Musalman din mein paanch waqt ki namaz pardhte hein. Lekin, Quran 5 waqt ki namaz ka zikr nahin karta, sirf 3 namazon ka naam deita he, aur farak farak ayat mein 3 namazon ka zikr deita hai (11:114, 17:78-79). I read Quran with understanding and got surprised, what was really written in it , I think you are missing Hindu contribution to Islamic ideology. I found out , Lahore is Janatul Firdouce and founder of this city Raja Lav son of emperor Rama is Allah. And the lov ( al Lah) made temple Kabba with shiva lingam.
I read history of city Lahore on Encyclopedia, it tell us Rama son Lav ( Muslims’s Allah) founded city Lahore about 3 thousands years ago in Iron Age by River Ravi,
Quran tell us , “ there are 2 more , very green, Shaded heaven ( gardens = Janat ) with low hanging fruits and big eyed/ boobs girls are waiting in tents ( Indian girls waiting for Arab soldiers in houses) by running waters ( River Ravi) . “
Quran also confirmed, black stone in Kabba wall came from Janatul Firdouce ( gardens of Firdouce = city Lahore) ,

Please check once these verses.... In five different verses is total five time prayers.....

1. Quran 11:114: 3 prayers.
2. 2:238: "Salat al-Wusta" (Middle Prayer)
3. 50:39-40. The word used here is "Hamd" (Praises) not "Salah", but even then it mentions 3 "Hamds". Before sunrise, afternoon before sunset, and at night. So 3 again.
4. 17:78-79. 3 times again: Decline of Day (i.e. Middle), Layl (Night), and Fajr
5. 30:17. The word here is not Salah, it is "Subahana" (Praise). Praising God at Nightfall and Morning. 30:18. Repetitive verse. Praising God at Night and at afternoon. *someone can argue that here the Quran mentions 4 praises, but that is debatable*
So in summary:
1. Quran only mentions 3 *Salah* by name.
2. Quran has vague timings of "praises" *hamd* *subhana*
3. This likely could reflect the evolving/changing nature of the scripture. But one can't be certain.
