1990 Yamaha YZ80 Part 2

- About a week as past since we last saw the YZ 80. Today we continue to clean it up a bit. Let's see if we can get it running. This bike hasn't been started in 10 years.
We will have more videos coming with some cosmetic repairs and eventually taking it back out on the trails.

I am gonna warm you now the forks are a bitch to do I have a 87 and I had to make a fork tool and I had bought a pair of 90 forks and they are a different size for the tool yours is somewhere between a 22mm and a 20mm bolt
Cool bike! It's pretty tall..I have same year 250 hauls ass..I have an '84 y 80 cant get it running yet antifreeze leaking from the head bolts...weak compression?

@@cuda4094 Eventually. This was right before Covid and the bike got a lot of woods use during lockdown and then the crank seal went. I should have cracked into replacing it right away but life. I moved twice and had a few other larger projects that were already ongoing, take most of my time outside of work. I will have another Vanagon video of my TDI build, out eventually and then likely start digging back into the barn to pull this out.

@@cuda4094 This one was my ladies aunt's since new and I had one just like it as a kid. It was given to her from her aunt so it's a bit of a family heirloom.
