I recently got the same model as you, the Y1. I saw a lot of interesting recipe om joyoungs website for ice cream, nut butter etc. Do you know if these are possible with this machine, or do you need some other equipment?

Hi thank you for the tutorial. My question is whats the difference between joyoung Y1, Joyyoung XL and Joyoung J1. Im trying to buy one but im not sure which one is better or the latest. The cleaning is so good but i want a big capacity and higher wattage.
Hi, I don't have the XL or J1. The Y1 is big enough for my family of three, which is 600ml. It's powerful and efficient. You may want to check the receiving cup sizes of the other two models.

Hi Evelyn, I actually don’t use any filter for the soy milk. The consistency out of the blender is good to go. The blender comes with a large filter bag if you like the consistency to be ultra smooth. I hope I answered your question.

This oat milk is warm out of the machine. The instant oats I use are MOM's Best Cereals Quick Oats.

Is the chamber made of real glass or plastic? Is the bottom of the chamber that heats up made of plastic or ceramic?
Hi Tina, both chambers are made of glass. I think this material is safe for hot drink or soup.

Where does the pulp go?
There is a collecting unit. For juice or smoothies, there is not pulp.
This machine is great.
Until it fails after 18 months and Joyoung ignore requests for support.
Does it have the quick 10-minute soy-milk function? How do you use it? Thanks.
No it doesn't
Watch out though. It works great until it goes wrong with a fault that you can't fix and Joyoung won't respond.
Mine lasted 18 months. Going by Amazon reviews, some don't even last a year.
Horrible customer service my blender broke after few month and I have been trying ot reach for part replacement and no one is replying on Amazon or email or website chat. It's been months !! Don't buy from this company
