I'm scared of the cars as well. They have no soul. And watch out for the level crossings. They come down seconds before the train, and the train doesn't care either.
Direct drill must mean a different thing in the UK than the US. Ever since I was a kid direct drills could plant with out cultivating. Just made little slits in the ground that it planted in. You could hardly tell the ground was touched.
Triggers! The reason you can't use triggers is a bug. You can fix it by unmapping keys for your wheel and saitek so ONLY your keyboard is keybound to it. I do not remember which option it was, but it was NOT 'Select' or 'Interact' but a 3rd similar option. Perhaps upvote so he can fix this issue and also be able to use the workshop again.
The option preventing your interaction with triggers is the one that's used on "R" so it's "Interact". You should only need to delete this from every controller you are using. Worked for me at least.
if you are looking into buying a new field, have a look at field 21. Thats a lot of bang for your buck and directly beside your yard. I chose it as my starting field on hardest mode. With eager usage of the chainsaw you can expand it immensely up to the surrounding streets and get a rather big field for a decent price
Hey Daggerwin, when doing harvesting contracts, always try to harvest the entire field. You will earn money for the "left over" products every time, which can become several thousands of euro/pounds depending on crop type and field size.
Yeah, I was hoping that too. It would also have nice if we could change field numbers when we merge two or more fields into larger ones. :( I've only tested it a bit with the helper, and he seems to get pretty confused by the multi-field. It had him raising and lowering the seeder on the spot like he was stuck or having a mental breakdown. :)
The bonus harvest income works on all harvesting jobs. If you are diligent and collect all the crops it can be significant. I've earned 40% on top of some original contract prices amounting to over £4000 in some cases. Your content is inspiring Daggerwin. P.S. The Karcher has started working for me now!
The main rule is that you have to plow every 3. Time, but after the crops you mentioned you have to do it everytime. And also note that you need to put on lime when you expand a field
It seems that once you complete a harvesting contract, it allows you to continue to harvest the field, and you get to keep the profits from the sale of the crop. I took a contract on field 8 on Ravenport for harvesting corn. In addition to the payment for the contract, I made another $10,000 or so from the sale of the "extra" crop from the field. Maybe this mechanic takes the place of the time bonus from '17?
When doing a contract completely harvest the whole field every time any grain left after you complete the contract is your bonus and goes in your bank totally worth scrapping the edges
I did the 30.000 pound contract, and I got 17.000 pounds surplus harvest income out of it. I made 45.000 with that one contract. It gives me a chance to grow my farm faster, but it also makes it grow too fast. Basically taking the fun out of grinding for bigger equipment.
Quite a good exploit being able to use the power harrow as a 1st pass cultivator as it's not the real world application, it would only be used post cultivation. With only plough>cultivate>drill required as far as soil engaging implements is required, the power harrow is useless in this game.
Dagger, what are you doing, episode 11 and you uploading, like, 2 episodes per day. I havent got time to view all of them. fs19 has already been out 1 day. Also, like the customisation on the drills, means you can creative! Awesome!
Any crop you harvest over the mission required amount goes into your pocket :) So no downside of harvesting the full mission fields :) i see you notised this just as i was writing it in the end of the video :D Cotton harvest doesnt give anything extra though.
I mentioned this in the last video. So it's really worth your time and effort to harvest the field 100%, as you get paid for everything over the contract fulfillment
Daggerwin. The Massey Ferguson can be upgrade with an engine upgrade to 130Hp 25Hp more. This might make plowing faster by a few kph or a couple of mph.
I noticed that the last harvest also. It seems it is better to make sure to harvest the whole field 100% before taking the last load to sell in Jobs cause any extra you get the money for.
Your query about hooking up the two trailers on the tractor, I tried it the other way, and it wouldn't fit, but if you look at the connections for the trailers, the front one had a ball connection, and the rear one had an eye connection, the real of the trailer had a ringfeder, so only the eye would fit, also, as a truck driver, I can tell you that you hooked it up the best way possible, the dolly trailer should always be at the back
I love the lighting as well I just wish they'd added shadows for the clouds too but then that would have been another thing consoles couldn't handle. Like the beacons that everyone keeps asking about.
Make a bigger road train with the grain wagons instead of buying a bigger one and store them behind the shed it be a perfect spot to park them ... Let's see how long you can make it go
@Daggerwin Unplug external devices (i.e steering wheel, gamepads) and you can use the trigger at the store!! Giants are aware of this and are trying to fix it :)
I love this game. Very few negative comments from me. Rain still comes through the roof of sheds, barns and house. Not sure why, but no animal sounds. I placed cows, chickens and pigs. No sounds.
Daggerwin, theres a work around for the hand tool issue, go in your mapping and make sure there is no gamepad binding for "Activate Hand Tool", "Interact" and " Activate Object" if you do that you will be able to use your keyboard to interact with items. Like so he can see please
Hi there Daggerwin good morning and I hope you are well. I have finally got the Collectors Edition FS19 and I have downloaded the 1.1 patch and I can seriously and absolutely understand where your coming from with your positive and negative thoughts on the game. £300,000 for those placecables that is ridiculous 😥. But on the other hand I totally agree with you about the graphics of the game. I've fallen in love with this game ❤️
from hectic esports into a nice farming sim episode from daggerwin i love it your upload times where perfect today for me when i got home from school boom video when i got done with practice with my racing team boom another video
You will get money for crops which are harvested "over" required amount of the job. it will count as Yours harvest income. so it is good idea to harvest whole field, You can get nice bonus cash.
Daggerwin, I think the only real constructive critique I would offer you is that you too often choose small, under-powered equipment. I think this is because you have a preference for small maps, small fields and small equipment. As a result of having equipment that is too small, you end up spending far more time refilling, plowing upgrading.
I’ve got an idea for when you do a new Survival Roleplay, why not start in the Starting From Scratch mode, as it would make it slightly more realistic?
Is it just me or is that practically peanuts for an HOUR of real time worth of harvesting sugar beets? 7000? That job in FS17 would be a ton more than that!
Daggerwin. I love the videos coming out so quickly. They are always top qaulity. Is there any chance you could do a fs19 tips and tricks video. I’m getting the game soon and haven’t played since fs13. It would be really helpful if you could. Keep up the good work.👍
Hope you get your glitches fixed. Ive been playing and everything has been working well. Its so nice to actually need crop care tires and swap em with the repair shop at will.
Daggerwin instead of randomly placing the IBC’s in the shed bay why not stack them on top of each other keeping Herbicide together & Fertiliser together. The little Fiat Tractor is seriously powerful on a flat field for its size, it’s my only Tractor on Estancia Lapacho & I use it for Carting, Lime Spreading, Cultivating/Plowing with the big Bednar Subsoiler, spraying Herbicide & Spraying Fertiliser.
you made back the leasing cost by selling that extra beats. but a question ive been meaning to ask is why you carry the loader the way you do? i know you play in 3rd person, but that is actually a safety violation IRL to move with the fork up the way you have it. its an obstruction of view. though i do know the front weight makes it hard to put it down, and older versions the fork always snagged in the ground if you had it too far down, but safe driving is 12 inches from the ground with the fork rolled all the way back
You're right. Where I live you actually have to raise the frontloader with or without tools above 2 metres, according to law, if you want to partake in regular traffic. Never are you allowed to transport anything with the loader while on public roads, you have to use suitable transport platforms/trailers. But alas this is a game and Real life does not really apply. :D
Where I live it is common practice to have the loader up high, it is better to have the forks go over a car if they stop quickly in front of you than having them go through it, but, if the hydraulics give out, they will drop rather quickly and dig in, stopping the tractor, and crushing anything below
My take so far on fs19 the graphics are awesome the vehicles and stuff look great it’s cool when you plow fields and place objects grass and shrubs go away and come back if you sell peaceable nice 👍 but I feel the game was rushed there are no animated objects in game, no root crop storage, dog is well he’s there at least, no flat bed trailers for the tractors, maps seem smaller than previous versions, some cool things birds nice touch also looking at maps in editor ware planes can be separated now and on different levels so modding will be nicer,
Just so you. I saw you driving with the arms of the tractor up. It's more realistic to drive with them down. Because of you drive with them up irl you'd be top heavy and top over.
That is true, but it is common practice to drive with them up, because tractors bounce, a lot, and you don't want to hit the ground, or stab a car in front of you
I'm not saying your wrong. But I and my fellow on hand farmer that work for us know. It makes sense, but there is a little button down by the pedals that stabilizes from bouncing.
None of our tractors have a button like that, although it would be handy, but most of the farmers around here deflate the tires for traction (we are in quite a hilly area) and that makes the bouncing worse, we personally fill the tyres with water, which doesn't help the bounce much either
Is it your capture card that's making the graphics look not quite as shiny on these videos? I'm confused as I've seen the game look way better in other vids.
The issue with not being able to access the workshop and other things is most probably conflicting controls. I had the same issue and just removed every setting under gamepad controls and added the ones i wanted and it fixed it.
Hey Daggerwin, you know you can set workers on a contract field and the worker will do it for you. I would understand if why you wouldn't do this as it's quite overpowered.
Hello all so I have been reading on the forums to try and figure out what the glitch is with not being able to use hand tools and the shop triggers. Apparently its conflicting with steering wheels. I got mine working by going in and deleting all of the key bindings that are default set into farming sim. The only buttons that I left bound were the gas and brake pedals and obviously the steering. Hopefully this helps please let me know if it does.
Luckily they now have tools to combine too do this but in fs15 and fs 17 I would put a cultivater on the front of the tractor and the planter on the back so I didn't have to do it separately lmfao
It would be so damm good if the minimap could actually regenerate itself. I mean if you plow grass then it should be shown on the minimap as well. Because in its current form is, for me at least, a bit irritating.
Reference your previous episode about missions and equipment showing up for the harvesting, seems to work ok on the PS4?! Not sure if it's just PC having the problems. Awesome vids by the way.
Finish that harvest job completely and the farmer will “give you” the last of the crop as tip for doing a good job
I'm scared of the cars as well. They have no soul. And watch out for the level crossings. They come down seconds before the train, and the train doesn't care either.
Haha, very true
Just sat down and a Daggerwin notification popped up. What a great night
Daggerwin!! Don't you ever sleep! ...like i said before..i can't keep up with the episodes!! Lol
Ta for all the vids though ..lol
Centurion Same I can’t even keep up with all the episodes he uploads!!
i always skip through quite a lot (sorry dagger) so i can watch them in short time :)
Centurion I can keep up, because I have notification bell on :)
Same
SameoldSameold then its quite hard to hear what hes says, and on mobile there isnt an option for that
When the worker has a full tank it still wages you for just staying in place, so it should be wise to take the worker off until you arrive back :)
Direct drill must mean a different thing in the UK than the US. Ever since I was a kid direct drills could plant with out cultivating. Just made little slits in the ground that it planted in. You could hardly tell the ground was touched.
Anyone else think daggerwin has had a lot of coffee?
I've also fixed it for me the way you describe yesterday. It's been mentioned on the Giants' bug forum.
The option preventing your interaction with triggers is the one that's used on "R" so it's "Interact". You should only need to delete this from every controller you are using. Worked for me at least.

I wish that on fs19 it would extend the field on the map as well
I was hoping since it has never been there. Maybe in a patch.
Yeah, I was hoping that too. DAGGERWIN
ADD ALL OF THE VIDOES ON FELSBURNN TO THE PLAYLIST
0:30 savage!!! Great vids. Loving all the episodes! Never had so much enjoyment out of anyone’s vids more than yours!
how do you even pull out a chainsaw on 'accident'
The bonus harvest income works on all harvesting jobs. If you are diligent and collect all the crops it can be significant. I've earned 40% on top of some original contract prices amounting to over £4000 in some cases.

The main rule is that you have to plow every 3. Time, but after the crops you mentioned you have to do it everytime. And also note that you need to put on lime when you expand a field
cutting trees and chainsawing into billets and hand loading onto the first trailer with 2nd configuration is BEST BAE
you can keep the harvest that goes over the mission, so next time harvest all of it, its a sort of bonus!
It seems that once you complete a harvesting contract, it allows you to continue to harvest the field, and you get to keep the profits from the sale of the crop. This is amazing! Daggerwin your killing it with the amount of vids a day! thx for the very frequent videos.
love the joystick moving in the cab

What an aggressive driver you are! Haha. Love the videos Daggerwin!
You should buy a more bigger but older tractor, im thinking of the Case 7210 pro
Daggerwin if you use the lime station at the southeast station to fill up your lime spreader it is far cheaper than using big bags from the store.
So I’ve noticed that even with crop destruction on, it only applies to the fields you own. It will not destroy crops on a field you don’t own.
More!! We need more!! I think it's time to invest in a cloning machine, one Daggerwin for each series.
Plow the fields anyways! You have to plow after those crops or if you don’t plant those crops then every 3 harvests
Dagger, what are you doing, episode 11 and you uploading, like, 2 episodes per day.
I havent got time to view all of them.
fs19 has already been out 1 day.

1080p has arrived
Thanks dagger
720 is the same, only 1080 requires better internet speed. You’re better of using 720 since its the exact same graphics as 1080, but faster
@@mathiastheapprentice its not the same, just had a look. There's a notable difference in the two on my screen.
Ive just seen Daggerwins Forestry Machine's video in 1440p 😁 👍🏻👍🏻

Love watching you play this game its very entertaining. I think 19 is a huge upgrade minus the bugs

Daggerwin! Great work, I think the game wants you to plow the fields because you have periodic plowing on. Take a look at that!
I do the same but with the Kuhn drill, subsoiler, power Harrow, and seed weight on a t7.315
I know I watcher you pplay it earlier
you dont need both the power harrow and the subsoiler, you can seed right after the subsoiler.
I know but I like it all on there
Looks like you have been hard at work already! Your farm is progressing that's for sure!
Daggerwin, I think the only real constructive critique I would offer you is that you too often choose small, under-powered equipment. The reason it probably wants you to Plow in f25 is because you might have periodic plowing on.
Is it your capture card that's making the graphics look not quite as shiny on these videos? I'm confused as I've seen the game look way better in other vids.
The issue with not being able to access the workshop and other things is most probably conflicting controls.

Up the horse power on the massey to 135hp

Hey Daggerwin, you know you can set workers on a contract field and the worker will do it for you. I would understand if why you wouldn't do this as it's quite overpowered.
It charges you more for a worker on a contract :(
Field 25 you want to start going left to right as you have the field almost to the edge of the road
Did u lose any money on that contract for ur worker? Enjoying this let’s play so well done. Thank you for all ur hard work
Are the hired workers more competent? Can they work odd-shaped fields?
Can’t wait for harvest on that huge field are you going to buy a bailer?
What is your opinion on using front/back weights versus wheel weights?
Love the channel!
Hello all so I have been reading on the forums to try and figure out what the glitch is with not being able to use hand tools and the shop triggers. Apparently its conflicting with steering wheels. Reference your previous episode about missions and equipment showing up for the harvesting, seems to work ok on the PS4?! Not sure if it's just PC having the problems. Awesome vids by the way.
You could have gotten more if you didn't use the worker, that costed you at least 1k £ if not more
