I like that he can score and assist, not just a passer or shooter
Nathan MacKinnon is the hardest worker in the entire league and he combines that with elite skill. No one is more dangerous on the ice than him imo-especially in the playoffs. If Celebrini is like 70% of Nate Dawgg I’ll die happy.
Like most of us you can tell you're excited by the tone and inflection in your voice lol
SHould be excited!
Karlsson use to get frustrated with Shark players that did not know where they were supposed to be to receive a pass on the breakout.
Good show!
If eklund had 45 pts in his first full year. What would you project celebrini pts to look like next year if he’s with the sharks?
50pts
300
Kasper Halttunen is going to have more of an impact on the Sharks than any player in history….
Patience, is what I preach. J.d. you’re right, we can go either way with Mac and more than likely be bottom 5. Honestly bottom 3 I’d think. Look at Chicago as example, last year with bedard.
I’m for whatever provides the best development. If winning and dominating ncaa to polish skills. Or test skills and improve under improved talent in nhl for Mac.
I really hope Grier stays the course he’s set. Smart short term value contracts. No big, long term mistakes. Few reclamation projects. If Mac in nhl, and if needed a couple signings for his wings.
Time I believe to see what we have in prospects. Gush, boards, ozzy. (I wonder if they see coe as flip when able, see our contract or if they see something in him time just needs to unlock).
My future goggles on, I see sharks bottom 3 next year. Bottom 10 following at least. IMO we should for next two years still look to be building through youth moves. Build that foundation that will last for over a decade.
3,4,5 years down the road. Say we’re short goalie or D. Grier needs to grab DW’s 2 phones from the desk. Start the search. Ala campbell > Boyle + burns. Should have a full pile of extra prospects and or picks.
Sign $10 mil 2yr deal w/Stammer to 1-T like 40 goals as Celebrini winger
Thank you for bringing me here CZcams tv to news and sports
JD, do you think any of these scenarios are likely?
San Jose trades pick 14 and 33 in exchange for 6th overall pick
San Jose trades pick 14 and 42 in exchange for 7th overall pick
San Jose trades picks 33 and 42 in exchange for 16th or 17th
San Jose trades picks 14, 33, and 42 in exchange (Columbus) for 4th overall pick
If I had to pick one, 14 & 42 for 7
He's not dynamic, so I've heard from scouts. 🙅Here's my comp: He's a combination of Thornton, Marleau and Owen Nolan. 😁
I like that combination.
after listening to JD on this podcast I'd throw in Pavs as well!!
Not dynamic?? He carried team Canada and BU this year. He’s a dawg.
He probably won't help the sharks!
