  • I've run out of words to describe Norway, so I'll let the images and videos speak for themselves. This time, from the fjords in Western Norway, where I spent my last days living in the car.

Just beautiful - that scenery is something else and I can't believe how calm the water was in the fjords! Thanks again for bringing us all along Adrian.

You are so right. Norway is breathtakingly beautiful, to the point of being overwhelming. I usually don't use those words. Your drone footage was unbelievable. I hope Norwegians still appreciate all the beauty around them and don't take it for granted.

I'm not so sure they do, because we all get used to what we have. I've been at the same location for a couple of weeks now, by a beautiful and stunning fjord. I go out for a walk / run every day. I still appreciate the beauty, of course, but I can see how I'm getting used to these views, and start to let the small problems of daily life get in my head when I'm out. It shouldn't be that way, but I guess it's a matter of survival. Things become familiar so our brains have more space and energy to look for food and staying alive.
I totally agree with you, Norway is just incredible. I haven't been to many countries, but it is by far the most beautiful one I've seen. There are beautiful spots in the US, in Spain, in Italy, Germany, France, Canada. But the thing with Norway is, literally 90% of the country is stunning, not just a handful of spots here and there. It's blowing my mind.

Most of us take it for granted most of the time, only pausing for brief moments to behold it.

You remembered correctly when you said Sognefjord. Lustrafjord is part of Sognefjord. So you didn't have to correct yourself. 🙂
The Lusterfjord (Lustrafjord) is the innermost arm of the Sognefjord, which, from Skjolden at the head of the fjord to Solund at the coast, is all of 204 km long. The Sognefjord - Norway’s longest and deepest fjord and the second longest fjord in the world. (The world's longest fjord is situated in Greenland.)

It is so cool to see Norway trough eyes of a "stranger" It is easy to forget the many incredible vistas we got here. And what stands out the most for you. I see we have the same eye for details and what draw our attention. Really fun to see this, thank you so much. (yes I live on the west coast of Norway) 🇳🇴🎥 Great video

Very beautiful video Adrian! I've found this one more melancholic than the others. I liked a lot the shots of the shelters, and the shots in Lustrafjord. And yes, this abundance of beauty in the fjord is intoxicating. It will be so hard to leave such a place.
Enjoy the coming days with a richer roof :)

I totally agree it's bad that there is too much beauty, I am so used to these views I'm thinking "perhaps there are cloudberries there" rather than "omg breathtaking mountains"

I'm still here on this small spot on the western side of Lake Mjøsa, caught between Lake Mjøsa, the Totenåsen Hills and the rural landscape of the lowlands. I never get away, need to drive my girls around all the time, and to heat the house for them. Made 42 images for Adobe Stock Photo this weekend, all while driving or waiting for my girls to do their errands. And next week will be the same, and next, and next...
