And if you put yourself in his shoes, how annoyed would you be if someone went on and on about something you did in the past and not about the series that they were supposed to be talking about? At least half of the interview she was talking about HP and she was trying to get him to say something about Emma and Tom; he was very irresponsive to all of her questions.

😂 i dunno. It could’ve been the interviewers (not so great) questions. Rupert isn’t into social media and doesn’t interview often. I heard him talk about it in an interview (can’t recall the name of it). It makes sense. He does seem a tad awkward :). In a cute way. (The questions being asked did not help in my opinion). I get it, it’s so natural to ask about Harry Potter but to me he didn’t seem comfortable talking about it. From what I can tell, she just wanted to have fun, be cool, and upbeat but it didn’t seem like her questions matched that vibe, I don’t know. Lol. it’s probably why they both seem flustered and awkward by the end. I was not excited to watch the show, in fact the opposite. I feel like they could have explained it better if asked the right questions. (I do want to know more about the show since he’s in it!) she could have asked quality, creative questions like: tell me about your character in the show Rupert, what about him did you connect most with? What should fans expect to see with this new show? Something that tells me about it lol. He probably doesn’t want to relive the glory days from when he was 12. Lol, cmon. Stop rehashing. I mean he is used to answer questions about HP and I think he is fine with it, but this is about 'Servant' and not HP! They should respect/ recognize his work and especially his outstanding talent! He is one of the best actors I know and unfortunately he is so underrated 😢 He did so many things in the past (Cherrybomb, Moonwalkers, Sick Note, Snatch, Abc Murders...) and nobody seems to care. Julia Czarnikow yeah it’s depressing considering he’s pretty much had a day job since he was 11/12 years old, and has worked consistently. And people think he’s been vacationing since 2010 because he’s finally doing something that they’re seeing a trailer on regular TV for. He’s been working his butt off since HP ended. He’s never stopped working. I’m sad for him. These aren’t true fans. I just wish they didn’t gunk up the fandom. His fandom was more fun ten years ago when people were invested. The second he stopped doing blockbusters they all scattered to the four winds.

In a recent interview with Vogue, Emma talked about Harry Potter and playing Hermione, in a very comfortable way. But I believe that’s cause she’s made a career for herself outside of HP. Dan and Rupert never really got out of the mold. Sadly though cause both are super talented.

It seems too painful for Rupert to talk about Harry Potter movies. I guess it justifies the rumours that he wasn't really happy filming the movies & losing his childhood without realizing it. The interviewer asked such inane questions? What all fluff and no real connection with whatever show this interview was supposed to highlight. Interviewer made everyone uncomfortable and didn’t have the sense to stop her intrusive and idiotic line of questions. I hope she learns from this for any future endeavors to be more sensitive and a lot more engaging for everyone.

Guys, look I understand that rupert should be acknowledged for his new projects and works but that doesn’t mean everyone is all of a sudden going to forget about this massive role that he played for a decade.
