I am Rebecca and I am one heck of a passionate vocal coach/singer/songwriter/impressionist/health/fitness/self- improvement/anything that makes me smile!! I love anything vocal/singing related and geek out on it every day. I want to motivate and inspire others to follow their dreams…corny? Well maybe but it’s true. So what’s motivating me?? I had a huge tumour removed summer 2017 and my ovaries and fallopian tubes. The tumour was the size of a 20 week baby!! However, despite not being able to walk for a couple of weeks, and feeling generally awful…. It has made me create and do what I love! It wasn’t an easy time but I won’t let fear dictate my life. I didn’t think ‘why me’, there are plenty of horrific issues people have to deal with…it’s not always smooth sailing. It’s true when you hear, ‘Life is short’, the crazy thing is, I am glad it happened…I appreciate life even more and practice gratitude everyday…It’s so easy to get caught up with the little things…and I do sometimes, but look at the bigger picture, will it matter in a year or two…?

What a hard fate this girl Diana had. She did not know her father, the mother was a complete alcoholic and constantly gave birth, of the 8 dead children survived only Diana. Her mother did not feed her, constantly hitting and even tried to drown her in the bathtub but in the end she threw it away in the night like a kitten on the street with a broken collarbone.
Three-year-old Diana was picked up on the street by her own relatives, but since she did not talk at all, they thought that she was mentally retarded and gave her to an orphanage.
From the orphanage, she was taken by her foster mother and in 5 years gave her to vocal courses to develop her speech. It is through the efforts and efforts of the foster mother that we see this unique treasure.

She interpreted this song in a new way. She is the Goddess of Nature in this song ... she says to a human: if you love me, why is the whole world on fire .. true wicker game. Amazing performer. She was born May 31, 2003. In this performance she was 15 y.o.
Diana is more than a singer. She's a hypnotic, mystical actress. 😱 She gave me chills. After each of her songs there are new symptoms of the disease. "Derniere Dance" - I could not stop, broke the repeat button. "River" - I almost drowned in this river. "Blizzard" - just crying, I thought that Diana in this song, too, crying. What a unique voice, God did not give that little girl a voice, he gave her a priceless musical instrument. This girl has so much control in pitch, tone, depth, and overtones. There are tones in her voice that I have only up until now heard from a duduk.

Thank you for your reaction to Diana Ankudinova. Diana actually turned 16 on 31st May 2019, but was 15 at the time of this performance. The show she is on here is Ты супер! (translated as "You are Super") and it is for children who have found themselves without parental care at some point in life. According to the programme, Diana was abused by her biological mother until around the age of 3 years, and ended up in an orphanage. While there, a massage nurse named Irina Ponik took care of her, and a strong bond was formed, to the extent that a year afterward Diana was adopted by Irina, and Irina has been her "Mom" ever since. It seems that for the first year or so Diana would hardly speak, and singing lessons were recommended, and the rest is history. Diana is now with a loving family, and her music training goes from strength to strength. Since winning the show, she has received much support from Igor Krutoy, who was on the judges panel the previous year, and who is one of Russia's foremost composers and song writers. You may have seen him play piano for Dimash sometimes. Diana's cover of "Rechenka" a Russian folk song, on the same show in 2018 is something else, and very much worth watching. She has indeed a great foster family. Especially after the lot of hardship she gone through with her natural mother. It was very close to the point that the world would never enjoyed her fantastic performances.

I'm listening to music for decades and I have a solid musical education, but ... this voice ... sorry ... "a set of voices" in one body I never heard! This kid is a phenomenon! This does not exist on planet Earth! I only hope that in Russia someone takes care that this brilliant does not fall to the average! OMG What a voice! She has absolute mystery about her and her voice is so different and unusual, you can't help but wonder if it's more than one person singing. However, when you listen closely, you realize it's her. That climb, omg! I'd have loved to see how much higher she could go! And I absolutely LOVE this version of Wicked Game - the tribal presentation speaks to the rawness, the wildness of her voice. Definitely not one to miss in the future!
Diana is crazy ( In the best possible way )
Her voice is so special, unique, wonderful, and full of so many levels.
It's haunting in some ways but really gets you, captures you and won't let go until she's finished singing.
I don't know if you've had the chance to hear other things she's sung but i would definitely suggest doing so, you won't be disappointed.
I think she was about 16 when she song this.
There are some when she was around 14 but you'll soon be able to tell when you see those because she seems quite tiny, lol!
However, her voice is still rather special even then.
I'm always amazed at how someone can get the range, tones and quality that she does.

I can no longer remember singers who can compete with them now. But the title of "Russian National Treasure" now deserved only TWO singers: 33-year-old Pelageya and 16-year-old Diana. This title is given for unique vocal skills, human qualities and GREAT LOVE of the people of all ages. In Europe and US, this is equivalent to the title "Living Legend".

I thought about London Grammar as well, and Cher, although Diana goes even deeper. There were moments I was so doubtful that I thought that the mic/computer itself added some kind of an effect to her voice, in a similar way I recall Cher used to be criticised for. But then this could actually be her real voice, which would make her extraterrestrial! One in 7 billion on this planet. What is your assessment?
Wicked Game is one of my favorite songs ever made and this is actually the second time I've heard/seen such a unique arrangement of it. First time it was by _Nina Kraljić,_ a Croatian singer with a phenomenal voice who covered it in a sort of slavic etno style. You gotta check out her performance of Wicked Game on the first Croatian voice(I've already requested her in your community comment section and I won't stop 'till you react to her :P). As for Diana, I've been obsessed with her voice since discovering her about two weeks ago. Can't go a full day without listening to this and Rechenka(another amazing performance you should definitely check out). Looking forward to seeing you react to Nina and /or more of Diana.

A lot of people will recommend "Human" but I would wait with that one. Not at all one of her best, kind of a "one trick song" with mostly deep voice.

Yes, you have to be a hard core Diana fan, which I am, to like "Human" sung all in that low tone. Even I have to admit it kind of sounds like she has a stuffy nose but I really like it! That particular song is an acquired taste but I have acquired it, lol!, If you like her you will like it.

In 2017, Diana took part in the contest “Voice of the Children” of Russia, with the song “Yodel Time”, but the judges did not turn to Diana .. They said they did not know how to work with it .. In 2018 Diana was invited to the competition for children left without parental care, "You're Super!". Diana took 1st place, and as a prize, Russian composer Igor Krutoy presented Diana with an apartment in Moscow. And in 2019 she took part in the superseason of this competition and won the Grand Prix as the best vocalist of all seasons "You're Super!"

OMG, Thank you. Thank you for translation... I follow Diana for quiet time since 2017 but, I cant understand Russian, so I follow her by instincts, and I enjoy every time she gets rewarded or appears in scenes.... Love this young girl, her artistry is huge.
What find most interesting is her ability to use low note resonance to create high frequency harmonics particularly 4th order harmonics.
