- In the second episode of Central Hall, Kapil Sibal speaks with Satyapal Malik former governor of Jammu and Kashmir and a stern critic of Narendra Modi. The conversation covers what he says is the compromised nature of the Election Commission, Malik's tenure as governor, his accusation that 40 CRPF jawans were killed in Pulwama in 2019 because Modi and his government were not concerned about the threat from terrorists, the controversy over the abrogation of Article 370, the government's intolerance of dissent in parliament, and Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar's attempt to claim the mimicry he was subjected to was an insult to all Jats. Malik, who is himself a Jat, says his community has seen through this game because 'ek jhuka hua Jat, ek tooti khaat, kisi kaam ke nahin' - that Dhankhar had betrayed his people by surrendering to the government's anti-farmer policies.

We had a government that virtually handed over the entire Connaught Place to the waqf board before being thrown out of power. A government in Bihar and UP which openly talks about Muslim Yadav caste combination. A government that failed to react to the carnage in Mumbai on 26/11 out of fear of displeasing the Muslims. I can go on recounting the dirty tricks of the Congress party which nearly enacted the Communal Violence Bill, in 2013.where Hindus where to be considered the primary facie accused in case of communal violence. And you are getting upset without knowing facts.

EVM मशीन के लिए मेरी भी एक राय ये है की जब मतदार बटन दबा कर अपना वोटिंग करता है, तब V.C.PATE मशीन पर जानकारी दी जाती है की आपने वोट किसको दिया. इस तरह से वोटर का समाधान तो कर दिया जाता है, लेकिन उस वोटर को V.V.PATE मशीन से कागज की पर्ची नही दी जाती. उस कागज की पर्ची में अनुक्रमांक तथा वोटर ने किसको मतदान किया है, इतना भी बता दिया तो काफी है. तब वो ही पर्ची को एक अलग रखी मतपेटी में उस वोटर ने डाल देना चाहिए. ताकि मतगणना के दिन AVM में कितने वोट किसको मिले तथा मतपेटी में पड़ी पर्चियो द्वारा किसको कितने वोट मिले इसकी कैरेक्ट जानकारी मिल सकती है. तब घोटाले की संभावना नहीं के बराबर होगी.

Regardless of the situation in Kashmir, another conclusion to make from the one sided aboragation of article 370 is that Hindus can't be trusted with any mutual agreements or pacts. They don't give any weight to words or stick to values or keep promises if an opportunity comes benefiting them. As that agreement was the only tie connecting Kashmir to India, by breaking it, Govt. of India effectively released Kashmir in legal terms.
