Enjoy this vlog of me exploring ancient temples in Sicily, Italy. In this video I explore the valley of the temples. Beautiful walk around!
Thanks, glad you liked it!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣that slip has made my night I thought you had it at first but nope😂
Haha it was my mate, we all went a different way after😂
Too many people have accidents in the Alps. You can google it.
❤
Clickbait. There is nothing what you should know before visit. Just normal below average travelvlog capturing waterfalls.... Dont waste time And go look on another video where there are talking about crucial information.
Sorry you didn't find value. What info would you suggest for next time?
You guys seem like a nice respectful bunch....but jeez you need some more Munro prep 😂😂 Any plans to do any more? Just beware that many of them don't have defined paths and you need to navigate your own way across boggy fields or up/down rocky slopes. Just be careful
Yeah, munros are another level to lake district mountains. I'm going to need to improve my navigation before my next one!
Some nice views!
It's a beautiful spot!
@@uptosummit_ yes, looks it.
Really enjoy your travel videos. Gonna watch this channel grow !!
Thanks, I appreciate it, got some trips planned for September!
i have been in that hotel after driving up the kirkstone pass
you looked rough when you woke up lol
Haha the drink from the previous night certainly won't have helped
Adam a right caveman all he needs is a club lol
Haha he was born in the wrong era
Wow great weather for Scotland! And west coast
I know, couldn't have asked for better weather!
12:00 and on is really cool!
Wow now this is cool! So much history!!! ❤❤❤❤
I know such an interesting place!
@@uptosummit_ 😍😍
Were you there in June? Can I ask how hot it was? The sensory smell garden would probably scent more after rain, in Spring, or in the evenings. Thanks for the video.
Yeah, it was in June. It was around 30 Celsius, so pretty hot. I didn't think about that with the sensory garden, good point!
And this is why Mountain rescue are continually called out...absolute idiots!
Reminds me of my first Munro(s) Five Sisters of Kintail. I was all over the place too but it’s how you gain experience.
Yeah exactly, makes good memories as well!
this is why you need a physical map and compass!!!
I had them on me. Unfortunately, there were no footpaths, and I couldn't be bothered getting it out. As you can see, it would have saved me a lot of time if I used the map haha.
oh damn... you really were lost then. and retracing your steps was a no go too.
Yeah, all part of the fun though haha
you aint wrong!!
Thank you! How long it took you all that walk?
I actually did them all separately, I've never done it as 1 walk. If you're in good fitness you should be able to do it under 12 hours.
As someone said map reading is essential. Also look in getting a gps watch like a Garmin Connect, you can upload gpx files of the route you want to take, brilliant piece of kit.
Yeah I agree, thanks for the tips. I've looked at the gps watches before they look great!
i least you got up and down ok without doin youself in lol and yes it bloody never goes to plan when i went to find our bushcraft hobbit house we built 3 yr ago in a woodland it was all over grown and i was lucky to find it and get back out of there because the paths we used to use had gone over grown so i know how ye feel lol its on my last video if yyou want to see it i even lost my new camping table i payed 20 quid for
Getting lost is the fun part haha, sounds like you had an adventure too, I'll check it out!
Yeah it's busy with people just like you. Go figure. Go somewhere else. There's literally 1000's of places to go.
That's why I planned to camp above Easedale Tarn, not at it👍
@@uptosummit_ i understand. I just see so many wild camp channels telling everyone the places they go, are now super busy. Well, duh! If they keep filming themselves going, it is going to encourage others to go! It just reminds me a time when i called my grandma one time to say id be late as i was stuck in traffic. She said, no, you ARE the traffic.
@@Mysteryman93 Yeah, I get you. I know it's a busy spot and is only going to get busier. I mainly titled the video that way as unfortunately that's what is best for getting views.
Too busy? Bit self important?
Not at all. I knew it would be busy, which is why I planned to head up above Easedale Tarn
@@uptosummit_ 🫡
Great video! Easedale tarn looks way too busy for me. I’d hate that. Looking forward to seeing more videos mate. Liked & subscribed 👌🏼
Yeah, on a weekend with nice weather it's too busy. I imagine it will be quiet again in winter. Thanks for the sub!
I swapped out from using leather walking boots to trail running shoes with water proof socks this year. I have much better stability, had zero ankle rolls which I had quite often in the boots. The trails runners also have far better grip.
I've been considering that for a while, any recommendations for trail runners?
@@uptosummit_ For me, Brooks Cascadia 16. They fit like a glove (for me anyway). Good wide toebox, hugs the ankle and a wide stable sole with a rock plate. I tried the newer Cascadia 17 and they didn't fit well at all as the design changed too much. Now got 4 pairs of 16's for backup, lol
@@thewhofan8020 I saw someone else recommend them, I'll have to go try some on!
U chaps had a great day for it weather wise, awesome views😁
Yeah, a beautiful day!
If you like quiet, you should come to my town, you could stealth camp in the shopping centre on a Saturday afternoon and no one would notice you it is that quiet.😂😂
Haha sounds like a good video, where is that?
@@uptosummit_ Rochdale.
Nothing worse than having a plan on somewhere to camp and when you get there it's like the Glastonbury festival😩 What yah doing lads walking around in the mountains in your carpet grippers?😂😂 still it was a great video to watch...AGAIN😊 Keep it up lad👌👍
I know easedale tarn is so busy now and boots are back for next video haha
Amazing lake & waterfall! Good for you for having the balls to refuse the lighter to the group that wasn’t wild camping and being disrespectful.
Ye, it was amazing and I've to do my bit to help save the area!
Hi to you guys,😊 from me in Jamaica 🇯🇲
Hi from England🏴
Well done man🎉
Thanks man!
Man needs to invest in a topographic map and compass.
I had both with me. I was just too lazy to get them out, and there were no paths and steep slopes to get between the summits
Summit is the easy part. Youre halfway. Hard part of mountaineering is getting back down
Ye I know haha
Damb, iv only done hiking in England but this looks awsome.
I'd definitely recommend visiting Scotland or Wales, both amazing areas
Wow sweet video! Leaving a sub. You'll be at 1k before you know it!!
Thanks for subbing, I really appreciate it!

Thanks mate!
@@uptosummit_ 👍
You need to do a navigation course, map and compass are the best outdoor gadgets you can buy! 💙
Yeah, possibly. I know how to use a map and compass and always carry one. The problem was that there were no paths on the map. Might look into a course to help me navigate when I come across these circumstances.
@@uptosummit_ It'll definitely help you pick out features take bearings and that way you can follow a heading. Not a dig at all. Love the channel. 💙
Yeah, thanks for the advice, it's much appreciated 💙
Keep going lad keep going!! 👍

Will do mate👍
That is not "modern" look of the castle. That is real look from era of Maria Theresa when it waa rebuilt from fort to palace. It was comon to paint castles or houses in white as it was fashion. Europe houses /castles are different to the Uk.
Very interesting, I didn't know that, thanks!
I see you're above tree line. that's not bad.
It´s a hill mate.... UK dont have mountains
Can you point me in the direction of the definition of a mountain in which Ben More would not be considered a mountain?
@@uptosummit_ 😁 in Sweden we have real mountains.. you are welcome here.. but if you really like trekking then I recommend you go to Nepal and do the ABC trekk.. anaphurna bace camp.. most beautiful thing I ever done
