I love to shop at the local Spanish owned corner store near my job. About a year ago I stumbled across Florida Water and decided to start using it as a cologne. I loved it so much I wanted to research it. When I did I found all these things about Santeria and Florida water being used for blessings and protection. I genuinely just thought it was an amazing cologne. I had no idea I was blessing myself every day , but that's how spirit works. It leads us to the things that are meant for us. Im 63 and remember when I was a girl we had to stay due to a medical emergency in Puerto Rico. Ended up staying there to live we moved in from Chicago. We lived with our grandmother and uncle. However, it was not until after I began reconnecting to the African blood in my Caribbean veins (my maternal grandmother's maternal grandmother was a black woman), did I begin to fully appreciate Florida Water. If I carry as little as possible on my person, it is my wallet, a book, my reading glasses AND Florida Water. I think I have always known about Florida Water, especially because being of Cuban descent, I saw it everywhere growing up.
However, it was not until after I began reconnecting to the African blood in my Caribbean veins (my maternal grandmother's maternal grandmother was a black woman), did I begin to fully appreciate Florida Water.
If I carry as little as possible on my person, it is my wallet, a book, my reading glasses AND Florida Water.
For me, Florida Water is my Spiritual cleanser, my Aura cleanser, my hand and body sanitizer, my bad juju away-er, my good juju keeper-around-er, my Energetic refresher, and Great Goddess Alive, I WISH I could douse some toxic person with it, but that would be assault.
Oh, but Good Goddess, how I WISH I could! Anyway, thank you for a great video about Florida Water. I happily gave it a "Like" and a Share on Twitter, too. Also, before I forget, I recall reading that the word "Florida," means "with florals," which made sense to me, as Florida Water is usually made with floral extracts.
The company was called Murray and Lanman when I first began buying Florida Water, but now it is called Lanman and Kemp Barclay, hence the "L & K" on the bottles. Also, you are so right about the four-ounce. If I see them and do not buy one, they shall not be there when I return.
If my regular day bag was not already so heavy, I would totally carry that sixteen-ounce container. And at least half of it would be gone by the time I came back home! SERIOUSLY!!

Hello to the most beautiful kindest mentor!! This is Dave, I just showered in Fruitland Park fl well water, where I stay at. This explains why I'm still alive, man, before I came to my senses and followed indelible spiritual guidance I missed my "transformation" several times, anything from sleeping on the ground where wild hogs could have chomped on me, passing out in the lake with alligators and water moccasins, crawling on my belly across floating islands both land surveying and hunting. I love it and I make every effort to keep some on hand. I want to try the soap. I don't mind the full strength of the aroma, it's soothing to me. Sometimes I put a small dab right under my nose and nostrils.
