I listened to this with my friend when I was 13, we're on Memory Lane this afternoon, so I just revisited. I just want to go back to the time when I didn't have any real problems. Now I have to pay my bills and watch all my friends get pregnant at 20. Being an adult is really not as fun as you think when you're a kid.
***** Well, really, that's what I'm talking about. Several of my female friends have gotten pregnant now and are studying at the same time. They will have real jobs too while they support their children. I am 21 now and I'm going to uni, have my own apartment and have a long distance relationship. I'm still a grown up. I don't live at home anymore and that means you have to take care of yourself and your life. That makes you an adult whether you want it or not, in my opinion. And just because you're young doesn't mean you have to do specific things before you're 25. You're talking about "no rules" and "having fun" but you are also implying that everybody should do that or they missed out. That's not true for everyone. BUT I do agree with you, because I'm definitely there as well. My boyfriend lives at home until he can afford a real house which will be in a years time, maybe two, and we'll move in together and start a "life forever and after". But I'm not having children for a loooooong time - I want to spend my money on myself, to be honest! And you can't really do that when you have a responsibility towards a little child.
