Hey pilots! Tricker here and I want to welcome you to my channel on combat aviation. I'm a real world pilot in the Airbus 319/320/321 series and I enjoy DCS World, Falcon BMS, Falcon 4.0, IL-2 Sturmovik, X-plane 11, and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020.
If you want to fly WWII aircraft over Normandy and the English Channel, then DCS World WWII is for you and they have plenty of aircraft to choose from such as the BF-109, FW-190, Spitfire, P-47 Thunderbolt, and P-51 Mustang. If you enjoy modern aerial combat then you want to focus more on DCS World products such as the F-16, A-10C Warthog, AH-64D Apache, F-15, F-14, JF-17, SU-27, Mirage, Mig-29, F-18 Hornet, Mi-8, Mi-24 Hind, Uh-1 Huey, Ka-50, F-5, Mig-21, AV-8b Harrier, and the F-4 Phantom. Some of the mods that are out there for DCS World are the F-22 Raptor, SU-57, A-4 Skyhawk, Rafale, and Gripen.
I enjoy other games such as Total War, Battlefield, War Thunder, Escape from Tarkov, as well as Squad.

how to disable tossing? everytime I drops bomb in CCRP mode it wants me to toss, don't know how to disable it
Just keep flying straight and level and you will get the normal ccrp, the toss mode comes first
Exactly Ticker mentions, there is not an on of switch, you just ignore that.. when passed that point you will get different symbology😉
@@TrickerDCS do you have to set the release angle first to 0 ? Or just keep it at default 45° and ignore it ?
@@airbornestuff That's what I want to know aswell. I cant seem to get the toss down at all even follow this guide and Wag's aswell. I've tried the release angle at 0 and nothing happens.

Oh dang, the viper has come a long way. I've been away from dcs for a bit over two years, your video makes me want to get back into it but i'll probably need a ton of catch-up to do, learning everything i missed in the viper.

so helpful for me. Thanks alot. That whole "TOSS Bombing Change Update" went above my head and i was totally confused when i saw a flashing circle in the f16 hud. This helped alot to understand the new procedure! thanks tricker!

If you love tossing bombs, you will LOVE tossing salad! Tossed salad and scrambled eggs! Hey baby I hear the blues are callin'.... 🎶
Here’s a my super fast recipe for scrambled eggs. Basically you put some oil in the pan and add whatever raw veggies/meats you wish, cooking for a few minutes, then crack the eggs directly into the pan stirring occasionally until no longer runny. Add cheese at the end, and mix it in by fluffing a bit with fork and serve!
Ingredients
Eggs
Oil for cooking
Veggies (my favorites include chopped asparagus, fresh spinach, artichoke hearts and sundried tomatoes)
Cheese (my favorite is goat, but try cheddar, mozzarella, parmesan or pepper jack or others)
Fresh herbs, spices, salt & pepper (to taste)
Cooked meats (bacon, chopped ham, etc)
Heat oil and saute herbs and veggies (onion until it’s translucent and garlic until fragrant if using either) for a few minutes
Crack eggs directly into pan and stir occasionally until eggs are no longer runny
Add cheese and salt/pepper to taste
Serve with tossed salad (salad greens + oil + balsamic vinaigrette)

Since these are guided munitions you just use the JIZZ (giggity) on the HUD
Both of them should have a specific loft range cue on the LAR but ED hasn't implemented it.
Great video, Tricker! Question: have you been able to get this to work with CBU-97s? The CBU-97s always fall short for me, even if I'm just using CCIP without toss bombing. Works just fine for the bombs you demonstrated, though.
Always fall short for me too, there seems to be a known bug at the moment from which I’m told with the CBUs and the loft mode.
@@TrickerDCS thanks! Good to know it's not just me. CBU-97s are so much fun with the Viper, and I'm eager to finally try them with CCRP loft; I really hope they fix the issue soon.

Can you do it with the CBU-105 or -97? That hasn't worked for me, perhaps because initial release was below the burst altitude?
So the 105 is a guided munition so it has its own special “LAR” on the right. Basically you can do whatever you want with it but there will be no “toss” symbology. The cbu97 you can do with this procedure but at the current time it’s bugged and always falls short .

Have done some more testing - yes, you have to release above BA, which makes sense I guess and yes, the 97 still doesn't work. But overall this works nicely and some good hits, thank you.
@@ianboys1000 yah i tried about 10 times while making the video and was wondering what was going on with the CBU's. Come to find out they are bugged lol
I can't tell you how many times I have forgotten to flip the laser arm switch, only to pickle off a bomb that probably committed a war crime or two.

Can you toss bomb the cbu-97's and 105's? I just tried toss bombing rockeyes with PRI-fuze in FA18 and they just exploded up at my tossing altitude.
Do you think IRL F-16 pilots have a physical sense of how much 4gs are and don't need to look at the gauge/display?

whenever I try to drop bombs level in CCRP, they always fall wayyyy long. I see now that the initial cue is for the toss, and the second cue is for CCRP level, but why are my clusters going so long if I am just supposed to ignore the toss cues if I want to drop level?
