- In this video I'll be taking you on a tour of all rides and attractions that Universal Islands of Adventure 2024 has to offer.
HAGRIDS STRATEGY
For Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure, the ideal visiting strategy involves balancing convenience and wait times. Early park admission offers a chance to join the queue before the park opens to regular guests, though this comes with the inconvenience of early arrival and waiting at the gate. However, Hagrid's is known for its morning unreliability, with frequent early delays.
An alternative strategy is to consider the Velocicoaster during early park admission, especially since it now includes express pass access, avoiding the long queues that form from mid-morning onward.
In contrast to the common recommendation of joining the queue in the last 20 minutes of park operation, a more reliable strategy might be to queue for Hagrid's between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM. This timeframe is after the peak morning wait times and coincides with the highest wait times for other attractions, potentially reducing the relative waiting time for Hagrid's. While this goes against the typical advice of avoiding theme parks during mid-afternoon, it makes sense for this specific ride due to its unique wait time pattern.

I've never been in either ride in Toon Lagoon but I'm staying on site this visit so maybe I'll do them next trip before a midday break
We had park hopper passes this time and we're staying at the subside resort which was so nice to just get on the Universal transportation and go everywhere we did all the water rides in that section in the morning first thing then we went over volcano Bay and finished our day there
