Love this! It looks great (not cheap) and your use of the power bank instead of a complicated power system is perfect. I cannot understand these people in small vans who go all out on roof solar panel, inverters etc. when you can buy a power bank and moveable panels. It seems too complicated and permanent. I’d rather do what you do and buy a new power bank when (of if) it stops working. Happy travels!

This is great! The only change I'd make is the Carbon Monoxide detector's mounting and I'd put it at where my head is when I'm sleeping. That way I'd know the danger level is at my head's height.

Don’t put yourself down you have done a good job. I have a old T5 that I have just done up and yes I have spent way too much on it and yes I have done it all myself from watch CZcams. You are now one of those guys that people will watch and think, yes I can do that and it is not that much. So well done and enjoy the trips away

You know what, this is an excellent budget build. I've been watching the LWB builds and would love to do it, but don't have the funds for them type of builds, whereas this, I love. For weekend trips this would be great. Absolutely brilliant pal.

this is so great man, you just did it, now it's my turn, i am 61 sold my last car in '99 ;-) en just yesterday a made an appointment and go see for a '95 peugeot expert... hope it works out as good as yours witch i really like. i made video's in the nineties mostly underwater, and thinking to video it to, just like you. 👍

Perfect! Absolutely love it, i too don't understand why more weekenders don't just use a portable powerbank. Love the folding down passengar seat turning into a comfy longing seat. Don't do yourself down it's well thought out & you did a great job

Just found this and subscribed. We just sold our T5.1 £30k and are looking for ideas as to what to get next - and what you have accomplished on such a small budget is outstanding. This has given me a massive shove to try and achieve something similar, if only on a bigger platform. Proves you don’t need to spend £££. Well done.

You done a fab job we did same old transit minibus converted it had it a few years family out grew it so sold it and did the same again in a welfare bus and new better this time what we wanted but all on a budget and self done with no previous skill set and we love it enjoy when you park up and there's a 60 grand moter home at the side of you know they only got same view as you but they paid 60 grand for it 😂

Not sure if I missed it. But what do you have for heating, I stayed in my caddy few days ago was cold, my face mainly, wasn't properly prepared to stay out. Only had thin throws. 😂
Honestly, I don’t really have anything to heat me up sometimes are you some hand warmers but I have a winter sleeping bag that keeps you warm. So far I haven’t been uncomfortable.

I've just been watching "Orange Campers" which is a company which sells the whole thing - van and fit-out, for ridiculous sums of money, and they are absolute CRAP ‼️ with those 'orrible round door thingy's and the just really 'orrible plastic edging which was all the thing way back in 1960 (sixty years ago!!). I just do not understand, and cannot believe, that people are *still* doing vans like that ‼️☹☹ Where is their brain for goodness sake. Why have they got no taste? 😢 It's not as if your cupboards cost the earth is it? It really, I mean REALLY annoys me thatcthey have the real cheek to charge a fortune for them, too 🤬☹🤬☹
Your van has been done very nicely indeed, can't fault it, and is the layout that I would go for. Are you up for making a bed and putting a cupboard in my van, for me? I can't do it myself but willing to pay. I'm in the North East. Got an e-mail so we could chat ❓❓

It doesn't matter how easy it is *I can't do it myself* and everybody seems to say the same thing - not professional, don't want the pressure/responsibility etc. It's very frustrating for me cos I can't seem to get anyone to make just one long box with two hinges for lids, and cut a kitchen cupboard down to size to fit in the van 😕😕 The whole point is that going to a so-called 'professional' either they say they only do full conversions or only do the 'whole package' (van+work).
