transvestite, Damn It Janet and of course, the pelvic-thrusting Time Warp, The Rocky Horror Show is the story of two squeaky clean college kids - Brad and his fiancée Janet. When by a twist of fate, their car breaks down outside a creepy mansion whilst on their way to visit their former college professor, they meet the charismatic Dr Frank n Furter. It’s an adventure they’ll never forget.

Hopefully Duncan goes down as one of the best to play Frank.
His voice is amazing, he oozes charisma and his stage presence is utterly captivating.

If someone had said to me - as a school girl in 2003 - "THAT is Duncan from Blue!" I'm not sure I would have believed them?!
I’ve been doing Rocky Horror for over thirty years. When I heard that the Frank on this tour was to be Duncan James my heart sank a little. How was he going to pull it off. Went today not expecting a lot but my god did he prove himself . He was amazing. Strong and fun and one of my favourite Frank n Furters.

I like his makeup in this, the makeup makes him look like a true villain and the way he expresses his lips as a transeviste is amazing. His voice is amazing

I went and seen this at the Theatre Royal in Newcastle and let me tell u it was astounding and at the end of the show I went to the stage door and I got Duncan James Autograph. It was the best night I will never forget

If frank is supposed to be an insecure alien. Having a physically masculine male playing the character defeats the purpose of his ambiguous sexuality, defeats his need for rocky, also defeats the accessibility of viewing him as potentially psychotic, as (sorry to break it to you) the hero body type is reserved purely for that.
The premise of Richards writing was to show the blurred lines of sexuality, Brad and Janet are tricked willingly into cheating, now. Janet cheats with two people with the same physicality? Uh?

Good heavens. Another production where the director seems to have totally missed that the words are spoken TO OTHER CHARACTERS and is what makes it funny and in context. "Seems you've met my..." so who is this directed to? Not the general audience sung in a song without context. This entire song is one hilarious dialogue with our scared innocent bunny rabbits. All the sarcasm... gone... replaced with perfectly polished singing which is stripped of its wit as DIALOGUE and as if it's sung to the audience about the scene. Great talent. All these musicals and remakes totally missed the point which is why they pale so badly to the original.
