i loved this tutorial but when i tried opening the app it said (developer did not intend for it to run on this platform)
Keeps saying “This application cannot be installed because the developer did not intend for it to run on this platform,”
So frustrating, It however runs the apps like 8ball & motivation app, but the really good apps, no…… I have a Macbook Air M1 newest?

Hi Steve, nice tutorial. I tried to install Snapseed on my M1. Always i get a Warning and it aborts installation. Any idea how to work around ?
I don't have a new Mac but I do have the Black Macbook core 2 duo I had when I was watching your videos 10 years ago.

[You can't install the application "You can't install the application “OfferUp 4.49.0.ipa“ because it is not supported on this type of Mac. because it is not supported on this type of Mac.] when tried using Mac "Security&Privacy" setting to grant/Allow access it doesn't show there either. Hi Steve, I am trying to get CZcams on my Mac and I tried to import it from my iPad Pro, but unfortunately I cannot do the step which is, ' download to library'. Is it because I have connected my Mac to the iPad instead of my iPhone?, I would try doing it off my phone but I don't have a cable lead for that :(
Can you see the app on our library on the Mac and add it to your taskbar?

@@stevesmacfix I fly r/c model airplanes, so I will install Airmap. That way I will have full screen on my MacMini so that I can see areas that I can fly in. BTW I like your desktop!

Steve I run IOS Ventura 13.4.1 and when I get to the part where you "download" it isn't one of the choices. There is a choice to download IPS but I annot choose a destination, so I'm stuck there.

Thank you for this tutorial! Sadly, it didn't work for me. I got all the way to the last step and I got this message "You can't install the application because it is not supported on this type of Mac. Any thoughts on why this result? My MacBook Pro is a 2017 model, fyi.

I have a 2008 iMac I would like to get rid of it. any thoughts?
I think most older macs are still capable of running everyday tasks like email, zoom, chat, iMessage, watching stevesmacfix on CZcams lol and more. I wouldn’t expect gaming but it does most tasks great. There are ways to install newer versions of Mac OS that isn’t compatible with it. There’s actually a way to install Catalina on it.
@@stevesmacfix I can’t use the 2008 iMac because it’s got a glitch that freezes consistently with any use. I broke down and bought a new iMac in 2019 which is awesome. I really just don’t know what to do with the old one. I thought about using the monitor as a dual monitor on my desktop but haven’t move forward with that. I can’t just give it away to people because it’s got that glitch in it that so many 2008 iMacs had. Thanks very much for replying

If you don't have an iPad and iPhone you can't download most of the app. Only a few apps you can download on MacBook Air m1

@@stevesmacfix found that whatsapp exclusively disabled running on M1. i got Imazing working. played COC for 3 months and since last game update that one is f'ed up as well. but since Im near the my final exams its all good. M1 is so amazing tho

I think it depends what app you are using. It still works for me.
