Also i don’t think I need to say this but the film is saying those things I don’t necessarily agree with it.

Great to see you back. I’m glad he won the Oscar, that sort of transformation usually does. The directors Requiem For A Dream was truly a work of art, but with one of the most depressing ends in movie history. This sounds depressing too. Never saw Mother even though I wanted to

My youngest son, 25, literally argued with me that he didn’t die in the end...
I understand why he didn’t want to face it in that very moment, From Me, so I let him have it and just let the subject go.... I suppose I’m glad I’m getting validated almost 6 months later!! And now that it’s 12:28 am, it’s his birthday.... ♥️🎁🎂🎈

Felt like Affronosky work went downhill after reading a summary of the Bible. Mother was good though.

Promise to drop vids on older films soon. I know a lot of you skip videos of films that you haven’t seen yet. Also yes I’m working on all requests. When they drop is determined on how fast I can get an claim to now block them worldwide.

Delusion also shows in how he tried to help Alan. He thought that simply loving him would save him when in reality Alan was so ingrained in his beliefs that being able to function or accept who he was without them became impossible. Thomas thinks that Charlie can be saved through faith despite the fact that religion is part of the reason he went down path he did. I do think in the end however he does reach out to his daughter. The ending itself is open to interpretation.

Acting was amazing, however the story line was all over the place, 10/10 acting 6/10 movie

Utter perfection i thought. trauma affects everyone different. i liked the cyclical drip down effect of this and the juxtapositional depiction of him being super fat and his post wife boyfriend extremely thin. Lots of symbols in this movie. There ultimately was no real winners. it was a sad movie but realistic depiction of someone who essentially committed suicide, but in a more drawn out manner. Making everyone, forcing close ones to suffer alongside him. His zen like buddhist state on his life was very enlightening i thought. he was clearly depressed but he didn’t seem to fear death. he embraced his final moments. not every story is a positive one. I thought very well made movie. I have watched other movies on trauma but felt none as allegorical and deep as this one. the literal and metaphorical devices aronofsky used were excellent.
the proof in the pudding literal representation of the self harm being grossly apparent and the fact he was aware of it made it for a very cerebral viewing. it definitely wasn’t a nice viewing, but it was indeed groundbreaking. life often isn’t always nice and i respect that in this movie. very honest movie. and breathtaking performance by Fraser.
