Cardinal Sessions was founded in the summer of 2010. They challenge the classic music video and try to replace impersonal footage with immediate and emotional snapshots.
Bands from all over the world with their different genres present their songs reduced to the essence of the musical spectrum - only vocals and unplugged instruments. Due to the spontaneous live-aspect and the approach to record every song without any additional rehearsal, songs emerge that often sound significantly different to their album versions.
We film on locations that the musicians mostly choose by themselves: remote places, frequented streets, parks, woods, fields, bars; nothing is impossible. We have accomplished our goal if the location fits well to the background of the music we and the artists want to present. But our most important purpose is that there are no borders: we film everything that we like, no matter how popular, famous or also unknown a band might be. It is still important for us to support local talents and it will always stay part of our concept.
The Cardinal Sessions team can also be booked: for example to film short documentaries of album recordings, studio recordings or live concert moments that you want to capture.

One of the many gods who whom we pray of which we understand less than we can imagine. They all have gifts. All gifts have a point where their weight is beyond their glory.
Without sadness I would feel empty.

This breaks my heart, everytime I listen to Keaton feels like 2000 knives on my body.
Had the absolute honour of seeing him perform this song live at a gig in Manchester in 2013 (I think it was). I hadn't heard the song before up until that point, but I fell in love with it instantly, and it was the highlight of a wonderful night for me...and that was even with him playing some of my favourites! At one point in the show he thanked us all for being so quiet and respectful, "...destroying the northern stereotype". We all laughed. If you haven't already, I really hope you get to see him live.

I met this guy online, in 2020, when everyone was complaining about how bad that year was, he turned it into the best one I've ever had, he was so sweet, supporting, smart, and different from anyone I've met before, I believed that he was the one, he once told me that he liked me, then we got into a long distance relationship, but I'm locked in a place where I might never be able to leave, he was so sweet that he wouldn't say that he loved me cuz as he said that I deserved him to say it in person, three days ago, I ended this relationship, and it hurts like hell, cuz I really loved him and I still do, but it doesn't seem like we'll be able to meet, it hurts so much that I was the one who gave up on us, though I said that I'd do anything to make it happen, but life is just getting worse for me, and I let go of the most amazing person in my life, if you ever read this, I just want you to know that I love you, so much, and I'm sorry, and this song will always remind me of you.

Who didn't have a girlfriend or boyfriend at 17? I started heavy dating in 6th grade and went through my man-whore phase mid-high school where I easily went through 30+ girls in that 4 year span where it all ended in college when I decided to focus on that and not sex and fun lol.
Kids now are having sex at 12 and being charged as adults at 15. Times have changed, buddy. If you haven't noticed, 3/4 people are in relationships now haha. We're all so co-dependent now.

I wish there was a button to delete my existence, so I wouldn't have to hurt anyone when I go, so I wouldn't have to live with these scars, confusion and desire to disappear. Life has been beautiful at times, just being able to be healthy and walk in nature was all I could desire in life. Unfortunately, I learned that this is too expensive for me, I'm one of those that will suffer so the notion of not suffering exists. In a few days I might hear for de 4th time that I have to fight cancer again. If that's right, it will also be my goodbye to this world. For those who can live, live. You still have time to change your eyes for how you see this world, do it while your body can still keep up with your mind. If you are also weak like me, find the strength I didn't.
