- Today we are in the beautiful Lake District National Park after walking up Silver How from Grasmere earlier in the day, we then headed up to Easedale Tarn for a wild camp. On the way up we stopped off at Sour Milk Ghyll, for a wild swim.
In the morning we even decided to walk off our hangover by ascending Tarn Crag and enjoying the amazing views looking over the Lake District.

Thank you, I really appreciate it and no plans to stop any time soon👍
Great video mate, was meant to stay there tonight but I fell ill and me and my son couldn't go , that pool looks amazing , is it deep? Hopefully get across at end of month
Thanks, sorry to hear you couldn't go, hope you get out there soon. The pool is around 6 feet deep.
Just watched your lovely video, beautiful veiws. Enjoyed your enthusiasm for camping in our wonderful lake district . Or whatever the "terminology " one has to frame it as . Looking forward to your next video of you and your pals enjoying the great outdoors.
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it!
Enjoyed that ! New sub here , keep it up 🏕
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it!
Easedale tarn is a mild stroll from Grasmere. That's not wild camping but an excuse to make a video about a camp out that's not required. Wild camping is when you have to camp on a long hike where there is no alternative. The abuse of those principles is undermining genuine hikers who have to wild camp and causing disruption, as well as encouraging elements who are less respectful and leave mess.
Stop hating old dude 😂
@@lewiscrabtree3057 genuinely not hating, making a genuine point that needs making if we care about the future of walking, hiking and genuine wild camping.
There is always one old miserable sod 🙄 From watching the lads videos he obviously Respects the countryside, does care, and no harm done. If he was 55 years old would you be making a comment like this?
How far does one have to walk to call it a wild camp?? Genuine question.
The countryside is available for everyone. I always make sure to leave no trace and follow the unofficial wild camping guidance. Sometimes it's not always an option to do long hikes. I certainly plan to do some in the future so these shorter hikes are good practice.
