Gaga is so natural in this that you even forget that she is the one acting. House Of Gucci looks like It's going to be entertaining and with a lot of iconic moments. I can't wait to see it.
Her accent is overdone, I'm second generation Italian and non sound this rigged. She's sounds parody because its too overdone. Good thing most Americans won't even realize this tho. For me it ruins the suspension of disbelief
@@vincentprice9156 You need to do your research because she is not trying to imitate italian accents but to sound like Patrizia Reggiani and her performance is pretty good if you actually listened to Patrizia's interviews, she even has that broken english in her voice that Patrizia has

@@dannyt7269 That's not really how russian sounds like, I'm romanian, our accent is very similar with italian and she sounds accurate (more like the northern part of Italy where the accent is a bit more slavic). Anyway she's suppose to sound like Patrizia and she even does the whole broken english thing kinda good, ofc I'm not trying to say that she is perfect, but she does a good job overall. We got to give her some credit because the accent is one of the hardest things to pull off as an actor, even the experienced ones have a hard time...

I think it's because Patrizia character have strong impression than Ally who is like the girl next door. Patrizia character is like someone who you don't want to messed up. While Ally's character is someone who still you can meet in your daily life.

I saw it Saturday night. It was outstanding -- the whole cast, especially Driver, Gaga, Pacino and Irons, played it to perfection. The scenery, the fashion shows, the Shakespearean backstabbing -- all done great. Ridley Scott once again shows he a master of storytelling.

Just saw The Last Duel yesterday. This dude really understood his task. No spoiler but his acting range is so wide. He can play so many different types of characters, and those with many different layers.

I personally don’t understand the point of getting an actor who looks nothing like the character and smothering them in hair and makeup. Sure, he’s talented, but surely they could’ve found someone who looks more like the part?

While not unrecognizable, Russell Crowe once played a significantly older individual as the whistle-blower in The Insider (1999). At minimum, it required gray hair.

Saw this movie yesterday. Loved it. I can see how, for an average viewer, it maybe a tad too long, but it worked in the context of this script. Also maybe characters are slightly not what they were in real life, especially apparently Paolo, but they were so captivating. Jared Leto transformed into this character amazingly.

Lady Gaga's acting performance in House of Gucci is shock-full of microexpressions of a staggering variety. It's surreal that someone who has no right being anything other than a newbie at acting is suddenly at the very summit.

Stefani Germanotta holding her own on screen with heavy hitters like Adam Driver, Salma Hayek, Jared Leto, Jeremy Irons and the heaviest hitter of them all... the living legend Al Pacino. I wasn't a big fan of Lady Gaga years ago. I didn't get the meat dress and some of the other zany outfits she wore. I know why she did it but she didn't have to do it. Her phenomenal musical talent always spoke for itself. But she has completely won me over. Her performance in "A Star is Born" was tremendous. I just can't get enough of this woman and can't wait to watch this performance.

I saw The House of Gucci this afternoon. You are awesome, absolutely awesome.
What a Great Movie! All of the actors give an incredible performance, and their Italian accents are top notch. Jared Leto is undetectable as the eccentric Gucci Cousin - and made me fall in love with his character. And yes, Lada Gaga delivers...you forget it's her, as she is so into the character, and Adam Driver's Smile can Melt any room! I watched it twice so far, and I'd see it again.
Lady Gaga was originally just a singer, but she managed to transition into acting so flawlessly. Now she shows such amazing talent .

Realism according to Hollywood: people in Italy speak to each other in English, but with an Italian accent. It's so believable, you guys! I mean if Lady Gaga's accent wouldn't be strong enough, I totally wouldn't buy it, but she really nails it, doesn't she?
