I liked when the hexagon shaped tiles were placed in the hexagonly shaped holes. Great for a hexagon type of time.
The hex goes in the hex hole.

I really like the closing off lane mechanics in this game. A lot of TDs the goal is just “make lane as long as possible” or “one kill zone, the rest of the map doesn’t matter”. Adding a way to stop and/or lengthen the paths is a fun option
Oh geez, that's why I didn't recognize it - they totally revamped the art for it! That took me longer then I'd like to admit to catch on to...

I have been itching for a good TD lately, so this seems exactly like what I want (especially with how liberally the label "Tower Defense" gets used by games making it tough to narrow down the good 'uns that are this type of proper TD).
