Eating meat, eggs, cooking in butter, ghee, tallow, and drinking spring water changed my life.
I am not carnivore but I have started adding more meat to my meals and it has change my mental health so much. I have done this for almost 4 months ago thanks to a video I saw of Cameron and I feel like God has answer my prayers.
Depends on what you buy and where. A friend of mine is a regenerative farmer and raises hogs, pastured cattle and chickens. That food is clean and delicious. If you buy processed crap at a store than it does suck. Here you have to read labels and spend the money.
I lived in America for about a year and any store-bought food is just straight up garbage (let alone food from fast food chains). Being back in Europe I appreciate the food here so much more. Even fast foods here are decent food and unless you're actively trying for the opposite, food that you buy at the store will generally be healthy. I pray that a change takes place in the US in the food industry for the well-being of American citizens.
@@macukelpu As an American citizen I can say that we have wonderful Farmers market and Whole food choices, more than any other country!! We don’t have to eat processed goods. It’s a choice people make, you certainly did. I have been to Europe, not impressed by the food choices when Zi was there.
@macukelpu I painfully agree with you in Jesus Christ name
@@dianawardrip5171farmer's markets are few and far between, often expensive. There is no justifiable reason we should be selling poison in our grocery stores
Could not agree more!! Spent 3 glorious weeks this summer on the Camino (Portugal/Spain), and my teenage son, who normally deals with all kinds of terrible food allergies, histamine issues, GI problems, and even an abdominal vascular compression, had ZERO issues while we were there. Granted he avoided certain foods, but it was SO much easier to avoid hidden ingredients (there were none), and the lack of terrible chemicals definitely calmed his system down. Now he’s off to college and God-knows-what to eat! 🙏🏻
This is good, but especially now in this economy, it feels impossible to feed a large family food that is free of all these seed oils and chemicals. I've tried, and it almost doubled our already crazy high grocery bill!
It's not impossible. A garden helps a lot. And doing things like eating brown rice instead of white. And adding extra ground beef.
One thing that truly disturbs me is that in the age of the internet, many do not do their own research. 😢
Scotsman here. There was once an American documentary I saw years ago which made the claim that people from Scotland have weight and teeth problems because of our poor diet, made me laugh, I said I’m not taking dietary advice from Americans. Here in the uk we have far stricter food standards than in the states, particularly with meat, dairy and veg products, but even still there are too many preservatives and sugar alternatives (sweeteners) in many of our food products in the uk, but as I say I will never take dietary advice from an American. The west broadly though needs to improve its diet.
Having stricter food standards is the sort of thing that becomes necessary when you have a mad cow incident... though I believe that was England?
I would find it hard to draw concrete conclusions when UK beef, for example, most likely comes from Brazil, which assuredly does not have great standards. The real differences most likely come in the super-prepared foods... which are most likely for consumer home preparation (or perhaps school cafeterias!) and should be easily avoidable.
If McDonald's has to add a couple funny things to ease the preparation by workers doing the same thing over and over, it may take a dozen funny things to get it to work for amateurs.
Thank you for sharing this information!!! We need more parents speaking this truth!
I moved from Europe to the US earlier this year and I am shocked at the sugar content in certain foods. Bread for example is really bad here, I can taste the sugar in it. Sodas back home have 12g of sugar per can, here its 32g for the same drink, and some are 40g. The sugar free alternatives often contain Aspertame or sugralose which are very bad. Why not just put less sugar in things?
@@Huntdwm You have clue of what you are speaking.
I agree. I think the problem is sugar more than anything.
Thank you for speaking about this! We have been lied to about all this!!!!
Americans seek convenience and a quick fix for food (prepackaged, highly processed junk), and when that food makes us sick, we choose pills to make us “better”.
"Natural flavors" are also something in SO many foods now that were not in food before. They sound benign but they are just chemicals made in a lab. They make some of us in our family feel terrible!!
People in the US can buy ingredients just like anywhere else in the world. Convenience foods, and fast foods may not be healthy, but we all have the ability to buy nutritious ingredients and make food that is healthful.
That's the problem,they can't
@@Je-rb7je of course we can. Don't be a troll.
If you have your own land or lots of money yeah. I eat healthy as I can and consume as little as I can
Just to point out there is very little evidence about seed oils being poison. There's a mountain of evidence that they're neutral or good for us. Oils that have been heated and reheated several times may be harmful, but that makes sense since it's essentially 'burnt' oil and anything burnt is bad for you whether it's meat or bread.
Thank you, Sister! ❤️I’ve been watching this descent for decades and it has reached a fever pitch. 😢
You preach it Cameron! The truth is if you don't have to wash it before you eat it, You probably shouldn't eat it. and the animal protein we eat should be eating real ingredients as well, Our cows should not be eating ground up animal products. none of our animals should be receiving antibiotics that are not medically indicated. The state of the standard American diet is truly SAD.
Hi . May I 'respectfully' suggest that the adjective in CAPS in your title for this interview- is inappropriate-frankly shocked me-- for a program of such a high quality - consistently!
I've had the greatest respect for this channel and traditional Catholic content( Kudos!!) as do many of my friends.
Words are very important - according to our faith.🦋
I think it's a verb
I don’t see a problem with it :)

I do. It's vulgar and disrespectful language.
@@karinabarros4183
You are definitely young and from a new generation for whom these are not natural mores.
What? Does “sucks” bother you?
What’s weird is that schools teach kids classes about health, but they serve kids food that is very unhealthy.
People need to get their food straight from the farmers and learn how to hunt and fish .

It's not cheap eating organic all the time. Most Americans can't afford organic food. Cameron is privileged to eat steak all the time.
I agree, but we should all start somewhere. It’s still cheaper than a regiment of awful medications and multi-thousand dollar surgeries and health issues down the road though.
Not true. Stop making excuses. It's really not that hard, just buy stuff from the outer rows of the grocery store (meat and produce) and you solve 90% of dietary problems. All you have to do is avoid the interior aisles.
@@mfjh505 Costco ground beef is best start to cheaply add meat. Other option are there. Organic food is great, but non organic natural food is great as well. If you cook at home lots of ingredients are not needed since you don’t need to make food shelf stable and taste ok for years
I can't afford organic all the time. I pray over my food and spray Holy Water on it🙏
@@barbaradolby2929 This is the reason food in monasteries taste different
Title is very MISLEADING! We have awesome food here- thank God for all our farmers! It’s American’s food HABITS that are bad!
Is seed oil food awesome?
I luv our farners but our food is killing us.
Billions of gallons of glyphosate.
Great approach with your kids! Great approach for everyone. Eating the protein and fat first helps your body regulate blood sugar levels, even if you eat choose to eat fruit and grains and (!!) sugar later in the meal.
Also, bullseye on the seed oils. Anyone who wants a great starting place to better eating habits should throw out the seed oils and start using butter, coconut oil, ghee, olive oil, tallow, duck fat and lard.
This is an advertisement for all the farmers who try to treat their land and their animals properly. This advertisement is for a movie The Farmer and the Hipster or Der Bauer and der Bobo which is only available in German with English subtitles but it is worth the trouble of reading subs.
It is a true fairy tale, not Disney but the Grimm type.
I totally agree and understand. I just can't afford real food
Drizzles more extra virgin olive oil and spoons of ground beef on my plate of pasta.
I mill my own wheat berries to make my pancakes and waffles. And use Greek yogurt and whole milk. And use avocado oil. It's all real on my end.
You guys are like 3 years late on this
😆😆😆😆😆😆😆BTW enjoy Mexican 🇲🇽 food 😋more often.
But not from taco bell.
@@verdespickles Relax cuz there r plenty of Mexican SuperMarkets in the States that also have a Kitchen or Restaurant.
If they are the same age, then he has aged way better than she has.
Let me start by saying I don’t inherently disagree with the premise. That said, Cameron looks unhealthy in this video and it makes me distrust the message about health a bit. Finally, just because she started a radical diet some months ago and it worked for her does not give her license to tell parents and Americans how to be doing things. Really weird vibe off this video.
She is right-on. Most American food is poison.
Please stay in your lane, folks. Neither of you have any clue about the foodstuffs you are shredding. All matter is composed of chemicals, and there is no "fake food". Organic is the real scam; higher prices at lower quality.
The corn oil lobby has arrived.
