I think the difference would be how much hair is lost with each brush.

My Tangle Teezer totally bent to bits after 10 years of weekly use (all the bristles). By then the bristles were totaled. Still, the brush lasted me a long time! I would not worry about a few bent bristles, that's normal.

Great video! Ha! I just bought the Tangle Teezer over the weekend from Ulta. It’s currently on sale for $11.20.

I haven't tried either. I would be interested in using the Tangle Tamer Ultra by Denman. Thanks for the demo💜

I bought the tangle teezer after looking at one of your videos about it. I love it. Great video. Thank you.

I love the Tangle Teezer naturally curly brush for my curly hair I have type 4A 4B hair and it works really well in big sections and not just that the curl definition is on Pont and it leaves my curly hair tangle free highly recommended for Type 4 Naturals like myself

Well done video! I have tried that Tangle Teezer brush. I put it away because the bristles bent in just one week of use. It did move through my hair nicely, though! 🙂 The Felicia Leatherwood brush faaaaaaar surpasses its performance, for me.

I brought the tangle teezer over a month ago. I have to use very small section to detangle n the bristles are bending.

Hmmmm I think i would go with the Tangle Tamer because I have a few paddle brushes and i prefer them...I have a tangle Teezer but it is the original without the handle which i like but would like the bristles were just a bit more dispersed.

I have the tangle tamer. I use it vertically like you mentioned. I like it but prefer the Aveda paddle brush.

Thanks for the review. I'd probably go with tge Tamer since it is holding up better and is wider

😍Love the review! I haven't tried either brush. I currently use the Curly hair solutions Flexy brush so based on that I'd probably get the Tangle tamer ultra. I have the Tangle teezer w/o the handle...always issues trying to clean it.
It appears that I could run a comb thru the Tangle tamer ultra get hair out easily....What do you think??
    Thanks much for sharing 😘

Great comparison video. I bought a paddle brush at the beginning of the hair growth challenge from TJ Maxx. I love it sooooo much it’s wooden, the handle is pretty long, the bristles are moderately soft and not too crowded. Under the bristles there’s also a cushion on mine and the sound of it going through my hair is minimal. There are balls at the end however it’s smooth and doesn’t pull out my hair. I can legitimately detangle my hair in 2-5minutes (depending on my conditioner)
