I had a bible at my job and after a while i came to work and found it taken apart page by page put back in the outside covering and put back where I had it. so I built a cabinet with doors and put a lock on it. Time passed and someone took a water hose and sprayed in to the small opening where the doors closed and soaked all my things. This was told to my boss each time it happened he said he couldn't do anything but talk to them. He did nothing. I was a seamstress and clothing repaired alterations. I took this abuse for 12 years , why because I loved my customers, they loved my work, I enjoyed the work i was doing. I tried to find work other places but was none available.Thank God it wasn't every day God gave me peace about this and finally after 12 years I retired. I now sew dresses for little girls in low income families, and sometimes I paint and make cards for sick and shut-ins. This world is not my home but I want God to use me to inspire and comfort others with the knowledge that we can find peace with Jesus and live out our lives to help others while we are here. We are not without troubles, mean and spiteful people, or illness, no matter what some ministries profess about, you are not well because of the hundred reasons why you are not receiving your healing or why your prayers aren't answered. They fail to remember, Gods prophets where killed, the disciples that did healing had health problems, James was killed others was stoned but Peter was freed from prison by an angel then later he was crucified upside down, Paul was losing his eye sight and had to have someone to read for him and later beheaded and so on, The fact is things will happen, good and bad. God is not punishing us. We live in an evil world. We need the Lord in our lives to help us through difficulties, open doors, answer prays, give us hope of a better place with Him one day. God is not a genie in a bottle. Even Jesus said Father if it be possible may this cup pass from me, yet not as I will but as you will. God wants us to love Him always no matter what and we will understand all the whys when we go be with Him in heaven. The story of Job is that Job loved God and praise Him no matter what. Total submission to God. The enemy went before God twice and God allowed him to do the things that happened to Job. Job's daily relationship with God was close even in his agony Job said " Though He slay me, yet will I trust in Him. But I will maintain my ways before Him. He shall also be my salvation, for an hypocrite shall not come before Him." Job 13: 15,16

The Bible says in 2 Cor 5 10 that we will all stand before the Judgment Seat of Christ. I've already shed tears for the many years that I've wasted. But I know God loves me and I love Him. God 's mercies and compassions are new every morning. For a number of years now I have given Him my heart, not just in service, but in growing in depth spitually. I'm reading through the Bible for the 20th time and I have memorized over 250 scriptures. My favorite scripture is Col 1 13-14. God has rescued me from the dominion of darkness and has brought me into the kingdom the Son He loves in whom I have redemption through His blood and forgiveness of sin. But life is hard. I'm 72 years old and I have been in constant pain for over 30 years with a debilitating illness. I've learned that growing spiritually does not just happen at any age. We have to be proactive and determine each day to walk with the Lord. But we will NEVER become sinless until we see Jesus face to face. I still struggle with sin because I still have a sin nature but when Jesus calls me home, my sin nature will be gone forever - so take courage reader, the same will happen for you!!!
I so miss this preacher...so wished there was someone like him now!! You don't hear this true preaching anymore...no one wants to preach the truth exactly the way the Bible says it!!

I wrote down the words Dr Adrian Rodgers used to lead people to Jesus so I can memorize them and hopefully get the chance to witness to people about the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to lead them to Jesus too! Ya sweetheart that's beautiful, if I was still evangelical confession guy I would still be studying that aspect o the kingdom of God omnipotent almighty Yahweh Elohim hallelujah, but I'm gonna praise and do the angel part, but not Satan, he's a crazy jealous and murdering liar, but that's all up fo interpretation because we know man has inbuilt evils and disobedience without staying holy Word inspiration and Holy Spirit supernatural protection n powers o gifts for us from heavenly windows, now we're still available to any sinners and unbelievers, but we will b sought for! I love Bro. Rogers and I am sad I never met him in this pilgrimage on earth. However, I am thrilled to be blessed by hearing him preach the Word of God even when it is not a feel good, "God is Love", lovey-dovey sermon preached to make a person feel good about themselves. This sermon certainly put me under conviction and repentance. I am shocked God loves me enough to have his only begotten Son crucified for my sins. I am ashamed but the Comforter will guide me. Thank you Lord Jesus for this message and this ministry!

This is what teaching the word of God is all about. Pointing our shortcomings to realize we need to step up to the plate. Many churches are timid because people might feel offended. Well, this is egocentric and The Lord hates that. The Bible is all about God’s instructions for us to merit the kingdom of heaven. Wipe your feet before entering the kingdom. Pastor Rogers is a REAL teacher of the word. Many churches today give you the goody goody messages as not to lose members. Well, those who have ears let him hear what the Lord is saying! Thank you Pastor Rogers.
