Without priests like you I do not know where the church would be there is so much superficial homilies that's why so many parishioners leave the church they claim they get nothing, so they run to the pentecostal church where there is stamping, dancing and shouting. Thank you father for good spiritual food.

Reverend William Casey is among the BEST Christian teachers and preachers! I would rather listen to him (and his
associate, Reverend Wade Menezes) than any of those televangelists on so called Christian television these days!

Without the coming of Christ and his death on the cross and his resurrection , no amount of faith or works would matter. His redemptive act opened the gates of heaven for us, but it does not push us through those gates. Thats where faith and works come in. Salvation is a gift from God but we must accept that gift and act upon it. That is Catholic teaching.Accepting the gift requires faith. Acting upon it requires works. And both must be bonded together by love.

Good homily. What makes me wonder, is the mentioning of pope Francis (Ber-GOG-lio) as if he were for real.
I do pray for him, though.

Tony S. You are definitely passionate about the Lord. Maybe write bit less could seem little like you are better....I'm not too smart yes Luther did right in trying to stop something really bad. That does not prove all Catholics were wrong. I just recently heard some really bad things about Luther in his ways of doing his correction. I wonder does it not matter to you or it's not in your Martin Luther history books? God bless all
