STORY
Nearly 20 years ago, this charming cottage in the Swedish countryside was alive with the love and laughter of a family of three: Nanna, August, and their precious child. The memories they left behind still evoke a fairytale-like atmosphere, offering a glimpse into their idyllic life here. In a picturesque Swedish village, they lived a simple life. August was a hardworking and reliable man, employed at the local paper mill. Nana took care of their child and tended to their home. The house had been gifted to them by August's parents who built it in the early 1900s when the town consisted of only a few houses and theirs stood in isolation.
Their life was filled with routine and cherished moments of beauty until tragedy struck. Their beloved son was involved in a bicycle accident and despite spending countless days in the hospital fighting for his life, he ultimately passed away from his injuries.
The grief that overwhelmed Nanna and August was beyond comprehension, and it forever changed them. Following their final departure in 2003, there were no heirs to take over the property and it was left eerily quiet. The memories of a once beautiful but ultimately tragic life still lingers inside the walls of the home

A Tragic Bicycle Accident Shook this Swedish Family Household!!
#abandoned #explore #exploring - Zábava
This one made me cry. Watching your videos has made me start to get rid of my stuff. Things I don't need and don't want my Son to get stuck with every thing. Give things to people who would want them now not after my death. Thank you guys.
A sad life story marked by a tragic event ! So many precious family memories, left behind!
Thank you for sharing!
Such a SAD, SAD STORY!!!! They looked like such a GREAT COUPLE!!!! I hope they tear the place down though. It looks DANGEROUS!!!!
Thank you Leslie and Danny for showing us this much loved home in Sweden . Love your channel and your attention to detail , with so much respect . Very well done. 👏
Wonderful video as always! This was such a tragic and touching story, and it's always so surreal to see these places left behind with the memories still intact. Thanks for preserving history and telling these people's stories so they will never be forgotten.
A heartbreaking story of a sweet family. I dont blame you for shaking as you entered the home. The decay was really severe. Thank you Danny and Lesley.for your efforts in this video .
Thanks for sharing a sad story we also lost our son
Aww I'm so sorry I lost 2 sons I feel your pain x
The square hand made craft pieces ( in room adjacent to the bedroom) are called "needle point."
This home had higher ceilings than many Swedish homes you have showcased.
How so so sad, I know the experience on losing a child. I know the heart break 💔 to lose a child. 😢 I feel for them even if they are no longer here. God bless them. May god have mercy on their souls 😢. Good job boys.
So sorry for your loss, I cannot imagine the pain of losing a child 😢❤
I am very sorry 😞 this kind of loss has happened to your family too. It affects all the relatives close to you but not like you. My brother lost his oldest son 7 years ago on March 24th and Easter it was 2 years since his wife passed less than 2 days after being diagnosed with acute Lymphocytic Leukemia. This year it hit him very hard. I cannot imagine 😢 💔 😔. We take comfort in knowing we will see them again. Blessings to your family! 🙏🫂
So sad about their life story. Thank you for the tour and history about Sweden, that is where my Great Grandpa was born and I always like learning about Sweden.
Such a sad story, even more so after, that no one was left to take the home over or at least save some of the families memories. I just want to say thank you Leslie, and Danny of course, for letting us go with you to all of these beautiful abandoned places and giving us the stories of the families that lived in them. You tell their stories beautifully with honor and respect to them and are very respectful to the homes and that is wonderful, so thank you again.
I'm going to use your favorite word, WOW! What an entrance! LOL 😆! Another great video! I appreciate what you guys go through to show us the memories and legacy of these people. Thank you so much for taking us with you! 😊❤️
It breaks my heart to see some of these beautiful pieces and items left behind. The horse statues dog and other pieces. I hope someone can get them and give them a good home before they sink with the house
😮It really caught my attention when you said the letter on the table was from Marysville, WA. That's less than 2 hours from where I live. To think you were looking at a letter from this area in an abandoned house in Sweden! So amazing! It so great that you found this home and took the effort to document it before it collapses. I can imagine the sadness that shrouded them after the loss of their only son. 😢 As always, thank you. 😊
Thanks again for your care while showing this place. I love to watch the two of you, you show so much kindness with each house and thier things. The chicken dish is a candy dish.
So wonderful 😊 what beautiful pictures and memories.Do that again please 😢😢.
Interesting fact; the item you call a press I have always known as a “mangler”. My grandma had one that was electric. She told me to stay clear of it when I was a child because it could take an arm off or worse. I was very afraid of it.
Great exploration! Thank you again. Hugs.
Nice exploration once again. Sad tragic loos for the parents tho. God Bless 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Thank you Leslie and Danny another beautiful story and beautiful house x
Thank you guys. Your videos are so well done. The camera work and music choices always add so much to the story. I can't wait till the next adventure,
Hello from Norway I love your videos ❤🇧🇻
This is an inspiration for me, I'm also going to make videos of abandoned places
My boy and his friends do this also
Just inside the door of the sitting room up stairs is a torn picture that appears to be mother and child, and to the left a folded image of the side of a man’s face like a family portrait
God bless you guys

Thank you guys! Wonderful explore! Amazing you managed to get into it and back out :-) I love the old Swedish houses!
Thanks!
A tragedy that had to made the course of their lives in a radical way for sure. This home got to see their happiness and their deep sadness. It is quite something that no one reclaimed anything from this home. Their lives and memories just stayed with them. Thank you for showing us the history of this home.

Hallo
Es war mal eine schöne Zeit in den Haus zu leben ,es sieht gemütlich aus , schön eingerichtet .Schade das es so zerfallen ist .
I love it ❤ cute little house 🏡
Thank u❤🎉😊
My grandma had the same white kagelugn in Torsby, Sweden!
Hey Lesley, I was at first very deeply touched by the sad background story of the son from the former owners passing away due to a tragic bike accident.
Some parts of that house really were looking very sketchy, considering the derelict state of massive decay. I am so glad, that nothing bad happened to you and Danny, because these collapsed parts look very dangerous.
Other rooms still kept a very friendly and harmonious atmosphere, and I loved all these nice decorative items you were focussing on. - Once more excellent camera work from Danny, and I again loved listening to your conversations.
Also beautiful background music!
I so much enjoyed watching and already looking forward to your next explore adventure.
Wishing you all the best, peace and kindest regards.
Thank you
Me encanto la intro DANNY SALUDANDO , CON SU VOZ TAN SUAVE ASI COMO ES EL !!! HOOO!! ES TRISTE LA HISTORIA DE ESTA FAMILIA .. TERRIBLE LA PENA DE PERDER UN HIJO , PERO MUY BELLA ESA CASA . ABRASOS DESDE CHILE 🖐❤🇨🇱

What a heartbreaking story! It’s so sad they lost their only child & abandoned their home! I love how you bring their story to life again! Still an awesome video bro’s! ❤️😘👍🤘
Très belle vidéo mais tellement triste 👍👌😟
Very sad sad lost of words
Looks like it was a sweet cozy little home at one time ❤
More common than the little windmill you showed is the angel candle chimes next to it
Good video 😀
Always wiatching u from phil mindanao
Lesley, why are you sitting in a hole? 😅 A very sad but also splendid video! 😢 😊
Dear friend.... they don't laugh at the ruins of a house.... thanks....
Another sad story from the Bros of decay. We can see this home is not comming back. You have to wonder where did the people go. It looks like they didnt have much money to go anywhere. I often say I hope they had happy lives in these homes you show. In this home its not the case. To lose a child is something I hope I never know. It must be really hard to go through. I hope they find peace in there lives where ever they wind up. I will wait until next week for the new show. You two stay safe and thanks for your show.
I agree with someone questioning why you two aren’t wearing masks, with all this dust around it is so dangerous to your health! You really should consider this when doing your explorations! Great and respectful video!
Very sad😢😮❤❤
🕸🙇♀️”..So lovely house, filled by amazing stuff! while the memories..what a sad story inside. I’m grieving 🥀🍂
Спасибо за субтитры.
Good afternoon gentlemen ♥️♥️✌️
Maravilhoso!🤩❤👍
Boa noite gosto muito de seus vídeos Deus abençoe ❤❤❤❤
I love the wallpapers!
Horse shoes on house means luck comes in upside down luck leaves with you. From Kansas
Sooooo sad to see this!! This would literally be my dream house. I know it's against the rules.. but since this house is literally about to collapse, if I were exploring it, I would actually feel bad for not saving some of the stuff inside. I'd have to take the curtains, at least 😭😭😭 such a tragedy
A hen like thing is used to store the eggs it is used for it I hope it helps you ❤😊
Because the winter is so dark and cold.
I remember this house from Explomo 😀
The cat picture is a pun poster. There's an old ideom in Sweden where you use "katten" (The cat) and sometimes a variation as "kattsingen", as a curse word instead of "damn" or "for crying out loud" or something similar. So what the poster is actually saying is "Where the hell is the money going?" but well... the picture is taking the ideom into a literal picture of a kitten playing with the money.
Wow
Heyyy hoş geldiniz ❤
Very beautiful video
Regard’s from Mumbai India
The stuffed bird, I thought was an owl..great video but sad
