Then return to being criminals and go back to Stilwater, which was sort of hinted at the end of Saints Row 3 then they forgot about it. Maybe Dex can be the new ruler of Ultor and introduce brand new gangs to fight.

One MAJOR and I mean MAJOR thing I still miss from SR2 and even though it seems small andI knew as soon as it was removed in SR3, the series was stripping away the detail that made SR2 so good... The ability to pick up DAMN NEAR ANYTHING and use it as a weapon or THROW it.

My ideal saints row sequel would be like this: After the events of Saints Row 2 Corporate Warfare DLC, The Boss goes to the city where Dex fled to kill him but the city is owned by Ultor. Dex is also not found yet since he is on the move after hearing the Boss is hunting him down. The city is also filled with rival gang factions. The Boss has to recruit new members for the Saints in order to help him chase down Dex, defeat the rival gangs and claim the city for their own. He would also find those who are allied with Dex and extract information from them to find Dex. Then the ending would be the Saints storming the place where Dex is hiding. The place is guarded with Ultor Security Guards. The Boss then has a gunfight with Dex. There would be three options: Kill Dex, spare Dex and recruit him as a member of the Saints or leave him and let him be arrested by the police. This just my fan made story that I thought up tho.
I am from the third generation of Saints Row fans. SR3 was the first game I playedm but I have since played all four games. I even bought an Xbox 360 and ordered in one of the last two brand new copies of SR1 left in my entire country! If I may make a suggestion for Saints Row 5. 1st, I'd opt for a bridge connecting Stilwater, Steelport and whatever other cities they include in the game, or at least the option to teleport to these locations. 2nd, obviously I'd like to see the earth restored.I think that's the direction they are going in with the time travel cliffhanger. 3rd, this is a solution to the super powers. In the SR3 DLC you could get slipped the irradiated Saints Flow which gives you the ability to run and shoot fireballs. I must have played that level a million times. What I propose is this: for the D-pad selection have one slot for grenades, one slot for food, one slot for drugs, and one slot for irradiated Saints Flow. If you select the Saints Flow can, it will give you the super powers switching to the SR4 controls. Obviously the effect will last only two minutes or five minutes or even ten minutes depending on how powerful the Saints Flow is. Basically, you'd have the option to use the Super Powers without being forced to have them.

SR3 and 4 were awful played both did not like them, however played SR2 that was amazing I still play that today, it's an equal blend between madness and seriousness whereas SR3 and 4 were just madness and crazy and most of the time I am thinking what the hell is going on. To go back to SR2 they need to consider that they need an equal balance of insanity and seriousness, however I do not think that will happen they will probably continue with the total madness of SR3 and 4.

To put this out there, the superpowers in Saints Row IV are just part of a simulation. Yes, the aliens are real, but the superpowers are technically just a VR experience. Sp, even in the scifi over-the-top action game that SR4 is, they still had some form of realism. Now, in Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell, which IS a spin-off and not technically Saints Row 5, the supernatural powers are real. But, since it isn't officially Saints Row 5, there's the spin-off that took the ridiculousness to the next level.
+dannylamb456 Nah, I'd say the end result of SRIV does feel like a complete game rather than a SRIII expansion, it's just that some of these issues with IV make more sense when you learn what it was originally planned to be. As for the glitches, at least, most of the ones that were not in SRIII, they're typically obviously deliberately inputted, not hand waived accidents. I wouldn't be surprised if some of the Rift People might have started as accidents but most of the "glitches" in SRIV were planned and created that way.
The original SR4 was supposed to be a game where you fight against a Evil Johny Gat Clone who's a boss of a crime syndicate. I don't remember how the gangs looked except the fact that one of them was a *Soviet Russia Gang* with Stalin as the Boss

Your Blood Dragon thing is something that could saved the entire thing, they could have used that Gat Out of Hell ending where they become a police unit and that could have been the story for SR4, except have it be called something different and not SR4. I don't think anyone would have minded it as a spin off game.
Perfect representation of how Saints Row has evolved and what it is today. I am not an OG fan since I bought SR1 when SR2 was already out but I can call myself a big fan because of how much I love the first 2 (SR2 is in my top 10 games.) I thought Saints Row 4 was good and the story was funny but the difference between Saints Row now(SR The Third and SR4) and Saints Row then(SR1 and 2) is the fact that the replay value of the first 2 are sky high and I still play them today while my SR3 collects dust on my games rack untouched. The evolution of this franchise is mind boggling and the fact we will never get another great game worth playing way past the release date is simply depressing. The lack of a great city like Stilwater and a watered down customization system seems unacceptable. either Volition are only putting half the effort in making games like they used to or they are putting the effort in all the wrong places...
SR4 seems like a spinoff because it was meant to be a DLC, but got turned into a whole game because their original idea for SR4 would have taken too long to make, and would have released on the last gen consoles after the current gen consoles launched. The original idea was pretty weird too, I think something to do with Evil Gat (the clone) cloning a bunch of historical figures like Genghis Khan to take over the world or something. They told the public about it in a live stream a couple weeks ago.
15:20 was on point hahaha Ahh, really though. I love SR2. It's my favourite PS3 game. I LOVED the black humour, and preferred it many times over the GTA universe and such. It was the right stimulating balance of gory and hilarious. But when I bought SR3 without reading any reviews, I was seriously cut. I had such admiration for the Boss, but the way they changed him, and the whole plot... It's just not my kind of game anymore. So I keep playing SR2 over and over, because honestly, what a beautiful game that was. Some of the best, I reckon. (Also, it's ridiculous how much I valued Male and Female voice 3 in SR2 because I was so used to the Boss as a Spanish bastard that when SR3 came around I wasn't able to get used to the fact that he didn't sound the same. I might be a bitch for whining about this but I love my fluff. So wtf happened to the multiculturalism lmao)

THQ went bankrupt and so the DLC was abandoned until Violation found another publisher. As they were short on money and time, the DLC was padded out and turned into a "sequel".
I would say that saints row 4 is my type of game. I love the fast paced game play(but at sometimes it gets repetitive) and I love the humor. it's like a American dad game with no American dad.
SR 2 is the definitive game of the series, the amount of care, attention and love they put in was staggering. I still play it at least once a week (since it's release) and i'm still seeing new things, just earlier today someone got down and did their shoelaces and I couldn't believe i'd never seen it before. Things npc's say as well, i'm always hearing new stuff, it's extraordinary, games like SR2 really don't come along very often.

At the end of saints row 4 campaign it says u can go back in time so at the start of saints row 5 u should be able to go back, change everything, kill zinyak before he blows up earth and carry on the story line going back home to gang filled Stillwater.
If Rockstar were to make GTA V Red Dead Redemption, it would of kept the realistic feeling and mechanisms. Saints Row on the other hand, completely changed their series... from being a dark gang warfare game that actually made you have the feels to some stupid ass fucking childish game. If only Saints Row were to bring back the feeling I had back in 2006 when I got Saints Row day one.

GTA knock off? I would rather have two games with a better story, better city, more customization, and more features than two newer games that are also knock offs of many other games. Saints Row 3 had tanks and dildos, which were in gta, Saints Row 4 was just Prototype in a different setting. SR4 also had many weapons that were 'knock off' from other games. I do not understand how so many people are glad that the series has stopped being a 'gta clone' yet, praise the newer titles for being clones from other games as well.

Saints Row was always different because it was centered around a gang, GTA games has been centered around the protagonists (You might argue that San Anderas is closed to it because it actually had gang elements, but it was still centered around CJ). Saints Row had different mechanics, story elements, controls, customization, the ability to change your sex, race, voice, etc, it was also one of the few open world games that actually had co-op and multiplayer, your phone can now be used as hub, you have many activities that were new and wacky, you could be able to pick a song from each station, and gang members are more responsive when your character makes an action than Grove Street members in San Anderas. You people look at the first two games as clones because they are games where you can "kill people in a city and do whatever you want" just like in GTA. Instead of *ACTUALLY* taking the time to notice the differences between GTA Saints Row, how about we just called the other series a clone just because they are both in the same genre. Would you really considered Saints Row 2's intense gameplay to be way too similar as GTA 4's realistic gameplay?
***** Saints Row 1 is about a guy going from nothing to something through gang violence and turf wars. Sand Andreas in a nutshell. Customizations doesn't change the fact that most people enjoyed 1 and 2 only for it's story. Which is quite similar to San Andreas with loads of betrayal as a theme (Like Julius and Troy). Saint's Row 2 is just a more fleshed out rip off of San Andreas with better graphics and more intricate GTA style gameplay. This time you go from being something to being everything. Saints Row 3 is where it delves off from the typical rip off, to a rip off with crazy new additions and more fun aspect in general rather than just appealing to people who love the idea of being a cold blooded gangster killing machine and adding in more comedic elements. The dildo in San Andreas pales in comparision to the dildo BAT (Not a dildo. A dildo BAT). And there's also the sewer shark shotgun. There's the mind control RPG. And something else I might be missing. Saints Row 4 goes off and stops being a GTA rip off and decides to become not a rip off, but a massive homage to a shit ton of stuff, that gets it right with the comedic gameplay. It's not boring. It's fun. Because you aren't spending 15 minutes just driving around town to get to a destination. And the super powers are crazy to. If anything Saints Row 1 and 2 should never have been games because they sorely lack in the general fun department compared to the next two games. They should have been gangster movies. And anyone who thinks the comedy is better in 2 should be hanged IMO. Because if anything, many people told me that they laughed, not when Johnny was told to help clean up after killing that Ronin in Aisha's house, but when he killed the guy for saying he'd die before telling them anything (I think that's why he killed him). That's not laughing at anything funny. That's just laughing because you're no better a person that Johnny himself. And last time I checked he isn't a very virtuous man when it comes to being a decent human being. Being a badass doesn't equate to having enough heart to not want to murder everything that just so happens to cross your path.

I made a forum on the Saints Row website about Saints Row 5. They should make time travel in Saints Row 5, those people in the pods, I remember one, I believe her name was Mary and she was from the past.. this gave me the idea. If they made time travel the main thing for Saints Row 5, we could get futuristic items, go back to the past with them and just destroy shit, and vise versa. We could have TONSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS of weapons, vehicles, clothes, enemies and places to visit. Here picture this, fighting fucking t-rexes and other dinosaurs but then in another mission we fight giant robots, everyone would get everything (at least most), you could go back and visit your Saints Row 2 self (just got this idea now ->) And maybe for one of the last missions you have to get your gang from Saints Row 1-4/5 (If they add anyone new) and all of them at once facing all of the old enemy gangs, a giant war! And the last mission, you have to go to back to Saints Row 1 and save yourself from the explosion, or Saints Row 4 and stop Zinyak from coming in the first place. Then it can have it's original identity back. If anyone out that from the people who made Saints Row read this. Use this idea, I won't ask a penny from you.

I think they went that direction with the game because of R*. I think they should make sort of like a Reboot taking the game back to the end of SR2 When that Dex guy escapes. He could escape To Steelport and you chase him down. Then when you get there you find out more gangs *The syndicate* reside there, But ran by Dex. Ability to travel to and from Stilwater-Steelport. Then thats where you meet Oleg, Viola, Ect. And they help you take Dex down. But it would take shit tons of Memory and Data so it would be out on next gen consoles.
I wouldn't mind something like. And honestly? They DID open up the possibility of being able to do a sort of reboot without ignoring SR3 or 4. I mean, they DO have a bloody Time Machine. It wouldn't be too huge of a stretch to say that they went back to maybe alter an event in the past, like maybe saving Aisha(something I'd wager Gat would actually WANT to do), but in doing so, completely changing how the future turned out. STAG never existed, the Saints aren't the celebrities they once were, Zinyak never invaded. Admittedly, I did like some of the things from SR3 and 4...but that was mostly the vehicles and weapons, damn that jet was fun.

Like you said Flippy, this isn't Saints Row anymore. My friend always tells me that the classics are better, and hes right! SR2 was better than SR3 in my opinion but SR4... it wasn't even about the saints anymore... It was about aliens and powers. After they blew up the Earth in Saints Row 4 there's no way they can go back to the Gangsta genre that Saints Row 2 and Saints Row 3 had. Even if volition go back to Stilwater, in the simulator or back in time or something like that, it will most likely be nothing like SR2 or SR1, not because of the graphics, but because that you know Stilwater ain't real anymore and the story will probably be like SR4. SR4 honestly shouldn't have been called SR4 due to it's new Storyline. It should have been a seperate era/story. I also hated that they didn't let me as an Australian play with my American buddy. Very unfair.

That would actually be a great idea, but honestly, a prequel would be the only shot of redemption for this franchise since sr4 was fucking stupid. I would like to see a prequel to the whole series where you play as a friend of Julius and Ben King who ran in their crew before the saints even existed that takes place in maybe the late 80's early 90's, or a game that takes place between 1 and 2, putting you in the shoes of a saint, that witnesses the downfall of the gang first hand, during the boss's coma, which I'm sure the developers of the game forgot that this ever fucking happened, but then again, the dev team doesn't give a shit about the fanbase so I doubt they would ever listen to me.

- More varieties of civilians.

My ideal saints row sequel would be like this:
After the events of Saints Row 2 Corporate Warfare DLC, The Boss goes to the city where Dex fled to kill him but the city is owned by Ultor. Dex is also not found yet since he is on the move after hearing the Boss is hunting him down. The city is also filled with rival gang factions. The Boss has to recruit new members for the Saints in order to help him chase down Dex, defeat the rival gangs and claim the city for their own. He would also find those who are allied with Dex and extract information from them to find Dex. Then the ending would be the Saints storming the place where Dex is hiding. The place is guarded with Ultor Security Guards. The Boss then has a gunfight with Dex. There would be three options: Kill Dex, spare Dex and recruit him as a member of the Saints or leave him and let him be arrested by the police. This just my fan made story that I thought up tho.

I am from the third generation of Saints Row fans. SR3 was the first game I playedm but I have since played all four games. I even bought an Xbox 360 and ordered in one of the last two brand new copies of SR1 left in my entire country!
If I may make a suggestion for Saints Row 5.
1st, I'd opt for a bridge connecting Stilwater, Steelport and whatever other cities they include in the game, or at least the option to teleport to these locations.
2nd, obviously I'd like to see the earth restored.I think that's the direction they are going in with the time travel cliffhanger.
3rd, this is a solution to the super powers. In the SR3 DLC you could get slipped the irradiated Saints Flow which gives you the ability to run and shoot fireballs. I must have played that level a million times. What I propose is this: for the D-pad selection have one slot for grenades, one slot for food, one slot for drugs, and one slot for irradiated Saints Flow. If you select the Saints Flow can, it will give you the super powers switching to the SR4 controls. Obviously the effect will last only two minutes or five minutes or even ten minutes depending on how powerful the Saints Flow is. Basically, you'd have the option to use the Super Powers without being forced to have them.
I would like a height option in the character creation because playing the most muscular makes you look like a dwarfed Hulk.

SR3 and 4 were awful played both did not like them, however played SR2 that was amazing I still play that today, it's an equal blend between madness and seriousness whereas SR3 and 4 were just madness and crazy and most of the time I am thinking what the hell is going on. To go back to SR2 they need to consider that they need an equal balance of insanity and seriousness, however I do not think that will happen they will probably continue with the total madness of SR3 and 4.

Yes, the aliens are real, but the superpowers are technically just a VR experience. Sp, even in the scifi over-the-top action game that SR4 is, they still had some form of realism.
Now, in Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell, which IS a spin-off and not technically Saints Row 5, the supernatural powers are real. But, since it isn't officially Saints Row 5, there's the spin-off that took the ridiculousness to the next level.

As for the glitches, at least, most of the ones that were not in SRIII, they're typically obviously deliberately inputted, not hand waived accidents. I wouldn't be surprised if some of the Rift People might have started as accidents but most of the "glitches" in SRIV were planned and created that way.

Your Blood Dragon thing is something that could saved the entire thing, they could have used that Gat Out of Hell ending where they become a police unit and that could have been the story for SR4, except have it be called something different and not SR4. I don't think anyone would have minded it as a spin off game.

I am not an OG fan since I bought SR1 when SR2 was already out but I can call myself a big fan because of how much I love the first 2 (SR2 is in my top 10 games.)
I thought Saints Row 4 was good and the story was funny but the difference between Saints Row now(SR The Third and SR4) and Saints Row then(SR1 and 2)
is the fact that the replay value of the first 2 are sky high and I still play them today while my SR3 collects dust on my games rack untouched. The evolution of this franchise is mind boggling and the fact we will never get another great game worth playing way past the release date is simply depressing.

SR4 seems like a spinoff because it was meant to be a DLC, but got turned into a whole game because their original idea for SR4 would have taken too long to make, and would have released on the last gen consoles after the current gen consoles launched. The original idea was pretty weird too, I think something to do with Evil Gat (the clone) cloning a bunch of historical figures like Genghis Khan to take over the world or something. They told the public about it in a live stream a couple weeks ago.

Ahh, really though. I love SR2. It's my favourite PS3 game. I LOVED the black humour, and preferred it many times over the GTA universe and such. It was the right stimulating balance of gory and hilarious. But when I bought SR3 without reading any reviews, I was seriously cut. I had such admiration for the Boss, but the way they changed him, and the whole plot... It's just not my kind of game anymore. So I keep playing SR2 over and over, because honestly, what a beautiful game that was. Some of the best, I reckon.
(Also, it's ridiculous how much I valued Male and Female voice 3 in SR2 because I was so used to the Boss as a Spanish bastard that when SR3 came around I wasn't able to get used to the fact that he didn't sound the same. I might be a bitch for whining about this but I love my fluff. So wtf happened to the multiculturalism lmao)

I thought that Saints row 4 went from being a standalone-dlc (like Far cry Blood Dragon) to becoming "SRIV" when THQ failed and when Volition was acquired by Deep silver they made that decision (maybe for economic reasons?)

While SR4 did start out as a piece of DLC. It was mit turned into a sequel as it got "too big" at all.
THQ went bankrupt and so the DLC was abandoned until Violation found another publisher.
As they were short on money and time, the DLC was padded out and turned into a "sequel".
I would say that saints row 4 is my type of game. I love the fast paced game play(but at sometimes it gets repetitive) and I love the humor. it's like a American dad game with no American dad.

SR 2 is the definitive game of the series, the amount of care, attention and love they put in was staggering. I still play it at least once a week (since it's release) and i'm still seeing new things, just earlier today someone got down and did their shoelaces and I couldn't believe i'd never seen it before. Things npc's say as well, i'm always hearing new stuff, it's extraordinary, games like SR2 really don't come along very often.
A remake of Saints Row 1 would be awesome!

If Rockstar were to make GTA V Red Dead Redemption, it would of kept the realistic feeling and mechanisms. Saints Row on the other hand, completely changed their series... from being a dark gang warfare game that actually made you have the feels to some stupid ass fucking childish game. If only Saints Row were to bring back the feeling I had back in 2006 when I got Saints Row day one.

GTA knock off? I would rather have two games with a better story, better city, more customization, and more features than two newer games that are also knock offs of many other games. Saints Row 3 had tanks and dildos, which were in gta, Saints Row 4 was just Prototype in a different setting. SR4 also had many weapons that were 'knock off' from other games. I do not understand how so many people are glad that the series has stopped being a 'gta clone' yet, praise the newer titles for being clones from other games as well.

Saints Row was always different because it was centered around a gang, GTA games has been centered around the protagonists (You might argue that San Anderas is closed to it because it actually had gang elements, but it was still centered around CJ). Saints Row had different mechanics, story elements, controls, customization, the ability to change your sex, race, voice, etc, it was also one of the few open world games that actually had co-op and multiplayer, your phone can now be used as hub, you have many activities that were new and wacky, you could be able to pick a song from each station, and gang members are more responsive when your character makes an action than Grove Street members in San Anderas. You people look at the first two games as clones because they are games where you can "kill people in a city and do whatever you want" just like in GTA. Instead of *ACTUALLY* taking the time to notice the differences between GTA Saints Row, how about we just called the other series a clone just because they are both in the same genre. Would you really considered Saints Row 2's intense gameplay to be way too similar as GTA 4's realistic gameplay?
***** Saints Row 1 is about a guy going from nothing to something through gang violence and turf wars. Sand Andreas in a nutshell. Customizations doesn't change the fact that most people enjoyed 1 and 2 only for it's story. Which is quite similar to San Andreas with loads of betrayal as a theme (Like Julius and Troy).
Saint's Row 2 is just a more fleshed out rip off of San Andreas with better graphics and more intricate GTA style gameplay. This time you go from being something to being everything.
Saints Row 3 is where it delves off from the typical rip off, to a rip off with crazy new additions and more fun aspect in general rather than just appealing to people who love the idea of being a cold blooded gangster killing machine and adding in more comedic elements. The dildo in San Andreas pales in comparision to the dildo BAT (Not a dildo. A dildo BAT). And there's also the sewer shark shotgun. There's the mind control RPG. And something else I might be missing.
Saints Row 4 goes off and stops being a GTA rip off and decides to become not a rip off, but a massive homage to a shit ton of stuff, that gets it right with the comedic gameplay. It's not boring. It's fun. Because you aren't spending 15 minutes just driving around town to get to a destination. And the super powers are crazy to. If anything Saints Row 1 and 2 should never have been games because they sorely lack in the general fun department compared to the next two games. They should have been gangster movies. And anyone who thinks the comedy is better in 2 should be hanged IMO. Because if anything, many people told me that they laughed, not when Johnny was told to help clean up after killing that Ronin in Aisha's house, but when he killed the guy for saying he'd die before telling them anything (I think that's why he killed him). That's not laughing at anything funny. That's just laughing because you're no better a person that Johnny himself. And last time I checked he isn't a very virtuous man when it comes to being a decent human being. Being a badass doesn't equate to having enough heart to not want to murder everything that just so happens to cross your path.

I made a forum on the Saints Row website about Saints Row 5.
They should make time travel in Saints Row 5, those people in the pods, I remember one, I believe her name was Mary and she was from the past.. this gave me the idea.
If they made time travel the main thing for Saints Row 5, we could get futuristic items, go back to the past with them and just destroy shit, and vise versa.
We could have TONSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS of weapons, vehicles, clothes, enemies and places to visit.
Here picture this, fighting fucking t-rexes and other dinosaurs but then in another mission we fight giant robots, everyone would get everything (at least most), you could go back and visit your Saints Row 2 self (just got this idea now ->) And maybe for one of the last missions you have to get your gang from Saints Row 1-4/5 (If they add anyone new) and all of them at once facing all of the old enemy gangs, a giant war!
And the last mission, you have to go to back to Saints Row 1 and save yourself from the explosion, or Saints Row 4 and stop Zinyak from coming in the first place. Then it can have it's original identity back.
If anyone out that from the people who made Saints Row read this. Use this idea, I won't ask a penny from you.

I think they went that direction with the game because of R*. I think they should make sort of like a Reboot taking the game back to the end of SR2 When that Dex guy escapes. He could escape To Steelport and you chase him down. Then when you get there you find out more gangs *The syndicate* reside there, But ran by Dex. Ability to travel to and from Stilwater-Steelport. Then thats where you meet Oleg, Viola, Ect. And they help you take Dex down. But it would take shit tons of Memory and Data so it would be out on next gen consoles.

I wouldn't mind something like. And honestly? They DID open up the possibility of being able to do a sort of reboot without ignoring SR3 or 4. I mean, they DO have a bloody Time Machine. It wouldn't be too huge of a stretch to say that they went back to maybe alter an event in the past, like maybe saving Aisha(something I'd wager Gat would actually WANT to do), but in doing so, completely changing how the future turned out. STAG never existed, the Saints aren't the celebrities they once were, Zinyak never invaded.
Admittedly, I did like some of the things from SR3 and 4...but that was mostly the vehicles and weapons, damn that jet was fun.

Playing pimp my ride and protect the pimp, taking a knee and chowing down a burger to replenish health, hearing those pipe bombs landing and smashing down the sprint button to get away. Like you said Flippy, this isn't Saints Row anymore. My friend always tells me that the classics are better, and hes right! SR2 was better than SR3 in my opinion but SR4... it wasn't even about the saints anymore... It was about aliens and powers. After they blew up the Earth in Saints Row 4 there's no way they can go back to the Gangsta genre that Saints Row 2 and Saints Row 3 had. Even if volition go back to Stilwater, in the simulator or back in time or something like that, it will most likely be nothing like SR2 or SR1, not because of the graphics, but because that you know Stilwater ain't real anymore and the story will probably be like SR4. SR4 honestly shouldn't have been called SR4 due to it's new Storyline. It should have been a seperate era/story. I also hated that they didn't let me as an Australian play with my American buddy. Very unfair.

When you finish the game if you went to the final boss with all the friend missions completed you will have a separated ending that speaks of time travel,
so they can do it but probably won't

That would actually be a great idea, but honestly, a prequel would be the only shot of redemption for this franchise since sr4 was fucking stupid. I would like to see a prequel to the whole series where you play as a friend of Julius and Ben King who ran in their crew before the saints even existed that takes place in maybe the late 80's early 90's, or a game that takes place between 1 and 2, putting you in the shoes of a saint, that witnesses the downfall of the gang first hand, during the boss's coma, which I'm sure the developers of the game forgot that this ever fucking happened, but then again, the dev team doesn't give a shit about the fanbase so I doubt they would ever listen to me.
