bro i did exact same procedure to give him fall damage but even after falling he is not taking any damage at all.
It’s patched he don’t take fall damage anymore

I just killed him on first try by running around the area and resummoning the companions. He never targeted me once. That was so easy compared to Renalla and a few dozen frustrating attempts at killing her (as a mage)
Im sorry but it absolutely is patched out. Radahn cant even climb the mountain high enough to cause fall damage. He paces along the like of texture level going up from flat. So there is no way this is ever going to accomplish anything but waste time. Its OK to that this has been patched out, but to keep suggesting that this somehow works when the majority of people commenting are telling you "No, it doesnt" is ridiculous and arguably trolling.
He didn't fall but I still cheesed him with poison arrows. Never went into 2nd phase. Good place to cheese. This made this fight soooo much easier. Thanks!
I tried this a bunch of times, but Radahn didn't take any fall damage. Then I finished him my next go by reviving all the NPCs constantly, and when he summons the homing meteorites, run behind a sand dune. Rinse and repeat.
Its honestly harder to do the jump then it is to just use dragon rot breath spell a few times with maybe some arrows.
If you're a mage rock sling hammers him but you need the summons to keep busy. They patched his fall damage but your tree branch might be a safe spot to target him with spell or arrows.
if u have the tailsman that makes ur bow and arrows strong and ranged bow tailsman u can get on the branch and auto lock on and do 200 damage every shot u gotta be close to the edge anywhere on the branch and turn your camera towards him then lock on I just cheesed him only took 30 min if u can't lock on go to the middle of the end of the branch and make sure ur on the edge it's the only way to lock on I got out of place and it took me awhile too lock back on but once I went towards the edge it was working like a charm
Fall damage has been patched however if you go to the top and then slide down a bit you can take him down to 1/3 damage and then he smashes and launches you into the air. I assume if you can manage you get back up and do it again you can cheese him but I have yet to do it myself.

I think they patched his fall damage in 2024, but he'll still cheese Into the ocean during his 2nd phase. You can also still use ranged attacks on this cliff such as rock sling, comet, or arrows to cheese him without taking dmg.
All I did was summon and buffed them then rode around reviving them till the boss died
For the life of me I couldn't do the climb I would dissappear on him practice for a bit then come back to have him chase me and the shit wouldn't climb when I first did he wasn't dying he was just sliding down, I ended up just using my dragon breath scarlet rot getting close enough dodging his attacks and spraying him had to do it twice to cover his last half of his health bar. Definitely you have to be light on equipment for fast enough reflexes

I've been trying this for the better part of an hour, and he doesn't die from the fall. Idk if they did something, but it's not working for me at all.
He died from fall dmg ,when he activated second phase he tryed to go up after but be he died idk how
