Riding the BMW S1000RR from Wunderlich GmbH on the Nürburgring Nordschleife was great! This lap was filmed at the Perfektionstraining from the Motorrad Action Team (motorcycle only event). If you want to ride the Nordschleife two days Motorcycle only, stay tuned for their event next year! :)
I followed Basti from Wunderlich riding a BMW S1000R. We tested the Wunderlich suspension upgrade for the electronic stock suspension and it works great. The bike was stable at all times!
Basti had a little moment which lead to grabbing the front brake abruptly. Pace was BTG 7:42.
Big thanks to the Motorrad Action Team for having me on the best track and Wunderlich for the bike to ride! Enjoy the Onboard :)
Cheers!

Alle beide grosse Klasse. Super Runde!!! Macht immer wieder Spaß zuzusehen.
Home again on the Nordschleife...Ninja 300, R6, ZX10
It is a BMW M1000R, not S
Its always easier to follow than lead.. but hat of for great ridning 😊
image wind drag at 280 kph on an naked bike
Ya that naked was fast but you were way faster then this. Just the corner speed you carry alone was testament to this. Many times you were on the breaks to avoid hitting his rear (good job BTW). Great riding!
That new M1000R is no joke!
i think he dont want to pass on purpose
@@NudaMan That was an S1000R not an M. S1000R topspeed is about 265-267 kmh.
*brakes
that dude at 7:29 coming out of nowhere..massive massive respect to everybody
all stock , s1000rr stock is having a massive dead flat spot on 3th , once remapped they pull like monsters ,
.....
Ducatis way faster in nordscheliefe
I was most impressed by the naked bike/rider! An S1000RR is "at home" on a race track; that other bike is not!
Modern hypernakeds are nuts
When Yamaha launched the MT10 in 2016 Tony Rutter rode it round a UK circuit to get a lap time. His comments were wonderful. He stated that 90 percent of riders would be FASTER on the Mt10 than the R1 simply because the shorter gearing and easier riding position made life easier. Amen.
100% using this to improve my laps on the virtual Ring. Awesome lap man
no matter how fast that sp[[ortbike is, someone going 270 on a naked is always the biggest chad
Imagine what it feels like to go 170 mph (265 kph) on a naked bike. Your helmet is pushing your face back with so much force that it feels like it's trying to break your neck. You need to hold on with a death grip and try to stick to the tank with all your might. Wow..
Wow increadible driving skills. Perfect performance. Great bike. Thanks for driving like this here and not on the public streets.
Murtiano was easy cruising, naked bike on the limit or above. Can be dangerous for both !
Above limit?
Not even close to its limit
Was a nice last round of the event and for me another Situation. Normaly in Front of you guys 😂 but was nice to see from behind. And Döttinger Höhe without windschield was much for basti.
And you came out of nowhere for me :D I looked in the mirror some times but did not see anyone :D
👍🏽👍🏽 You guys are so fortunate to be able to ride on the ring!! We don't even have a track in Hawaii!! 😂 Jealous..
I would switch the track for a life in Hawaii every day of the week-)
You were much cleaner in corners..hope to see you on NW200 again next year 👊👊👊
That was an insane start to the video lol. That was almost a huge highside
Motorcycles *_only_* that must be pretty sweet on this track. Nice onboard with some chasing action 👌
A dream! No car oil and stones from them on the track.... 😁
1 drittel Gas, 2 drittel Bremse xD
Very interesting. The S1000RR has a clear and obvious advantage in power : weight, it's faster everywhere, although the difference isn't all that obvious because of rider discretion. The one I really notice, is how much more the camera rider trusts his front tyre. The BM is prepared to go way deeper into corners and still be slowing, tips in faster, tips in harder, looks to have a lot more up his sleeve than the naked. Now that may be reflective of the ability of the bikes, or it may be reflective of the ability of the riders, or it may just be a question of confidence, or ? Who knows, but it is very visible. The camera bike is making up heaps of ground at the end of braking and tip-in. Whether he really does have heaps more front end grip, I don't know, but he certainly thinks he has.
Nice riding. How do you get those telemetries? Directly from the bike or do you use multiple add-on sensors? I miss my old R1250Rs lean angle sensor a lot on my new bike :)
Do you record these stats with something plugged in to ecu?
Great riding by both riders here but you were defo faster in the apexes. I assume faster bike or maybe you have more experience on the circuit and know the lines, or maybe just more experience in general. Great riding though for sure.
All of the above.
Good ride, the naked bike is going a little too fast for the level of the motorcycle. Some bad trajectories with some risk of going wrong, thank goodness for the good electronics that these bikes have.
Will pass on yr comments Mr Rossi 😂
M1000R still wobbles
Great video murtanio🔥. I got a question do you need need a A2 license and then you can do a race license. At my local/closest track castle Combe too do a track day you need a A2 license.
Awesome! 💪🤘😍
you are mostly on 3th gear , s1000rr stock is having a massive dead flat spot on 3th gear , re,map and eat the naked allive :D
Idk if this is a dumb question but how do you get involved in races where you are from?
Of all the data, 6th gear is the scariest . . .
Awesome Video !
Absolutely unreal...I can't believe I sometimes think I'm quite quick😢😢
Whoaa massive balls of steel 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
nearly lost it there😮
It is the best video about motorcycle on Nürburgring!!! BTW, what app are you using to show all these bike data?
2D for data recording on this bike and Racerender3 for video implementation
what a thrill 🔥
5:25 nice
Big balls. Mad maaad respects at you two
Highside caused because of the aggressive front tyre braking and not using any rear brake or what happened there?
just major front brake
Awesome 👊
Guessing that was an M1000R you were chasing?
Did your bike have shorter gearing than the red bike ? or were you keeping pace with the naked in front ?
I stayed with the naked bike :)
What tyres were you on ? He was on M9RR and i'm very impressed by his pace on street rubber.
M9rr is the best Tire Even for fast Page on the nordschleife.
how you know? could've been slicks
Not allowed to Drive on slics on motorcycle there. Racetec rr Need more time to get hot and mostly destroy because of cold Tear.
@@mzvarik We both used M9RR
Basti's neck must be as strong and thick as a horse
The tire marks on throttle 😮
Respect 👍
5,3k superview, 60 fps, gp-log, 1/240, iso max 400, nd8
I wish where i live we had a race track. Nothing here, we ride on city streets and a few minimal curved roads in the surrounding countryside. Wichita Kansas has nothing. 😢
which bike would you choose for the rest of your life and why ?
fast as lightning
is this flashed S1000R?
This is how ima spend my 30s 😂😂
Is this Easyride on the Naked Bike?
hell yea
hey man i got a question to you cuz ur on of the best riders i know on this platform, i rode a r6 for my first bike, first season no crash, second season, 1 little slide while doing a adac cours and shortly after that i did a hella wrong decision on the street and crashed, now 1,5 years later i have enough financial stability for a new bike, and now my question comes, since i wanna learn to ride good (like u) on wich bike should i re join, i was fine with the power on the r6 but i begin to think that a little less is a little more to develop my skills, i will go to the track and make race trainings best regards, joe
For the track - buy something you can afford to crash and then just ride, ride, ride! Try to get something that's easy to ride.
Oh 😢 wish i was there that day. Driving as trio then. 😊 (could be lit faster 😁)
Nice to see, nice ride, love and ever be up on the bike 👍👊
Edit: wait, no traffic 😮 a dream 😭
😂👊
top
It’s amazing that neither BMW broke down 😂
Great video 👍
😂
Ooh, that's harsh. Know what you mean, though.
only the bikes you purchase them used and 100 years old with oil never changed they brake down , if you can afford them new and you maintain them well they tend to last longer than you can imagine
Awesome
How is the vibration?
Too fast for my BSA Bantam.......
wow
@2:38. Why have cones laying around in the road?, going to wreck someone!
You see this on motorcycle only track days, its done to visualize the racing line or to suggest a good line to get to the apex
I’m going to say ok every rider on the track during that day knows the track and is very familiar with the track. I personally would want to remember the track and not hit a cone
Why didn't you pass him?
Why didn't you go full throttle?
didn't want to overtake
Who will still say BMW‘s are for older people 😂….
Why are you short sifting some gears ?
Did not need the power of high rpms to follow :)
@@Murtanio oh right your intention was o my to follow , otherwise you would stretch them ?
Chasing? More like following to make a video.
@@ridgeraiser hab beim lesen nen schlaganfall bekommen
The guy in front was smoother even though you were on a faster bike. Learn from him, you will go faster.
Good job almost crashing 10 times by driving much too close behind a not very good driver, thereby increasing the risk 100 fold for both.
First :O
he owned you
