At the starting point of the Nays team, there is an absolute ban on fishing, about 70 meters from the dam on which they stopped.
I don't believe they didn't know about it. Anyone who fishes in the Netherlands has the "VISplanner" app, which shows exactly where you can fish and where you can't. This is not fair to other teams
seeing guys hop off the boat wherever they want to be "technically" fishing from shore is not really what I've expected and feels like cheating. On bank day, the boat should stay at home. Car, bike, walking - just like us peasants do.
Exactly that.
I could not relate this with any of my experience as a shore angler..... this has nothing to do with us common people with no boats. This is not genuine shore fishing, at least headbanger's team respected the idea and left the boat home.

I perfectly understand since I myself don't own a boat and move on bicycle but it what it is it wasn't in the rules so it isn't cheating hopefully they make so u can't move on a boat next time
Hey it’s competition, if it isn’t explicitly stated you cannot take a boat to the spot, they were within the rules.
However I agree that high-tech boats with live sonars are not relatable for common folk
Tru. First rule of bank day should be: boat is prohibited!
I suggest next year to ban using boat in shore day. I dont how it is for other people but for me its little bit annoying.

This is NOT real shore fishing. This is like a rich person going back to eat a simpler dinner, but its still made by their personal chef. Back to basics you professional fisherman! No fancy boats!
Go Headbanger!!! Det är eran tur att ta hem tävlingen. Så himla kul med shore day. För oss utan båt känns det så mycket närmare ens egna fiskeupplevelse vilket är helt fantastiskt. Förhoppningsvis lär man sig också lite nicea tips för land fiske också. Verkligen en killer uppgradering av formatet.

Rules should be updated, travelling by boat on shore-day defeats the purpose of having a "shore-day"

They do have extra tools😂, they go to the spot by boat and they can see in the sonar where the fish are all over the spot

Ban use of boat on shore days and live sonar for whole tournament. That would really show who knows where fish are by reading conditions, not looking at screen. Would make show much better also.
I love watching fishing competitions. The participants are very skilled and god at sharing their tips and tricks. I always learn something new. In this episode I learned that there is something you can put on your feet called swamp shoes. I sometimes walk on swampy areas to look for canberries and I really want a pair of those. PLEASE let me know where I can buy them

One friends on me take a perch on 48cm 1,2kg. Beautiful Fish 👍😊 I take a one perch on 42cm 8,9hg. It was my biggest perch on 2022 😁
Very entartaining competition to watch as always. I think it would be nice if you somehow included some information about the gear that the guys are using. I know that most of them are fishing with they're own gear, or sponsored by a brand, bit it would be nice to see some info about what they choose, for example rod length/action, reel, braid diameter, leader diameter, etc. Overall amazing competition, great production!

I have cardiovascular failure stage 4 without my pills, with the medication I drop to stage 3 and am ready to WALK my way to my fishing spots.... come on guys, I bet you can walk your way to the fish.

Great Show like always but i really dont like how the guys from Latvia handle the fishes...... thats not a good example nor Promotion for catch and release fishing :/
If you cant reach a spot on foot its not shore fishing
I would suggest that not to allow to store fish just to keep the bite on. 9 fish in a small bag? Not a good way to promote proper fish handling and respect in my opinion.
