- Destroyers are incredibly flexible and are one of the best classes to play if you want to carry your team to a win. Marceau is more on the gunboat side of destroyers but torpedo boats can be just as effective.

You can't carry in a friesland due to no torps. It's super rare.

The Friesland has half the amount of guns of a Marceau and it doesn't have its tankiness and speed also.
It's great how you sometimes comment on what your correct play or correct move should have been, even though you get away with doing something that puts your ship at undue risk. It's also super helpful how you point out specific map and terrain strategies. These are elements of WOWS gameplay commentaries that are often missing from other content creators' videos.
USN DDs would still be jealous of those arcs and travel times

I just got the Marceau, and because I'm so used to American shell arcs, I've had no problems with her guns.

@@MrFish-ei9tyit's not unusual to see a destroyer push a BB off a point. Particularly if they are trying to engage other ships.
The torpedoes simply represent too big of a potential threat. They can never know what's going to come out of the smoke. If I get absorbed dueling another BB off in the distance, they don't realize the torpedoes are coming until it's too late to get out of the way
The big problem from the destroyers point of view is not getting totally owned by secondary fire.
I do want to give a shout out to the guy in the Bismarck who actually chased me down and killed me with his main battery he was so annoyed at being harassed for half the game
The most fun I have in this game is running around blasting in a gunboat with reckless abandon and getting away with it because I know how to kite and throttle juke
I am still having mixed results when my evasion.. death comes swiftly for a destroyer, but the charging in, laying smoke, and raising hell and then dashing off laughing is the absolute best part of the game.
I don't know why people elephant walk back and forth in cruisers and battleships when they could be hacking and slashing in a destroyer.

Damn it. I finally was ready to spend my coal for Lutjens, but you made me think about getting Marceau instead.
With the new commander rework, unique commanders are better investment if you have many premiums to use them on.
Amazing game PQ! I also have Marceau but I build her specifically as a DD hunter caused I'm not quite good in finding good positions behind islands. But thanks to this vid, I now get some good ideas how to use Marceau. More vids for DDs! Thanks!

I've get the Marceau for coal for there was no better options in my opinion on the moment but I was quite frustrated with the results. I was thinking perhaps it's just not my ship. It come out I was just using it wrong. Now I am doing pretty well because you highlited what this ship should be doing.
I am using slightly more cautious build with full stealth, but I became very useful for my team.

Love the play dds as you can rush n charge not having a care in the world what's happening. In the end having a blast and getting high damage on enemy ships.
Marceaus are easily a big gun ship's worst nightmare considering if it's beyond 12km and in the right hands, you are NOT going to reliably hit it.
I must confess I learned more about DD from this BB main player than other DD mains

ya finally did a vid on the Marceau! btw the new captain skill rework allows this to get out to 16km range on main guns which honestly is a VERY stupid mistake as you can literally just open water gunboat without any risk of being gunned down easily. few days ago though i got reported TWICE in one ranked game after i hit 2 torps on a Petro and got him to beach himself in the cap while i proceeded to charge directly at him and gun him down using AP(i kept pushing up till he was near broadside when i fired second set of torps that caused him to push full throttle into the island leaving him in the perfect position for damage farm!) while only losing about half my HP and proceeded to take the cap he failed to!

From a viewer perspective, these games are fun to watch, Good DD play definitely wins games.

Just got my fletcher and havent been doing so good it seems worse than the benson, but its not fully upgraded so ill have to play it more. Thank you for this dd vid i hope it will help me play better.
This ship is actually quite decent against CV if you play like PQ - skirting around islands, constantly moving, etc. The speed and saturation make her very difficult to kill.
I'll tell you as a BB captain when I'm in a CA I'll bind fire every DD if I don't have another target as they are pretty good at scouting and generally making BBs life hard.

These days a "close" game in world of warships is pretty rare. The matchmaking is so broken in that your team either wipes out the enemy team in 6-7 minutes of battle or your team gets wiped out by the enemy team also within the first 7 minutes of battle.
Like every wargaming games, because of manipulated RNG.

Overpens are out of control. BB AP is not worth using at this point, once you get above 10,000 games played.

It's good at short range but it's not as good as my Shimakaze with 8km torpedoes and torpedo acceleration! Am I right PQ? :D

Khaba vs Marceau is kinda an awkward comparison. One has worse rudder shift, speed and DPM, but has meme 50mm plating and Heal, while the other has floatier shell arc and gimmicky hull saturation.

I actually likes this clip until the last minute where you claimed DD is less rng based. Play a torp DD or play vs a skilled CV and keep telling me it is less rng ;-)
PLZ make a video that your BBs sit at the back and snipe ,and no CVs, DDs spot and cap! i like to C what is the outcome! PLz! 80% of the time this is what happens in my games and we loos in 10-15min
