Glad to see you back!
Been waiting for a new video man! Keep it up 👍🏻
Really enjoyed the ridealong. Great commentary....and loved the video riding...thanks.
Glad you enjoyed it
Amazing video brother u shouls get 10k views by next week 💪i be smoking big blunt watching ur video after long day of doing delivery
26:36 Thats so true lol. You can usually predict the bad drivers based on their "body language" lol
💯
Enjoyed this
congratulations on this video buddy you got more views than I did in the same time frame for my last vid - keep going!
Any day I can beat the most prolific CZcamsr in the history of CZcams, it's a good day! ;) jk thanks Yogi Steve
My v13 is missing a few screws since I did the motor bolt swap. I just shrug it off and ride anyway since the internals are also waterproofed. Your videos get me so hyped. It's ridiculous but my dream is to do what you do. I don't want to do anything except ride race and deliver. Never forget yous a rider for life.
🤘
Yo, cool video format! Consider a rechargeable hand warmer that you can rubber band to your rode mic receiver to keep the batteries warm when it's cold. Your gopro might have issues this winter, too... Keep the batteries warm, somehow!
good idea! I've been thinking of doing something similar because I really want to use the rode mics!
I always order on Uber Eats and here in Los Angeles if you don’t tip well it takes forever to get your order. I always tip $5 but it’s not more than 12 minutes for my orders
I call those things sliders.... helps protect the body.
The newer EUCs, When the power is low it slows down till it stops. Great safety feature.
that is a good feature!
No, if a hall sensor fails it slows down, nothing to do with battery percentage.
@@hogpitnyc266 If the battery goes low enough it does slow down to a stop.
EUC's scare the crap out of me! Much respect hitting it 12 hours in Manhattan. Stay safe!
@12:40 I shouldnt be laughin this hard .. the sound effect goes crazy 😂
it really does lmao
If your a professional you'll get an extra 250 from uber as per the adjustment.
I hear you on the losing screws thing. So irritating. Sure, the "use an ice cube tray to hold the screws" trick works when you can do it, but it feels like whenever you actually need to disassemble something, you're a thousand miles from anything like that at that moment.
Yeah I’m always losing screws
I ran my segway euc to zero battery. It just got slower and slower and had crazy tilt back. Eventually it slowed down to 1mph. Which to be honest still beat walking. It eventually completely died.
man, i just don't trust my safety when the battery is low. better safe than sorry imo
Let’s gooooo a new video 💪
Bro, I have to ask because I never know for sure... aren't you also adrian gado on youtube? 🤔
@@ETAonTheEUCyes lol. I watch videos on the Gado account because I have CZcams premium on there
Your EUC won't 'just fall' when running out of battery. It will slow down, beep and do tiltback depending on the model. There is no danger to running the battery to 0%. Eventually you can't ride it and will have to push it. You could grab on to the back of a truck or something and let it drag you for a while, while you are braking to regenerate some battery.
Yeah, I know they won't just fall randomly without some forewarning or safety feature first. Sometimes I just say things lazily, but I definitely need more education on the safety features, for sure! Haha, the regenerate your brakes while being pulled by a pickup truck is a new one! lol
Keep it up, always waiting your new video !
You should have gotten a magnetic tray while you were at home depot. Keeps your screws from getting lost. Also go to a bike shop and get a multitool
good idea!
let me get this clear© so if i get an uber offer for $7.50 going 3.5mil, and it takes me 30min to complete the delivery, thats $15 because its half hour now since the offer was $7.50 now they are just gonna pay me the difference, which i another $7.50. which means i only make $15 total, not $7.50 offer plus $15 for half hour ??? Welp.!.
This looks like it could be a good time. Just cruising around delivering food on an EUC... But I have way too much anxiety to do it, especially in NYC with all those cars weaving in and out of lanes. It's bad enough over here in NJ, but it looks really relaxing from your point of view.
I used to drive in Manhattan all the time - after a while when I found a good rate, a few blocks, maybe eight blocks from my studio … I kept my car there, so that when I lived there so I can go home weekends (versus just my dad driving in to see me or my mom taking the train and the occasional visit from a cousin, or aunts) and doctors appointment I had biweekly in Maryland, etc.
Now I haven’t driven myself in Manhattan in decades. It’s been probably 15 years since I was with my husband even doing it.
I’ve driven right past going to Long Island. But I have not stopped in Manhattan. I think I’m chicken to now although I probably would catch up pretty fast.
The biggest thing is cars crossing out in front of you from the car lane, passing the bike lane, into another road. This is the biggest danger because they don't see you. But overall, considering how busy it is here, it's relatively safe if you're mostly a predictable rider yourself
For DD, since they give you a drop off ETA, where you can potentially get a contract violation for being too late, are you able to really milk the time for the $29.93 mandate? I can see not being in a rush waiting on the order but if I still have to complete delivery by a specific time I'm not sure I'd wanna milk the time right? Or do you now not have a drop off ETA because of this new mandate?
I doubt DD took away contract violations due to being "excessively late to pickup or dropoff". Pretty sure you can still get those, but I haven't got one in over a year so I'm probably not the one to ask...
Man it's so tempting for me to move over to nyc and do delivery full time now. I miss doing it in pandemic when the streets were empty. I wanna move to nyc and try out the 30$ an hour. I'd probably be working 12 hour days if I was able to that's huge. The markets completely dead in California.
You won’t like it don’t come here if your not from here
@@ebig733 winkwink yeah it's "awful" lmao
@@dictionplacement5467 people think they can just move here and be a door dasher and adjust their lifestyle but it’s doesn’t work like that
Nyc here we come! You can walk around and make $30/hr for 2 delvry a hr ebt!
@@tomn9097 go back to where you came from
metric vs. imperial screws. Better to know their diameter before popping into a shop.
Do you track how busy you are with active time compared to actual time on average? Basically, are you on active time for majority of your shift?
I try to stay as active as possible while out since the new law started. On DoorDash this week it says I was on active time 3h16m and did regular time of 5h40m. Uber is probably slighter higher on active time vs regular time for me. Seasons play a big role in this too. When it gets slower you'll obviously see the active time drop, but right now I'm probably around at least 1/2 - 3/4 active time overall?
Could you please advise which wrist phone holder do you use? I see it's very convenient. Thank you.
The wrist holder I use is in the description under the video 👍
Oh))) thank you!
Must be amazing and expensive to live in NYC with a EUC. I live in boring Jacksonville NC and no fun places to ride.
Is it true now that Uber does not show you guys the Tips upfront anymore? ands you only get to see any Tip after you have delivered, because Uber has raised delivery fees and now tells customers basically they don't have to worry about tipping anymore
From what I understand, the big apps (uber eats, doordash, grubhub) have removed tipping to only after the delivery is completed. I went to deliver some food yesterday and the customer answered the door and asked me how does he tip with the new system. I told him, "i'm not sure, but they should have a way after the delivery is completed". This hinted to me that the apps are perhaps not making it obvious the customers can even tip after orders anymore, because almost no one is tipping after the mandate
🔥 I hear Uber is doing schedules in January
They already started 😢
yup. in my market it starts jan. 1st, 2024
@@ETAonTheEUC our market, as well as I also deliver in NYC, and this thing is ridiculous. At this rate people might have to either go out of the boroughs to get their regular pay and freedom.
Shit started in 2020
Wait, how does it work with multi apping, if you try to accept orders from both apps? Can you theoretically make 60$ an hour of active time?
yeah, theoretically. but pretty sure the apps will be trying to stop this by forcing us to single app via restrictions. Right now is the glory time before restrictions come into play, so take advantage is my advice
Before the hourly wage implementation, we would make more money by completing orders faster and rushing. Now, there’s absolutely no reason to do that. I personally don’t purposely slow down orders but I have quit rushing through orders and focus more on safely getting to dropoffs. When multiapping stacked orders, it’s important to be fast though but I can only get on Uber these days since GH always says “there’s enough drivers on the road”
yeah, it's weird to walk into a shop & pay and not feel rushed. That was the worst pressure
Did you buy lock tight?
yes
@27:15
Unicide in 3 . . 2 . . 1 . .
can you update us tomorrow if they added the pay adjustment on thursday
nevermind, they just added the adjustment pay to me
yeah, i just saw mine just now as well
@@ETAonTheEUC yeah its pretty awesome lol, i had 30 something hours on uber and got paid over 1k and only like 42 minutes on doordash and they still adjusted that too lol, and my rent is only $800 for a 2 bedroom steal in brooklyn. bout to be living like a king lol
@@ETAonTheEUC they should re-name it active minute not active hour lol since they technically pay you .50 per active minute

riding in the city normaly seems real chill. u think i can do it as a tourist i ride an exn
yeah. just stick to the bike lanes until you feel comfortable, and be a predictable driver and you should be good!
12:42 Is that a hoverboard?
that, or a segway
14:00 was on purpose.
you got so many new screennames on here I almost wanna spam your comment with my videos lol

Used to make over 500 now over 1000
nice!
14:05 you evaded automatically? And they didnt even look in mirrors..
Happens a lot
i feel like the apps are just gonna do away with base pay and just give you the hourly
they might as well. It's all about the trip time now, unless base pay is really high, but it won't be. I think the apps will try to get us to do the most deliveries within the shortest amount of trip time -- that's their next move I bet
@@ETAonTheEUC yeah but i would imagine they were already doing that for their own benefit. Is the hourly different for different modes of transportation? my guess is they will penalize you for how far off the estimated delivery time you are or some shit like that.
@@zachmoyer1849Zach did u know I love u
@@ETAonTheEUCwhen are we suppose to see the hourly pay ? I haven’t gotten anything yet
The $29 an hr mandate sounds great on paper… but i guarantee you that Uber Eats & Doordash will make sure they never have to pay you that. You’re only on the clock from the time you accept the order to when you deliver it… so they’ll just send you less orders now ensuring they never have to pay you $29 an hr. It’s all about their bottom line. In fact, i bet riders end up making less money & sitting around more now.
yeah, the apps have a ton of control of these things and are known to control these things. it's been OK for me since the mandate but it's the busy season so I was doing fine last year same time without the mandate
Did you make more with trip time or base pay, at the end of the day?
trip time
Why people so scared about the Bronx. We don’t bite fam.
Sounds like something a biter would say
I miss the Bronx. Grew up going there weekend. Spending school week off and parts of summer like at least Monday through Friday oh, my grandparents, and going to the pool club with my grandmother via a couple of buses. Hull Avenue, Jerome Avenue. They moved to Long Island with my grandmother’s brother needed help towards the last days of his life. I think they were hoping it would be longer, but it was a matter of months at most. Since then, I’ve been back for a dog show. And maybe a sports game.
So how is it these days?
I know it's not as bad as the media wants to portray. I personally have a few reasons why I don't go up there to deliver, only one of the reasons is because it's a little more sketchy in some places, but not all places are like that there, of course!
@christopherclements4707: LMAO
Unfortunately the bronx is to broke to tip. They can order food all day but cant tip smh its a mess
$30 minimum wage will be passed on to consumers within a year we will hear the old I live paycheck to paycheck again.
Cap
Definitely will be passed onto consumers. What i've noticed is that the customers are not tipping now (understandably). So at least they can save $$ on that feature.
As far as the "i live paycheck to paycheck" thing. You can say that about anybody. I've never made a lot of money in my life and Ive always managed to live within my means. Meanwhile, those that make an exorbitant amount of money say they live paycheck to paycheck because of the expensive things they own!
whats your rent?
i rent out a room in a shared apartment, so my rent is cheaper for Manhattan. it's under 1500
what’s the exact price
@@ETAonTheEUC cool man be safe
