Good and strategic move by the group. Yes, not a succession olan, but more of a stabilizing move. The stock price has plummented consederably since Herbert's death, only Aig understands the strategic plan they both concieved at the founding stage. Good move.

Exactly my thoughts as well. I would have preferred to hear he is brought back in an interim capacity till a future successor is named. But as u stated, it doesn’t speak well to the succession planning (which interestingly the board should have oversight of).
And why did the guest claim the board is the largest decision making body? The board provides oversight not decision making/execution related function.

@@onon7687 I'm just wondering what makes u think that he was not part of the succession plan. Companies like access have a corporate strategy that is been executed upon. Aig and Herbert are largely capable. There is also investor sentiment, confidence at stake. Its not emotional decisions that are taken at that level, but strategic ones. Plus he is not the CEO, so largely day to day decisions will be taken by the CEO and her executive team. He is there to ensure alignment
