    I use the gel because I'm autistic and also gender fluid, so sometimes I don't feel like taking T, other days I feel I really need it. It has been ok using the gel semi-regularly. It has not been annoying at all. It's easy to apply, dries up really quick, and it makes me avoid the big highs and lows we had when taking the shots.

    I'm a bit late but since you don't want to go on patches or gel, there is a little contraption thing that you can put your shot in and it'll inject it for you so you don't have to be actually stabbing yourself idk that might be something to look into

    • @sunnyb1185
      @sunnyb1185 Pƙed 3 lety

      @@MarcusGrey No I don't think so, it's a little device that you hold against your leg/area where you are injecting and it injects for you and you don't see the needle. The link to it is here - unionmedico.com/90-super-grip/ I'm not sure how expensive or difficult to get it is, but Chase Ross made a video demonstrating its use if you wanna see how it's done with testosterone.

      I definitely saw a difference from looking back at my first few months on T vs where I am now. Kind of a muscle head in my opinion 😭😭 but yes after I stopped taking T my jawline/face changed again. I’m not sure if it's "back to normal" though bc I have facial hair.

      Most likely depends on how long you've been on T plus the changes you got. Like 99% of the time i do notttt get misgendered (unless it's people who know me and are transphobic). But you see me.. my voice is deeper, I have facial hair. If you pass now you'll most likely pass off T as well

    So T is similiar to a drug? It gives you highs and lows and adiction to it?

    • @MarcusGrey
      @MarcusGrey  Pƙed 3 lety +3

      Testosterone is a hormone found in both males & females (stereotypically) and so is estrogen. However, males are testosterone dominant and females are estrogen dominant. Ftms take testosterone to become testosterone dominate and acquire stereotypical male features such as facial hair, Adam's apple, deep voice, etc.and other personal reasons. It doesn’t give you "highs/lows" and you cannot be addicted. Someone *can* experience mood changes but it's because of the change in hormone levels (like teenagers) but stops when hormones even out.

    • @RedSky22
      @RedSky22 Pƙed 3 lety +1

      @@MarcusGrey I know what is testosteron, i was just curios how it feels in the body once you injected.

    • @TheBandheros
      @TheBandheros Pƙed 3 lety

      @@RedSky22 fr? Because you just asked what T was. It’s short for testosterone. When injected it moreso feels like I’m normalized. Since my hormone levels were naturally high with testosterone (even before taking T), taking T made me feel less anxious, less depressed, and all around just better. If you’re looking for drugs or something, this isn’t that.
